  • When I try to create or convert a PDF file in Acrobat DC I get the error "your request could not be performed. Adobe Acrobat DC license has expired or not been activated. "This will happen even if Acrobat is installed via a Customization Wizard

When I try to create or convert a PDF file in Acrobat DC I get the error "your request could not be performed. Adobe Acrobat DC license has expired or not been activated. "This happens even if Acrobat is installed via a package of the Customization Wizard of the product which takes care of activation and the license is not expired. What could be the cause of the issue?

Uninstall your creative cloud application that basically allows you to download apps and redownload it. This should do the job. Your system just lost you license update.

  • Opening PDF files in Acrobat XI outside Chrome browser

    Acrobat XI

Google chrome, I want to open a PDF file that automatically opens outside Acrobat Chrome either within Acrobat itself.

I want first to save the PDF file, then open it.

I want Chrome to download, and then open the PDF in Acrobat.

Acrobat 9 would do that. How do you do this in Acrobat XI?

    Thanks in advance.

    Windows 7 Pro 64-bit SP1

    Chrome version 37.0.2062.103 m

    V11.0.08 Acrobat XI

    Browser Chrome & Acrobat

"To have Chrome to download a PDF file rather than display them in the browser,

Shift-click on disable to the currently active Viewer.

That leaves the two plug-ins Viewer disabled so that PDF files is displayed in the browser. »

There are two plugins specified via 'chrome://plugins/ '.

    Adobe Reader - Version: 11.0.8.4

Adobe PDF plugin for Firefox and Netscape 11.0.8

One plugin can be activated at the same time.

If you clear one, the other is automatically activated.

    This behavior is not intuitive.

If either is selected, the PDF file is displayed in the Chrome browser.

To open a PDF file in Acrobat XI outside the Chrome browser, you must disable two plugins.

To disable two plugins, Shift-click on disable the plugin active.

    This will disable two plugins.

Using shift + click on disable isn't intuitive behavior.

Now when you click on a PDF file on a web page, the Chrome browser will not have a plugin to manage the PDF file, so it will bring up a dialog box record.

Go ahead and save the PDF file somewhere like downloads.

The Chrome browser will show at the bottom of the browser window, a reference to the downloaded PDF file.

In the drop-down list, select "open this type of file.

A PDF open in Acrobat XI outside the browser Chrome.

  • parameters for opening pdf files in acrobat to chrome

Are there SPECIFIC instructions for dhrome in 48.0xxxx chrome settings to allow double-clicks on pdf icons to open the pdf in adobe acrobat dc?  Is Yes, please provide a link.  If this isn't the case, please confirm. THX

    Hi ri1246,

There is no setting to open the PDF file of the web link directly in the Acrobat Reader application. Either you can activate the PDF viewer plugin in the web browser to open the PDF in the browser itself by a simple click, you can download the PDF file on the system & then open it using the Reader app.

  • I can't resize the pdf file using acrobat CC, any help please?

Hi guys, I am trying to download a pdf file in an application for visa online, but it consists in asking me to use distiller adobe instead of pdf online sites from resizing. I have Acrobat DC, but it doesn't do anything when I click in the resizing option in Save as.

OK, you can try to reduce the size of the file to save as options of Acrobat (file size reduced to simple, optimized PDF for more control).

Of course. It cannot succeed sometimes, for example if there are photos that have too much detail, for example.

What happens when you try? And what kind of discount Miss do you?

You are running Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, Norton or McAfee? If you run one of those, she didn't have Defender. It's good, not bad. Not only is there potential conflict, but there is no reason to have both; basically to have something very similar to the built-in Defender, and both running at a time will be your performance level and create the risk of problems that are contrary to the other.

  • Changes of association of PDF files using Acrobat after installed Acrobat

    Hello

I packed a silent installation of Acrobat Professional X by using the Customization Wizard.  We make the player the default viewer (without the help of a script after the installation).  No matter which option to choose for the default viewer in the customization tool (as shown below), Acrobat Professional X becomes the default display.  I'm trying to add or change the Installer database table so that he leaves the current association with the reader.

    Any ideas?
