  Just outside, thought somehow the default Thunderbird start page changed to accuweather.com - under tools/options and then on the general tab. I noticed this and you click on restore by default and now the body of my messages are load correctly. Weird - I guess that since he tried to load a Web page he crapped the body text and loading nothing. Who knows - just happy with his work and maybe help someone else with this problem!

  If it helped to solve the problem, then you can delete the renamed file cert8.db.old.
  Otherwise you can rename (or copy) the file cert8.db.old to cert8.db to restore previous intermediary certificates.
  Firefox automatically records the intermediate certificates when you visit Web sites that send such a certificate.

  If that didn't help then remove or rename secmod.db (secmod.db.old) as well.

  Don't know what's happening, you do not give a lot of information, but if you have the constant beachballing (spinning wait cursor), which could mean that the hard drive is dying.

  Open Console.app in Applications > utilities. Filter, called "String Matching," right, high enter "I/o" without the quotes. What happens when you do this?

  Thank you for your answer, I thought about it.  Location of file and assets was exactly the problem.  The designer who was working on the updates on the site did not realize that the Muse has been saved locally instead of on our server where they are located.
