What type of support for labview usb protocols?

Hello guys I want to connect a device to your pc via a usb port and I want to use labview to analyze the data.

But first of all, I would like to know what usb protocols support for labview.

USB, USB CDC and other TMC?

I ve read labview recognizes a raw device to the usb, but what is? Is it VI to read and send data, or I have to do? If these VI exists, they do the handshake? flow control?

Thank you.

Please read the chips and have a look at the USB specification (it is linked to in the nuggets).

TMC, CDC, MAss Storage are all built on the basic USB protocols.

LabVIEW has no built-in support for one of these classes of devices except Test and measurement.

  • MY DELL LATITUDE D610 HOW CAN I UPGRADE TO THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS? NOW IT IS WINDOWS 7, WHAT VERSION IS SUPPORT FOR USE WELL ON MY DEVICE?

    MY DELL LATITUDE D610 HOW CAN I UPGRADE TO THE NEW VERSION OF WINDOWS? NOW IT IS WINDOWS 7, WHAT VERSION IS SUPPORT FOR USE WELL ON MY DEVICE? PLEASE HELP ME

    Read this: upgrade Windows 10 Dell Latitude D610

    Take a look at my answer, complete instructions.

    Basically speaking, Dell officially supports Windows 2000 and Windows XP on Dell Latitude D610 (and other models of Dx10).

    However it can really run Windows Vista and 7 at least, as long as you max out the RAM (2 GB, 2 x 1 GB, can be purchased at a great price in eBay) and install the drivers, in particular graphics drivers, look in Device Manager and see what drivers are needed manually.

    If you're lucky to have a D610 with ATi graphics card then you can even run Windows 8 and 10 with all drivers available, and I can tell you that it won't be slow dog not unlike a lot of people say, I don't have something similar (a HP Compaq nx8220) in common use. Keep as lean as possible (not bloatwares, anti-virus etc.) system, and it will serve you well.

  • What type of SSD for Satellite L70-A-14U

    I would like to replace the HARD drive of my laptop Toshiba L70-A-14U DSS. What type of disc should I buy?

    * 2.5 "ok?
    * mSATA-300, mSATA-600 or SATA III?
    * 9, 5mm or 7mm a disc?

    Which of these options are ok?

    Hello

    The SSD can be used instead of the HARD disk.
    The handles for laptop and SATA 2.5 9.5 mm height HDD.
    For me, this means that you can also use a height of 2.5 9.5 mm SATA SSD drive.

    The SATA controller is compatible with the latest standards.
    This means that you will be able to use the fastest SSD drive. But of course the SSD drive performance (data transfer speed) will be pointing down to the same standard supported by the controller.

  • What type of interface for my graphics card for M9400z

    I have a M9400Z.  The video card failed yesterday.  What type of video PCI interface card should I buy for replacement?

    Here are the specifications of your desktop m9400z CTO. Based on the specifications, the existing video card is of type PCI Express x 16 (PCIe x 16). The power supply provided with the system is rated at 350 watts. So, you will need to buy a PCIe x 16 video card with a requirement of system recommended 350 Watt power or less.

  • Support for LabVIEW 2014 and CanOPEN cRIO-9067

    Hello

    We have NEITHER 9881 CANOpen communication module and cRIO-9067.

    According to the NI 9881 product description page the module should work with cRIO-9067. However, does not support the latest NOR-Industrial Communications for CANopen 1.0.3 2014 LabVIEW and NI RIO 14.0. This means that we cannot use cRIO-9067, can we? If so, when the next version of the pilot will be available? It will work with the cRIO-9030?

    Thank you in advance,

  • What type of disc for instalation of windows

    Hi all.

    I have an autistic girl with a disability, and a few years back I he bought his first new laptop computer to help him with his work, but also games. within 3 months, she has accidentally broke and cannot be repaired.  over the years us have bought second-hand laptop computers and eventually died or broken, which becomes quite costly. the last lap top, she broke the power supply on the motherboard (cannot be repaired). but I can get a replacement one but would need to buy a new operating system. My question is what type of instalation I can buy that would allow me if it doesn't happen again (touch wood it won't) but it will because of his disabilitys. can I then I reinstall windows on another laptop. without all the costs again.

    Thanks for any help.

    Sean.

    Purchasinf Windows licenses from a site selling at auction like Ebay is a mistake ticking. Auction sites are known to have sold a non-genuine licenses or MSDN/Technet that should not be resold.

    Your best option is to buy a complete retail WIndows 7 license, but who are now rare due to demand. You may want to consider buying the full retail version Windows 10 Home license which includes the transfer of rights and can be reinstalled as many times as you want.

    Regarding the type of laptop, if you continue to spend so much on laptops over and over again, I recommend that you invest in a difficult book that is not easy to break. Could save money over time.

  • Question about support for LabVIEW DLLS and Unicode

    Hello

    I have a question about LabVIEW and DLL functions calls.

    I use a DLL (sorry, I can't share it) that was written in C. It was written to support Unicode and non-Unicode function calls.

    The Unicode function is valid, then FunctionNameW is called if FunctionNameA is called.

    I am building a few VI to access the library. I have the regular functions of FunctionNameA work.

    My question is, does LabVIEW support versions of function FunctionNameW Unicode, and if so is it necessary Although LabVIEW is already working with the standard function call?

    Am I being redundant or what should I build in Unicode support?

    The first time I tried to test the Unicode functions, I had an error, and I guess this is a system setting.

    Thank you for your time in advance.

    DB_IQ wrote:

    I don't think I have TO implement the Unicode, but I want if I can.

    For what I do, I think almost it is not serious. But I wanted to know if it could be used.

    The short answer is "Yes, you can do it."  However, it may open a new Pandora's box.  If you're not careful, problems and complications that can still spread to other projects that are not using Unicode!  It is better not to summon this monster unless there is absolutely no other way to do the job.
