What version of XP I'm runnin 32-bit or 64-bit?

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Hello

To check what version of XP you are using, I suggest you go through the Microsoft KB article and check if it helps.

How to determine whether a computer is running a 32-bit version or the 64 bit version of the Windows operating system: http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/827218

I hope that helps!

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite L500D and early upward he asks in the recovery menu of the product to choose the 32-bit version of Windows 7 or Windows 7 64-bit version.

I don't really know what option I have to be selected.

    Can some please help?

    Hello

It s your choice either version you choose! ;)

But if you have 4 GB or more RAM installed I suggest to choose the 64-bit version. Only this version can handle 4GB or more of RAM.

If you n t have 4 GB of RAM, you can choose the 32-bit version. Some older applications require a 32 bit OS.

Have fun with your new laptop! :)

  • What version of firefox I have?

Please tell me what version of Firefox that I use?

Unless you know how to separate installs and use separate profiles with each 37.0.1 Firefox and the former 21.0 vulnerable or 16.0 as you should not share the same profile.

so I suggest you use Firefox portable instead since you seem to have Windows and not Mac OSX or Linux.

Here is portable Firefox 21.0 and 16.0 for a single site. The English (en-US) is at the bottom of the list of locales nearby.

  • I can't find the tab to see what version I'm in help. Where the tab?

I need to be able to find what version of Firefox, I am, at a given time. One source of help that I found via Google says I should "click Help, then select about MOzilla Firefox. The version of the browser will appear on the Info screen. "But I can't find the help tab. Where is he?

There seems to be a lot more layouts possible these days that there was once.
Your Firefox is outdated - you will always have the Firefox icon orange in the upper left corner. Help is at the end of the list; About Firefox is the end of the list to help.
Now, most people will access help via the question mark in the three Bar icon.
Or, right-click in the toolbar space and check the menu bar. When indicated, the help is at the end of the menu bar.
To get a more precise answer to your version, go to Options > Advanced Options > update > view update history.
I have no keyboard shortcuts, but I think that the previous method of help no longer works. Someone may be able to bring us up-to-date.

  • Have Fire Fox 33 and need to know what version of UBUNTU to be compatible?

Have four hearts and plenty of room on the side of the memory and 33 running for yahoo and I want to go to union UBUNTU OS/Fire Fox. What version of it is compatible with 33? 32-bit, 64-bit, or what number of UBUNTU's downloads I need to run? Thanks for any help and have a good one, deedeest111

Mozilla has 32-bit and 64-bit Linux built as you can see at https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Unlike with Windows, you must have enough current some packages in order to use Firefox. So any release Ununtu in recent years must manage current Firefox. As you can see the demands of 33.1 is the same since 17.0

  • What version of Thunderbird I use?

I'm used to see an 'About' option (which tells me what version I use) when I click on help, but I saw this on Thunderbird. How can I find the version? I ask because I'm trying to copy emails from Thunderbird on a Windows XP computer to Thunderbird on Windows 8 computer and although I can copy files, Thunderbird Windows 8 is not 'see' them. Its file structure is very different from that of Thunderbird on the XP machine.

  • Thunderbird does not and I need to know how to find out what version of Thunderbird I have?

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium, use Firefox, but know not how do I know what version. I have Zone Alarm anti virus / firewall, iolo System Mechanic and run them both regularly. I also have a g-mail account, a folder marked 'Gmail' in Thunderbird, and basically 100% of my Gmail messages come to my Thunderbird Inbox. After the opening of Thunderbird, the green "loading" round is seen turning @ low lower left says 'Download Message', @ bottom lower right, the "progress bar" shows HARDLY any green and Thunderbird takes FOREVER to load. If I try to click on an e-mail, (most of the time I don't even have to do), my screen becomes an opaque milky white and at the top of the page says "Thunderbird"(not responding). "» I usually just leave the laptop, and back in 30 minutes or so to start to open my emails. Sometimes, it is ready for me to start reading e-mail and other times, it STILL doesn't react, and I have to continue to wait. Using Ctrl / alt/del... Thunderbird highlight the Task Manager, and click 'end process' is not good. restart, OR shut down / restart also does no good.

If the files are corrupt, compaction usually does nothing good. With corrupt files, if you can remove them and empty the trash compacting should remove them. If there was something wrong with the messages, when you looked at them first, you would see that. It is the only way to detect, unless that have a way to read the whole mail accounts file.

Usually an antivirus does not show the cookies, but antispyware shows sometimes, but most just delete cookies, sometimes a little too enthusiastic.

Hi jhughey, Tyler is not actually know what version you have, but your Firefox provides this information to Web sites on itself:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0

This is called the sites use it for statistical purposes and user agent string and sometimes adapt pages to your browser (for example, desktop, mobile, Windows, Mac, IE, no IE, etc.).

  • Problems with 24. Cannot know what version I had before the 24th. Where can I find it?

Should not be whiney, but 2 - 3 times a year, these updates of FF make everything go haywire. I don't have the patience to go through all the questions and find solutions for them right now. I want to just go back to a working version, the version I had immediately before the 24th. But I don't know what version that was. I deleted the FF and installed 3.6.28, but it has even more questions. Is there a place to find the versions that I used, or if someone has similar problems and knows what previous version worked perfectly, can you please let me know who it was? Yes, I am still running XP, and yes I know I should update. I'm getting a new computer for Christmas and will not need to "Fix" things, so just I want to continue with what I got for the last 2 months.

Questions that I speak to you, it's my bookmarks bar barely works. My email link does not work, I lost the icons for half of my favorites...

Please, what was the last good version?

    Thank you

Please upgrade to Firefox 24 (using earlier versions let you at a high risk of attack) and then tell us exactly what does not work with your bookmarks bar.

Your user agent suggests that you're under Firefox 23.

    User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; RV:23.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/23.0.

You can find your version of Firefox by going to help > About Mozilla Firefox.

Re my browser - I don't know what version it is. Some sites say that they are not supported by what I, for example, required F'fox version 9 - question: How can I know what I have and how to upgrade?

    Follow this:

Click on: FIREFOX icon > HELP > ABOUT FIREFOX

Then you will see your version of Firefox and should be updated. If so you will be asked if you want to download the latest version.
