When Firefox opens a pop-up window with a Web site, it comes up blank - what to do?
It happened when I was on the site of Medicare, I think also when I tried to print an invoice in Amazon, and a Web site, I use all the time that I subscribe to-normally Firefox opens a new window with the information, but the window with the blue in the looking albums bar as I could get into a website to go , but it won't be the same white, let me do that - everything is non-functional. I tried enabling the pop-up windows, but that did not help. This has happened once before and I had to reset the whole thing, which has been a major concern. I really want to do so I hope someone can help!
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the start safe mode window or make changes.

How is it when I try to open one of my favorte often visited Web sites I get a blank page with only the word 'false' in the upper left?
This just started happening the last two days. I tried to add the url to my list to activate in Internet Options, also to accept the list for windows firewall. I rebooted and restored.
It is annoying when I can't access Web sites on my PC. There is no control parenting, nor is it a reason to be since I'm 57 years old, single, live alone and have no children, and not to mention that this isn't a single adult site. This is an auction site. The same thing happens on a site of sports too.

Please go ahead and follow the steps mentioned and later a update on the State of the question.
Method 1: Start Internet explorer with the mode without modules and check.
Click Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, and click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
If the problem does not persist in Internet Explorer (No Add-ons), then it is one of the Add-ons at the origin of this problem. Please follow the steps below to locate the problem the weak module:
a. restart IE normally.
b. click on tools.
c. click on Manage Add-ons.
d. disable add-ons by clicking on them one at a time to highlight and then click Disable.
e. reactivate modules one by one and check with what add-on, you get this error message.
f. turn off the add-on at the origin of the problem.

Save the form before you open the pop-up window
Can someone share with me the best way to save a form before clicking on a button that opens a popup window? I have a button on a form that opens a pop-up window with a form. Once a user enters data into the context menu, the information is saved, the popup closes and the parent page is reloaded to display the newly added area of report data. B/c that each parent page refresh, any changes the user made before clicking on the button to open the pop-up window is erased once the pages are reloaded.
I currently have a button with a redirect to URL in option ("javascript:openPopup(&FACID.)"). The first function opens a new window (for a fraction of a second), and then a doSubmit ('SAVE') to save the parent page, and then put the focus on the pop up window. This works, but there are a lot of flicker of the page I want to avoid.
Is there a "smoother" way to perform these steps? I understand that the parent page should be provided so that the data is saved, but it doesn't have a difference if I call the doSubmit('SAVE') before opening the pop-up window (in the function openPopup)... I always get the same results.
I have it working now, but I was wondering if anyone knew a better way to do this.

OK - code 'opener.location.href... '. ' may be replaced by 'opener.doSubmit ('SAVE'); "because that should trigger the normal submit on the home page.

New private window opens in pop up windows

I use Firefox on a Mac for many years and have been happy with it. I have recently went to a different trading called Trademonster.com platform and will have problems with its operation. When I call Trademonster, they told me that my Firefox must allow popup windows to operate. I notice that when I connect Trademonster on Firefox, it says «...» Firefox has prevented pop-up windows - 2 opening up." I spent under Security entered trademonster.com as site access and preferences, but I still get the signal that Firefox prevents pop-up windows from coming on the trading platform.

It's a slight discomfort, but the bookmark sidebar always appears when Firefox opens first. I uncheck in view or click the 'x', but he reappears on the next departure upward. I guess you don't watch this page when you closed Firefox last time. Also that you are not in private, correct navigation mode? Looks like it is maybe a problem with Firefox being able to save your file pref.js. You should try the steps listed in the preferences section that won't save trouble. Try and let me know how it goes.

3. What is the exact error message?Step 1: Check if the problem persists in safe mode with networking and send back the same.
Step 2: Also, look for error messages in the event viewer. If you find error messages after return the exact error message so that we can help you better.

I'm having a problem when I open My Documents, the window opens and looks great, I can go to any folder and open it and everything is well again, however if I then opened my pictures, and then open a file... some files, less than a second after they are open [and the pictures show] will make the window My Documents to disappear also all the desktop icons disappear the computer will then will reset it self , add all the icons and waiting for me to do something.
