When I import in first 7 .mts files audio is intermittent?

Good afternoon. I am new to this forum and your help would be appreciated. I recently bought a Sony Hard Drive Camcorder X105E and I did my first shoot. When I import files into first Elements 7 and preview audio is intermittent during playback. What I am doing wrong cause I can't understand it?

Thanks in advance for your answers

I guess that if the video is running on a separate hard drive somehow then the computer has a more effective management data?

You have "cracked the code". Although there are a lot of little variable, as how your CPU and chipset to handle calls to and from the HARD disk controller, etc., you hit the nail on the head. Ideally, we put in place a system, and it's more than a simple addition of a bunch of HARD drives, to spread out the work on several HARD drives. Cards/chips of effective Comptrollership also to this.

In many NLE top of range computers, we'll have a HARD drive (I speak of physics and NOT logical, i.e. here partitions), for the operating system and programs only. Another physical HARD disk will be used for the Windows virtual memory, only. Another will be for all media files. Another for project files and Scratch disks. Another for the exported video, with a plus for Audio exported. Often, the latter two will be in a RAID configuration of perhaps 0 or 50. These will be in fact several HARD drives with a hardware RAID controller. OK, that's the ultimate. I have only 5 HARD drives in my computer and fudge these specifications for a bit. Yet, it is a good system. At a minimum, I strongly recommend 2 HDD. It would be for the program files and the OS with * perhaps * the file Windows virtual Memorey. Nothing else! The second HDD would be for multimedia files, project files, scratch disks and exported files (Audio & video).

I recommend also stop background programs and processes, when editing. That doesn't mean that we don't have to be online, as the AV and spyware blockers will be decommissioned.

Good luck

You could try to convert the file to something PP like.  I'm sure that someone is a free software that can do the trick.

Premiere Pro transitions are not compatible with the AE. Make every shot like a dynamically distinct AE model bound or recreate your transitions in AE.

    Hello

Your question is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for Exchange Server on Technet. Please post your question in the Technet forums. You can follow the link to your question:

  • No sound when you import the .m2ts files

If I play with the Premier Pro trial version.  When I import my Panasonic TM700k .m2ts file there is no audio track.  There is no sound during playback of a video clip or after that I have to export it.  I'm new to PP so maybe it's something basic.

Only 8 367 people asked before. Read the limitations of the trial version.

    For reading reduced:

    * The trial version of Adobe first Pro CS5 does not include some features that depend on software licensed from parties other than Adobe.  For example, some codecs for encoding MPEG formats are available only with the full version of this product.

  • freezing of .mts files choppy playback and consistent

I recently bought the Sony NX3 to add to my arsenal. Unfortunately, when I import the first .mts files starts compliant video files and it takes some time. Not only that, but when I click on a file which is supposed to be consistent, the video plays back jerky and then freezes. The audio will continue to play but video just hangs. I edited before with NP .mts files even though they were HDV Files not 1920 x 1080 24 p. Mounting on a HP600 with Xeon E5520.  What are my options? I'd hate to have to transcode the files whenever I use the camera. Does anyone else have this problem?

Bingo... it's this USB connection. Guaranteed that will b e ch o pp see.

On the Page of the Tweaker (found on the forum hardware assets), they have a chart flow supported various internal and external connections by car & types. USB3 is much better than USB2 say... but still not fast enough for sustained Read/write speeds to be used for playback. Basically, for external, eSATA disks II or III or Thunderbolt are the only ones who can really carry the load.

  • CC2014 - MTS files do not ingest

I just tried importing some MTS files (without conversion) and no dice.

The error reported was: could not import the file ' filename. MTS.

These are the same files that I used in an earlier draft of the first.  I was able to import a MPEG2 file with no problems.

    Thanks for the information.

I just tried to import a single. MTS file with Prelude CC2014 on a Win7 machine, I'm able to import.

So, could you please describe the detailed steps when you encountered the problem? And a screenshot would be very useful.

  • Avoid duplicates when you import XMLs?

There are a few versions, we have fixed the problem to get the duplicate items when you import new projects in another.  This was very helpful.

However, I have noticed that when you import XMLs, first does not apply the same level of... discretion

Is it possible to get XMLs for import without creating duplicate items?  I found a workaround by first import the XML file into a new project and then import this project first to my main project... but when I'm in a great documentary film which takes 3-4 minutes to open each time, it's not ideal.

This is particularly important for people using the Pluraleyes because organize us images in first and then export to the EP, and then must bring with XMLs, and it would be great if we didn't have to do a bunch of media management manual to avoid duplicates in the project file.

    Thank you!

  • Audio jumps imported in first

    Hi guys,.

Recently, I tried to capture gameplay. Long story short, everything went well. I rubbed through the images and all audio is synchronized and everything is good. However, when I import into first, audio jumps on a specific point in the film, causing the rest of the synchronization sequence. As I said earlier, the film is very well before importing it in first.

Anyone know what is happening and how I can fix this problem?

