  Hi, I have all the software installed on this computer and have even updated before firefox. now, by clicking on the tab "check for updates" I get the above message.   If he has problems with the update or the permissions then simpler is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.

  I can't see the left side of the screen to answer.  That setting can do so sometimes, in the middle of the screen.

  You see enough to recover the blue banner at the top and drag it? If so, after clicking on answer, close all windows other than to this one via the taskbar. The drag and resize with the cursor and when it is correct, close the window. Windows will remember the size of a window, but only if it's the last window closed.

  I noticed that when I reply to an e-mail message that has been received in response to a message sent by my pseudonym, Outlook Express chooses automatically from my default e-mail account and not that I used initially and that the response answered.  I hope this makes sense.
  I'm fairly certain that before you reinstall OE, if I received a response to an email I sent using my pseudonym account, OE automatically choose the pseudonym account to meet with and NOT the default e-mail account.

  About your Yahoo mail, you should be able to switch your view so that your incoming message display only in the Inbox, and sent messages show only in the folder "sent".

  Mouse over the gear on the right icon, choose settings, category "look at an email", the first checkbox allows to turn off conversation view.

  If you touch CTRL-A you will highlight all characters in the message.  If you then press any character, it will replace what is highlighted by this character.  It is a plausible explanation for what you are experiencing.  Be careful if you type a capital A and use the SHIFT key CTRL pressed.
