Cannot add music to a video in Windows Movie Maker
I used Windows Movie Maker to create movies and I tried to add a MP3 to a photo slideshow, and he suddenly decided to not work when adding music to a Slideshow photo had worked the last time, I tried. I have since then restarted my computer several times, and each time it doesn't always work as it had before. When I slide the .mp3 to the slide show and try to play, it has no sound at all. My speakers are on, I have troubleshooted for this. The works of .mp3 when played in a music player (iTunes), it just plays then in Windows Movie Maker. Before the audio tracks, a way of seeing sound waves - where the sound was loud and soft, but recently those too are gone, and that's what I think the problem is. It would be nice if it was a track that wouldn't play, but I tried it again with the track that worked previously, and is no longer work or the other and all other .mp3 files I put in there do not work either. What can I do to make this work?

Hello.
I used Windows Movie Maker 6.0 for about a month now to make videos and then upload them to YouTube.I had no problems at all until a few days before, when Vista says it wants to install an update (Service Pack 2), so it installed and then came up on Windows Movie Maker and when I tried to make a video, the preview screen was black and you could only hear the sound (no video). The clips are a gesture of challenge of the .avi files, but when I put them in Windows Movie Maker, they turn into audio files for some reason any! :(Please help I need solve this problem as soon as possible!Thank youdouglabeOpen the Device Manager by following the steps in the first link I provided in the previous answer, and then expand the graphicsoption. Your graphics driver is listed under this category. If you double click the driver that is on the list, it will open the driver properties dialog box. You can go to the driver tab it and then click on the option to restore the drivers to roll your graphics driver back and see if this helps you.
You can also uninstall and reinstall the driver from there. To reinstall the driver, you will need to download it from the website of the manufacturer of the computer.
It will be useful.

downloaded videos in Windows Movie Maker
view video clips online
Videos require Dvix and I have version 8.0 download full. The last time I used this same download / display, three weeks or so, it was no problem. When the download is finished and I select open, who in the past played the clip, open Windows Movie Maker and I get the message that WMM cannot download / play clip. In the last WMM did not open. The clip has just played full screen. I think that all cookies settings are correct. Have no idea what may be the issue. Would appreciate any help.

Why will not post any kind of video format Windows Movie Maker?
I have a video project together over but when I click 'save to computer' and go through it, he starts to publish but stick to 1% or 2%. I tried just to publish a still image (JPEG) that works. I added a voice on the video image, published again very well. Then added an mp3 which is used throughout the project, which publishes perfectly too. Add a video file, however, freezes it. I tried to break the project down into third to check that it is not "too complex" that didn't work and now even in the sixth that don't work as.
I tried using videos MP4, AVI and WMV, but nothing to do with a video clip will release.I am running vista and movie maker 2.6.
(And ive also tried to put the project on a Win7 computer and who publishes but the same file wont open (all files component also transferred to 2nd pc))I am incredibly frustrated with this now so please, any help would be appreciated!
I was wondering why you are running Movie Maker 2.6?
Do you have Vista Movie Maker 6 enforcement issues? What is the duration of the project? Long and complex projects
can be problematic. More short projects (as you have already discovered)
are generally more successful.MP3 files can be problematic... conversion. WMA peut
be worth a try.The. WMV video format is the best choice, and you already

Canon HV30 HDV Capture Issues Firewire in Win 7 (64-bit)
There seems to be a problem with Windows 7 (64 bit) in the HD video capture from a Canon HV30 on I.Link (firewire). The camera is detectable, but I am unable to capture videos HD using Windows Movie Maker or Cyberlink Power Director. All the drivers and the software updated.
Same camera, same editing works very well under Win XP.
Someone at - he a workarouonds?
(1) the question arose on January 20, 2010, when I got my new computer (Dell XPS 9000) WIN 7 (64-bit) and I first tried to capture video, I had already shot with the Canon Vixia HV - 30.
(2) the updated capture in place according to the manual of Canon, using the firewire interface to download video using Power Director 7 or Windows Movie Maker.
-Power Director 7 is able to detect and control the camera, however once the capture begins an error message appears saying that the i-link on the camera mode is not compatible with the Strip to be captured. Verified media is HDV (60i) and playback camera settings are all correct.
-Windows Moview Maker is able to detect and control the camera, however, no video is captured and no error message appears.
(3) will try to reinstall the drivers for the HV30.
