• Computer update downloaded vista crashed all I get is blue screen please help!

  I downloaded an update about 4 days on my daughter's computer. Now, Vista does not load, I get a blue screen saying Windows has been shut down to avoid damage to the computer, it gives an error 0X0000C1F5 shutdown more it give fixing options like Unplug appliances and start in safe mode, but none of it works. I tried all the options in the F8 menu, I tried F12 and I also tried to use a new Windows Vista disk to start. I also ran the repair of the system and checked every option it gives under the menu in advance. Someone please help me I am at a loss. How an update to do this. I know that this is not a virus, because I did an audit of security with CA and done a defrag through the system until I installed updates. It was my weekly check for the computer that day.

  I've recently updated to the last MUSE CC 2015.2 and when I publish or preview of the Web site, I get this error.

  JavaScript exception: error calling the selection function

  typeError: cannot read property of 'msie' undefined.

  Things, I tried without success:

  1 tried to view in different browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome), same message.

  2 tried to visualize each exported html file displays the same message.

  3. all files to the server via FTP. same error message.

  4 re-released all the files to the server using the Adobe MUSE FTP program. same error message.

  I am looking for any help I can at the moment.

  I mean the site worked a lot and then update then not work at all.

  Thanks to all that replied and I tried to help him, but after much trial and error with the widgets that I used, I found the culprit.

  musegrid - circles backwards,

  When I inserted a new widget he came with just on error the screen design of Muse.

  In my view, that he also had something to do with the museutils.js file. Error screens showed no mention of the widget.

  But this error on every page, and as it was on a master. I knew this had to be the problem.

  Makes feel you good inside where you can find these things! Phew

  If I have more problems I'll you guys know.

  OK, so last night, my computer was freezing up so I held the power button down to turn off, I turned it back and he asks me if I want to start in safe or just normally.  I chose because it starts as usual, it's just sitting there, it goes through the motions as it will start but it never does, I went to sleep woke up to the top and all I have is a black screen with mouse pointer again, nothing has changed, the same things happen when I try to start it in safe mode.  I tried to get the disks it is came up with, but the computer seems to not even acknowledge that they were never inserted, I don't know what to do, can anyone help me, I'm sitting here on the laptop of my bf and I am interested in this black screen with the pointer of the mouse in the Middle, I don't know what to do...

  You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
  Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
  on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

  Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
  CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
  on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
  by tapping F8 as you start several times.

  Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
  That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the
  Difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect. You can try a
  Google to see the proposed repairs, whom some have worked however these cover a wide
  field efforts.

• How can I remove "Microsoft Power Shell", that was installed when I downloaded 'Mr Fixit' this program was not helpful, an it took all of my memory.

  I have now finally deleted the various stages of 'Mr Fixit' because it wouldn't work. He said that as it was not supported by my computer it couldn't work.

  However "Power Shell" does not allow me to remove it until I have reinstall 'Mr Fixit' but I don't want to do that, then there must be another way I can remove "Power Shell.

  Sorry for the subject line.  The site is not yet online.  However.  I just figured out the problem.  Somehow, I deleted a whole section of CSS code.  When I went through line by line I missed it because everything seemed in order.  I noticed because I actually saved the code in a Word doc so I could send it to myself last week.  I compared the current code and found the problem.  Learned a lesson, but almost gave myself a heart attack.

  Try to disable some settings in the properties > compatibility of the desktop Firefox Shortcut tab.

  • turn off the display timing of high DPI settings

  Decrease in the String prefs 1.0 to 0.1 0.1 or 0.05 layout.css.devPixelsPerPx as follows to adjust the size of all fonts and other elements in Firefox.

  The layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref is a string parsed in float value and allows you to adjust the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) specifically (resolution 0.1 or 0.05).

  You can use values between 0.05 and 1.0 to reduce the size of the elements or use a value greater than 1.0 to grow and enlarge the elements (percentage divided by DPI, % / DPI).

  We need the DMP file because it contains the single record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.
  You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting in SafeMode (F8) with networking.
  If you are overclocking stop.  (chances are if you are unsure if you are, you are not) a
  To allow us to help you with symptoms BSOD on your computer, download the contents of your folder "\Windows\Minidump".  We need at least 2 FILES DMP to diagnose and confirm
  
  The procedure:
  * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another location (temporary) somewhere on your machine.
  * Zip up the copy.
