When I open firefox I get two browsers each time?
everytime I open firefox it opens two copies. If it is a link email 1 opens the link and the other opens to google which is my home page.
When you open Firefox from a shortcut on the desktop, if he opens two copies as well? If so, there's these two windows with the home page, and is it in Firefox to solve the problems in own of Firefox Safe Mode?
If the problem occurs only when you click on a link, but not when you just run Firefox from the desktop icon, please check for the issue of a new profile to see if the e-mail program can communicate with this version of Firefox properly.

I place the FireFox icon in the dock. When I click to open FireFox it opens two windows both to the homepage. When you click on a link in the email, it will open a window behind the first window rather that open in a tab. There used to be a preference re: opening links, but given that it was useful, it seems that Apple has removed this option unless it's hidden somewhere I can't find.
What you have is, in my view, two problems.

When I open Firefox, I get a page of e-mail, which is operated by Verizon. How can I eliminate this connection from Verizon? It requires me to have an account with Verizon that relates to a telephone service at my home. It is a nonsense. I'm operating an iMac with system 10.6.8.
It is possible that your ISP sends such a page in the case of certain conditions, then you may need to contact them for support.
You can check the target line in the shortcut to the Firefox desktop (right click: properties) to make sure that nothing is added after the path to the Firefox program.

When I try to learn more about Firefox, I gave instructions to click the homepage located at the top of the window as well as subsequently, click on the Menu button. I can't find the home or Menu buttons at the top of my window. How to use Firefox?
You need to contact Verizon to ask this account number.

I installed a month ago and could never make it work.
Can not find a way to uninstall itIs Watchseries an add-on or just a web page? If it's an add-on, try removing it on the page modules. Either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons
In the left column, click Extensions. (Usually if something is to open in the sidebar, it's an extension.) You can find and remove? If missing the button Delete, you can turn it off and try to uninstall through Control Panel, add/remove programs.

I have nothing special on the internet (no updates,...). I did different antivirus scans - but they found nothing. Also restart the computer did not help.
Hello KevinBeaulisch, another user that we found that this could be related to active malware on your pc. Please close all firefox windows and try to start firefox in safe mode (by pressing the SHIFT key while you start it). in firefox, safe mode go to firefox > addons > extensions and remove the entry named 'Codec v1.0' or any other addons that suspicious look and you have not intentionally installed. then see if you can restart firefox normally...
Please also make a thorough analysis of your system with the security software already in place or another tool like the free version of malwarebytes & keep firefox and your plugins up to date in order to stay safe on the web.

When I open Firefox, I get a page with Verizon and 'b' on the subject. What is c?
It's a site I've never seen before weird. I said "b is not recognized", but if I put something in the search, he rises. I'm afraid, it is a thief or turned away from the site and do not want to use it.

I did my browser Bing and it was working fine until today. When I open Firefox I get a message: Ref, then a long string of characters. I click on the Home icon and string changes. After doing this several times, I get the Bing search page. I don't get the startup of Firefox bookmark with the toolbar that has my book, history etc.. I can't clear the cache, if I can't the history tab. If I'm going to the mozilla firefox program folder and open it, there are a tool bar but can't erase recent history, etc. it. I don't have an administrator and a password on my home desktop. It's just me. I tried to follow your suggestions, but they do not apply to my situation. I don't really know if it is a firefox problem or bing. I've used google before bing and had no problems; I just wanted to try bing.

Loading Firefox, I get two pages
When I open Firefox, I get the "usual" page with Google, but for a week, an additional tabbed page load. There just a sign more broadly in the middle. When I right click on the page, it gives me the following URL address: chrome://astrmndant-a1/content/newtab/newtab.html
I've never had this happen before today. Loading on a desktop with Windows 8.1. I also have a laptop computer with the same version of Firefox and this happens. I have matched the configurations and I still have this problem.
Hello LydiaLD,
I think that one of your custom extension/add-ons is causing this problem.
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables certain parameters, disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).
When your Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button
click Help
then select restart with disabled modules.
- In previous versions of Firefox, click on the Firefox button in the upper left of the Firefox window and click help (or click on help in the Menu bar, if you do not have a Firefox button) and click on restart with disabled modules.
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.
Thank you.
- In Firefox 29,0 and above, click on the menu button
