When App Store starting spinning wheel

I often get a spinning wheel when starting the App Store on my iMac. It's still, sometimes accidents application after some time. On the internet I found some solutions (killing the app, removing plist files, doing a NVRAM reset,...). It helps, but the second time I start the App Store to the spinning wheel is back. It's annoying because I want to install the updates and I don't want to delete the plist files and make a NVRAM reset each time. Maybe someone knows a more permanent solution?

Start Safe Mode removes the system caches that can help.

Upper left corner of your screen, click on the Apple  > Shut Down.

After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key. You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

Once you are in Mode without failure, return to the menu Apple . In the drop-down list, click: reboot

Then launch the App Store then try your updates.

On Safe Mode

    Hello

I've updated to Windows Pro 8.1 today. Windows 8 Pro. I updated via the App Store.

After installing, everything works well except for the App Store. When I click it (regardless of whether it is by the start screen or in the list of Apps) begins the application store - the green screen with the logo of the store. And after a second or seconds (depends) it's just minimazes. It will not load. It has not been loaded since the update.

After I click on the App Store reduced it shows the screen green with the logo of a second (or seconds) and reduced again. Closing and re-opening do not help. The pattern is repeated.

Reboot PC (several times) does not help.

All Windows updates are installed. No new are available (I checked manually).

No update in the App Store Windows were pending before upgrade to Windows 8.1.

I tried to disable Firewall (I use Eset Smart Security 6 antivirus.). Did not help.

    I would appreciate your help.

I solved the problem on my PC. The App Store works now.
Thanks to WullieR8 on this topic: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1_pr-windows_store/windows-store-not-opening-after-upgrading-to/dfb0c4c7-4d87-411f-bf5e-c15c57e00ffd?page=2

Who suggested this entry in the command line (Windows + Q, write CMD) with administrative privileges (without the quotes):

"powershell ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage - DisableDevelopmentMode.
    "S ' register to $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml.

However I do not really understand what the line is. So if there are a few professionals, could you please make clear for me and nobody to read this topic if I could have broken my PC by entering the line somehow?

    Thanks for any response.

  • Creative Cloud Desktop App taped blue spinning wheel after the credit card charged.

    Hello gentlemen of Adobe.

I just changed with the trial of ADOBE FIRST CC and I have my most important deadline on Friday, and obviously the test 30 days ended today.

I bought the subscription for the FIRST CC, my card was charged, but I'll have any kind of problem (WHAT NOW I PAID?).

First of all, the program told me that the Version of the premier CC have been corrupted or damaged and reinstall. OK, I did. And then "Start trial ', push it and it crash.".

Now, the creative cloud starts not more... I'm stuck on blue spinning wheel.

I love how I started having these problems when I paid. I have all my project that I'm building in 30 days, almost finished and I can't use it. My deadline is this Friday... Help, please.

  • Creative Cloud Desktop App taped blue spinning wheel after update.

After searching the forums, I found a post suggesting a fix.

    I have done the following:

1 - CC uninstalled desktop application

2 - remove all the files in the OOBE folder for my user profile

    3. restarted

4 downloaded again the CC desktop app and reinstalled

I'm stuck on a blue spinning wheel after the login prompt. All I see is the behance tab and the applications tab. No screen, no files tab, no tab fonts... I can go to the preferences, but cannot make changes, because it goes back to waiting. My Internet works fine, at the same time.

Can someone provide suggestions? I spend a LOT of time trying to solve this problem.

    Thank you

    It worked for me:

Open the Finder, click go > go to folder. Type in ~/library and press ENTER.

Open the Application Support/Adobe folder and rename the OOBE OOBEold folder.

Click the icon of the Apple at the top left, select System Preferences

Choose the network that is currently connected to the internet can you Ethernet or

Airport (Wireless). Click the Advanced button, and then click tab proxy servers.

Under "Select a Proxy Server to configure" uncheck all the boxes proxy, then uncheck "use FTP the passive Mode (PASV).

    Hope this helps someone else.

