If you have changed the preference xpinstall.signatures.required in the Editor of Configuration of Firefox (topic: config page) as a workaround, you can go back and restore the preference to the real.

  It seems that your ID Adobe was initially registered in Pakistan due to which it is not allowing you to make purchases in the United States.

  You can create a new Adobe ID, register in the United States and then it should allow you to make a purchase.

  It is possible that you have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

  Web browsing, while another program is running is darn almost impossible. It took me two minutes just to type this message.

  I solved the problem, download and install browser 'Opera', transferred account info and bookmarks, works perfectly, no crashes, no stands, just the speed. Much better browser, for those who still have problems.
