When I logged on Firefox, I found my empty outlook Inbox. Is there a way to retrieve all emails that were lost?

I got emails that I save, but are now gone. I wonder if there was malware or a virus that did it. Can you help me?

Hi, Firefox is a browser, it never stores your Emails.

You can contact Outlook.com for more details.

    Hey MarioPapa,

If you have a keyboard connected, you can click a message and press the CTRL + a shortcut to select all before using the button Delete. Unfortunately, there is no way to accomplish this task using the key.

  • How can I retrieve the bookmarks and folders that were lost when Firefox updated?

This morning, there was a message that firefox should be updated. Since I did not like (or use) Google Chrome or IE, I unchecked the options as part of the update. Once the update is complete, all my favorites and folders disappeared. Is there a way to retrieve either the lack of points OR restore/roll to the firefox browser that I was already using?

Hi, first of all open the bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > restore and see if you have a backup there.

If this isn't the case, please see - profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user dataand recovery of data from an old profile.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

  • My old broken computer and the hard drive is not recoverable. Is there a way to retrieve my favorites registered via the Firefox Web site?

My old computer crashed. I took the hard drive to specialist to see if it could be salvaged, but it may not. Now I have a new computer and run Firefox. is there a way to retrieve my Firefox bookmarks and files on my new computer via the Firefox Web site?

No sorry. If Mozilla saved automatically each users personal data to their website, this would be an extreme violation of the safety of users.

There is the Firefox Sync - what is Firefox Sync - optional service which must be put in place before personal data is lost.

You did not indicate EO to leave a copy of messages on the server, so when he downloaded from the server, they have been removed from it.  Go to tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced and check the box leave a copy on the server for the future.

  • Firefox always opens all tabs that were open when last closed

Firefox, started out of the blue, to always show my tabs in the last session when it is started. I checked Firefox not listed in the Task Manager list after closing. So I tried the following:

-change the "Startup of Firefox" option to all three of the available choices
-Change the setting browser.startup.page 0 manually via "subject: config.
    -from Firefox in safe mode.

None of them changed the behavior. It nevertheless opens the tabs that were open last.

I'm under V25.0. Any suggestions? It is a major nuisance.

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

The user.js file appears only if you or another software created, therefore, normally, he wouldn't be here.
You can check its contents with a text editor if you do not create this file yourself.

The user.js file is read whenever you launch Firefox and initializes the preferences to the value specified in this file, so set of preferences via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

  • After auto-update today I stupidly agreed to return to its default state of Firefox. Is there a way I can undo this? (I lost all my sites speed dial).

After installation auto-implementation to date this morning a dialog box appears asking you if I want to go back to its default state of Firefox. I foolishly said yes and now I lost all my Speed Dial, URLs and passwords registered thumbnails. Is there any way I can cancel it to go back to the way Firefox has been implemented and work yesterday?

No, no, unless you have backed up your Firefox profile to restore the default state.

  • How to return to my original blog design when after I updated firefox my top border changed to only go to half way through the page and a line now headed down in the middle of my blog? On other computers, not just mine.

I would like to just my blog back to its original format without line in the middle of the page and the top edge across the entire page and not only at half way. This occurred immediately after I've upgraded to Firefox 6. The format of my blog is normal on the other computers, but not normal on my computer. Thank you.

Hello Cor - el, Yes, it's my site. When I looked at my site on another computer this computer used Internet Explorer for the web, so I thought it was normal. Thank you for the information on 2/26. I have passed your info to my friend who will try to solve the problem. I'll let you know when she solved it. BMB

  • Firefox opens all tabs that were open when last closed

I am running Linux Mint 16 with 28.0 FF. FF sometimes opens all previous tabs I had open, rather than the tabs that I set to open as my home page.

I tried every solution I can find here or elsewhere on the web, including the topic: configuration settings, resetting FF, FF uninstall and re - install, check user.js four (be - something different in Linux?) file, etc.

    I did this:

    (3) Double-click browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes and change the 1 to a 0 (a zero) and OK that.

in this thread with the same problem:

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/questions/976041

and FF all re - starting with all previous open tabs.

Install Firefox V29.0 solved the FF problem opening all my previous tabs.

But now all the addresses in my URL are overshadowed by different, especially grey and black colors. Sigh. FF had a lot of work lately, and now that it looks like Chrome, I could as if well ahead using Chrome.

  • Whenever I load a file (.jpg) image in firefox, it shows a grid of tiles for the empty border. Is there a way I can change it to a solid color?

It has been a solid gray in some older versions of firefox (14 or earlier), so it must be customizable.

For now, it's showing a grid made up of squares white and cyan checkerboard.

Already tried to add "background-color: #00000;" to userchrome.css. He has nothing.

Thanks for trying to help, but I don't think that you have taken the trouble to read the question at all. Flash has no effect display jpg files because it is not even running, and do all the other plugins unless they specifically target the JPEGs

But in any case, I found a solution, if anyone has the same problem. Read the thread here.

  • Firefox is locked up on me. Is there a way to fix this.

It does more and takes about 30 seconds to get out. I searched and found 'suspended', but nothing there seems to be a problem that I can tell. He started a week ago and is getting worse all the time. It happens especially when I click on a bookmark in the toolbar. I upgraded to version 8 beta last night hoping it would help, but it's all the same. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, do you know how to correct?

  • Is there a way to create a table that creates new "lines" when enter is pressed?

    Hi all

I am trying to create a pdf file for my company to regularly use the packing list. Generally, this packing list is generated by our software, but our software was not designed primarily for delivery and purchase and lack of functionality. With complex or revised orders, we must create our own documents and I wanted to create something that could be used as a standard that reflects what the software has generated.

Thus, the document itself. Packing lists (or invoices or purchase orders, according to what is required at this time) have a number of elements arranged in a table with properties. These properties is the name of the item, description, how many rooms, the price, the size of the container, etc. Simple packing lists have three or four points that all fit on one page but larger orders have elements which extend into several pages, ending with a 'total' for all areas.

My question is, is - it possible ot create a table in Adobe Acrobat, DC format that allows me to create a dynamic array that can be extended (with additional lines) when necessary on another page or several pages? Table if it makes a difference, each page would have a header and a footer (information for the transport and logistics) for this 'dynamic' table would be sandwiched between these two areas.

    Thank you

EDIT: I've been looking around and, I hope that Adobe Acrobat DC has this feature, but it seems the best way to acchieve that is via Adobe Live Cycle Designer, which fortunately, my supervisor has a copy. This youtube video explains, in an overview, exactly what I want to do and how to do it through this program. Perhaps that will help someone in the future who also Live Cycle:

Creating robust dynamic forms in Adobe LiveCycle® - YouTube

As you have found, it's more a characteristic of the LCD and not Acrobat. It is possible to add new fields in Acrobat, but there is no "dynamic table". It must be done manually.

Another option is to create a template page with additional fields and then reproduce a copy of it when necessary.

  • Is there a way to remove the ToolTip that contains the name of the application when the cursor over the icon in the dock?

Since the upgrade to El Capitan, I noticed that the name of each application in the dock appears above the docking station in a bubble of large text when the cursor is everywhere down in the dock next to this icon of the application.  It's annoying because if I'm often pass between two or several applications, I don't want to have to keep moving the slider to the top of the screen to get the text balloons to disappear.  When the application names are present, they cover part of the screen of the app that I work.  Not sure if I remember correctly, but I thought that those who went after a period of time in older versions of OS.  I was never bothered by it as I am with El Capitan.

    Thank you all.

Not that I am aware, no.  There is nothing in the system preferences-> Dock that allows you to disable or remove this function.