  • App Store does not load

I have an old iMac to four year running El Capitan 10.11.4

My machine ran that sort of update a few days ago and since then he said that I have an update to load into the App Store.

However when I try to open App Store I just get the doom whirly thing and a blank page.

    I'm doing something wrong?

    Hello

Just in case, check exactly what OS X is installed.

Click on your menu  Apple at the top left of your screen. In the drop-down menu, click on: about this Mac

If you see v10.11.5, this is the latest version of El Capitan.

If you see v10.11.4, restart your Mac and then open System Preferences > App Store , then click on: check now

That should launch the App Store for you, then you can update to v10.11.5.

If you still have problems loading the App Store, start Safe Mode removes system caches that can help.

Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

    1. Start or restart your Mac.
    2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key .
    3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

Then, open the App Store and try to update again.

If you still have problems, you can install the v10.11.5 by downloading the combo > Download OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 Combo Update

  • Slow to start, the spinning wheel of death and typing delayed.

Hello! Lately my MBPR 15 inch, early 2013, responds slowly. I currently have El Capitan 10.11.3 installed. The start-up took longer when I had installed Yosemite. After I login, Finder become spinning wheel for at least 10 seconds while it is slow to respond and asks to load time has increased. Randomly when I type, as I am now typing, he rowed for a short period of time, then becomes the spinning wheel.

  • App Store - spinning Cog

When I open the App Store on my iMac (21.5 inch Late 2103 2.7 GHz Intel i5, 8 Gb, El Capitan 10.11.4) all that I get is the spinning gear and no progress. No connection with the App Store and no update - nothing. I tried to restart, but without success. I tried to check out of the store with my Apple ID and connect but always without success. Any ideas anyone? Any help is appreciated.

Please test after taking each of the steps that you have not already tried it. Stop when the problem is resolved. Back up all data before making any changes.

Sometimes, the cause of the problem may be an Apple network, whereby failure cases none of the steps below will have no effect. You just have to wait for the failure be fixed. This should rarely, if ever, take more than a few hours.

    Step 1

Connect to the App Store by selecting Sign In in the Store menu. If you are already connected, disconnect and then reconnect.

    Step 2

Remove or disable "Little Snitch", or any other third party software like that blocks outbound connections to network, in accordance with the instructions of the developer.

    Step 3

    In the menu bar, select

     ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network

If the preferences window is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Click the Advanced button, and then select the Proxies tab. If any proxy are selected, make a note of and then deselect them. You need not change the bypass or the FTP settings. Click OK, and then apply. Test. The result may be that you can not connect to any web server. Restore the previous settings if necessary.

    Step 4

Log off or restart the computer.

    Step 5

Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you usually connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode).

    Step 6

If possible, connect to a different network and test.

    Step 7

    Reset the NVRAM.

I pref deleted files, cache files, restart the Mac, waited for hours without improvement. If anyone can help, that would be appreciated.

  • Failed to connect when you connect on app store

I'll be back just my Macbook Pro 13 inch 2012 model repairs after having found a defective HARD drive cable. The authorized repair shop changed the cable and the HARD drive and now I'm trying to set up the OS X with my AppleID.

What I've noticed, is that the computer "horses" a newspaper asking for passwords and allow several times the same questions. For once, he wants more to accept the certificate of wifi and connecting to iCloud also asked for passwords at least twice each time you start.

I could not connect to the wifi during the phase of configuration of Mac OS X for the first time, but once connected I managed to get the communication works. The Safari browser is also ridiculously overprotective and not even open the www.icloud.com because it "cannot establish a secure connection", and whenever I visit a page online it asks me to accept the certificate. She also will not download anything, as I tried to download chrome many times, even if she manages to open several pages like apple.com and www.google.com.

The App store does not accept my login credentials when you try to connect to the App store and iTunes or the will.

I thought I have try and open it in recovery mode and reinstall OS X when you are connected to the internet, but trying to connect to one of the two networks (protected WPA2) it does not connect.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be the problem? None of my other devices have no problem whatsoever using this network. And for some reasons, some applications will accept the appleid and the password while others keep insisting that the password is incorrect.

