  Many issues of the site can be caused by corrupted cookies or cache. To try to solve these problems, the first step is to clear cookies and cache.

  It is a known issue with 9.3. Currently, Apple knows about the issue but has yet to release a patch.

  You can try adding parameters in mailto. See for example http://www.ianr.unl.edu/internet/mailto.html

  If it works or not depends always on the viewer e-mail client configuration.

  Thanks a lot for your help. I finally found a way to open the PDF file by saving it to my documents folder then right-click to open it in Adobe Reader. This has proved to be a more useful to any similar future problem solution.