I use Premiere Pro CC 2015 (9.0 Build) on a 10.0 Windows laptop (Intel i7 2.60 GHz, 8 GB RAM)

    Thanks a bunch!

If it is a variable rate, convert in constant rhythm with brake hand and then import it into Premiere Pro.

Use MediaInfo to find the codec and the rate:

  • Audio only will import when you import a video clip

When I import a video clip (any format) audio is imported.  However, the forecast of nail is still viable in the project window and I can even scrub through the video in the project window.  I was able to import correctly the other day and I don't think I changed anything.  I also tried some old clips I imported on other projects and I still have the same question.

  • How to improve the poor quality when importing the .mts files?

    Hey there,

This is my problem in a few words: I did the sequence with Canon camcorder, not course specifications about but I could dig them out if necessary. Files/clips are in format .mts and are so open bearable quality on my Windows PC.

However, when I import them into Adobe Premiere Pro (trial version), they lose spectacular quality, can stop at any second, but more important-, they are all "wavy", with almost scratches on the screen, so the resolution suffers a lot. This can be seen in the Timleine, and it's the same when you export.

When I create a new sequence, there are options to choose the parameters - maybe this could help? Also, maybe I need to indicate some specific settings during export.

Sound is OK, though the same as in the source video.

Thank you, any advice/guess will be highly appreciated!

    Kateryna.

    I meant this option:

  • I have files mp4 with 4 audio channels, but when I import it into the first it shows only a single channel

I have the mp4 with 4 channel audio file that is not in the audio channel. When I import in the first it shows only 1 channel. In the project window, I try to find other audio channels on option audio channel (Edit-> audio channels) but it shows other channels. How active other audio channels and retrieve audio sound?

When you go to interpret, I chose multichannel, then specified 4 tracks.

  • Artifacts when I import the .avi file in After Effects (and first)

    Hello

I am having some problems with After Effects I can't understand. I have a video in .avi that loads and plays fine in itself, but when I import to change in After Effects 5.5, I get strange during playback, and even artifacts reflect in the final export. I have the same problem when I try to import and display on the front. I have the sequence corresponding to the video file and even right click the file and interpret the images for the project to match the video file to be sure, but with no success to understand. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

I have the same problem as me being on my laptop or desktop. I use Windows 7 on both computers.

By the questions I should ask:

    • What exact of After Effects version? Include the minor version number - for example, after the CC (12.2.1) effects or After Effects CS6 (11.0.4). Do not just say "After Effects with the latest updates" or "After Effects CC"; give the specific version number. 10.5.0.253
    • You have installed the latest updates? (If not, you should. They fix a lot of problems). Yes
    • What operating system? This should include specific minor version numbers, like "Mac OS x 10.6.8" - not just "Mac". Windows 7
    • If you get error messages, what is the integral of the error message text? No messages.
    • What you were doing when the problem occurred? What is the right of the steps you take? Import and test ram preview and or rendered.
    • He has already worked before? If it worked before doesn't work now, what has changed on your computer in the meantime? First time I tried this.
    • Tell us about your hardware. Include the type of processor and the number of cores of CPU, amount of RAM installed, GPU, number and size connected monitors, number of hard drives, and how external drives are connected. Intel i5 2500 k 3.3 GHz, 8 GB ram, OS 64 b, 2 monitors, 3 hard disks. Radion AMD 6900
    • What versions of drivers for your graphics hardware you have installed (including the CUDA driver and driver for graphics card)? 13.12
    • Do you have any hardware I/O of third parties (e.g., AJA, Matrox, Blackmagic or MOTU)? No
    • What type (s) of the source footage? When talk of your source footage, tell us about the codecs, not only the types of containers. For example, "H.264 in a .mov container,' not just 'QuickTime '. .avi
    • You do not have QuickTime installed. (You should). If so, which version? The answer should be specific, such as "QuickTime 7.6.2". Yes, 7.7.5
    • What other software do you use? No
    • Do you have the third party effects or the codecs installed? none I know.
    • Using OpenGL in After Effects features? I think that Yes, he is allowed to.
    • The problem occurs only with your end result, RAM Preview, or both
    ? both
  • Using simultaneous multiple images rendering multiprocessing? no
  • You use the traced the beam 3D rendering engine? no
  • If the problem is with the output, give your exact output parameters (make the adjustment and output module settings). Help of screenshots. 2014-11-13_1514 - Tetra84 library

  • MTS files import does not in first CC 2014

I just installed new updates and tried to start a new project in first CC 2014 and import MTS files. I get an error message saying "the file has a compression type not supported."

I have worked with MTS files in first for awhile now, but I'm stuck which dates back to the old CC Premiere because it's the only way I can import these files. I found one of the great new things in 2014 CC BEST support for MTS and other formats.

Help, please! I'm really excited about all the new features in this update and want to be able to use them for work, but right now I'm super disappointed.

    Thank you

    Jase

I've seen a lot of reports like this, then something goes well.

Try to rename or move the folder with the media.  Then , open the project in 2014 CC.  It will ask you where is the press, that it points to the file renamed or moved.