I read the date of automatic update, and now the display of connection for the App Store is different.

I now have the message 'an Apple ID verification code is required to connect. Enter your password followed by the verification code displayed on your other devices". I get the message my iPhone for authorize and click on allow and get code verification, but no new window opens on my Mac to enter the verification code. Put me to square.

iCloud now constantly asking the password at startup and does not accept the Passover incidentally.

  • App Store does not open, ball keeps spinning.

My App Store won't open on my MacBook pro. Ball guard spinning.

    Howdy Dennis,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.

If the App Store will not be open on your Mac, then I suggest to try to see if the same thing happens in a new user.  This will help us determine the next step in troubleshooting.

How to test with another user account

You can find out if unexpected behavior is related to the user file or a parameter in trying to reproduce the problem to a different user account. This process includes creating a new user account, connect to it and test for the issue.

    Create a test user account

    1. In the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
    2. Click the users and groups in the System Preferences window.
    3. Click the lock icon and enter an administrator name and password.
    4. Click on the button Add (+) below the list of users.
    5. Choose a type of user in the new pop-up menu.
    6. Give the user a name and first name, account name, and password.
    7. Click OK.
    8. Close the System Preferences window.

If there are documents from your user account that you want to test with original, place a copy of these items in the shared folder in the users folder. Press the Option key while dragging a file in this folder to create a copy.

Connect to the test user account

Log out of your current user account by choosing logout in the Apple menu, and then open a session the new account that you created. If you are prompted to login with your iCloud or Apple ID account when you log in, skip this step.

    Try to reproduce the problem

Try the same steps that caused the unexpected behavior to appear. For example, if you are unable to print, try printing from this user account. If you were unable to connect to the Internet, try to navigate on a website of this user account.

If you use specific test settings depends on (for example using a specific e-mail account or an account iCloud) implemented the same test user account. For email and other parameters, you can use the Internet accounts pane in system preferences to set up these types of accounts. If your home folder files are necessary for tests, copy them into the shared folder in the users folder (/ Users/Shared). After you connect as a user test, copy these items to the same location in the test user home folder to test with.

If a problem occurs in account only one user

Is using the same steps in a user account test does not cause the same unexpected behavior, most likely you don't need to reinstall applications or OS X.

    • If a problem occurs only in a single application, check the documentation or Web site for instructions on troubleshooting specific preferences or the definition of the application files.
    • If you need help with a problem or a specific alert message, search the Apple support Web site for the text of the alert message you see.

If a problem occurs in more than one user account

If the same unexpected behavior occurs in more than one user account on your Mac, try checking for software or hardware problems.

    Take care.

  • When I opened the trash I spinning wheel of death

    MacBook Pro (retina, 15 inch, mid-2014). 2.5 GHz Intel Core i7. 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. Yosemite 10.10.5.

Thanks in advance for any help. I'm reviewing my files ransacked before emptying since everyone trashes things as they see fit. In the past I was able to drag all the files I want to keep it out of the trash in a folder 'save' on the desktop then empty what's left in the trash.

Now when I click on the trash icon file opens, I can see the list of files, but then the spinning wheel is displayed immediately. The computer doesn't gel (I use any other program) but Finder freezes and I can't Force Quit/relaunch. (Trash is then closed). I can reopen it Trash, but the same thing happens again.

All options in addition to a program or terminal to empty force command the trash until I can't view it?

    Thank you, all the...

    May be a corrupt .plist.

Make a backup, preferably 2 backups on 2 separate drives.

Go to Finder and select your user folder. With this Finder window as the windshield, select Finder/display/display options for presenting or order - J.  When the display options opens, check "show the library folder. This should make your visible user library folder in your user folder.  Select the library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist.  Move the .plist on your desktop.

Relaunch the Finder by restarting the computer and test. If it works fine, delete the plist for the office.

If the same, return the .plist to where you have it since, by crushing the latest.

Thanks to leonie for certain information contained in this.

If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.
