When I right click, the same context menu opens (menu hyperlinks, with "Open link in a new tab", etc.) no matter what/where I do a right-click.
No matter where I right click on a webpage displayed (NOT the bar menu at the top of the screen), in computer text highlighted, a white spot in a Web page, or whatever it is, the shortcut menu for a hyperlink appears upward (with options to open it in a new tab, window or private (, bookmarking), and none of these options actually do anything, even if it is a hyperlink, I'm clicking. With the help of shortcuts like Ctrl + click on work very well. I have not recently installed plug-ins, and it only started a few hours ago. Wat do I do?
Try disabling Firebug and see how it is.

When I right click on a link 'Open link in a new tab"for a few days, he"jumps"tab to the right and opens in the tab beside it. How can I change this back to the opening in the tab next to the page, hence I open as it used to be?
Just to add to the response of cor - el, in my case (identical) was specifically the complement DivX HiQ, worm 2.1.0.900. As soon as I turned it off, the tabs started to behave normally again.

Open link in a new tab function when Middle-click there just disappeared.
Hello! Open link in a new tab function when Middle-click there just disappeared; now, when I Middle - click on the link, nothing happens - no new tab, just nothing! It comes not with a mouse, I tried another mouse and it's average click and even in other browsers works; Right click and 'Open link in a new tab' (as well as other options menu) to work correctly. No idea what happened? Thank you!
You can have an add-on which interferes with middle-click behavior. To test this try the procedure described in article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

How to make "Open link in a new tab" back to the second line after "open"?
I've recently upgraded to FF4.0, but I'm so used to opening new tabs by right-clicking on a link and selecting "Open link in a new tab" instinctively moving a notch and clicking on it in the second selection. New FF4.0 there for the first option. Is there anyway to reposition?
You can reposition it using the editor from Menu Add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/menu-editor/

Opening links in a new tab will also load the link on the problem of temporamental currnt tab that comes and goes. Sometimes using links from google as well. Never had this problem before. Also the SafeSearch feature on google has itself locked on strict, not too much problem, but has happened at the same time my links and tabs not working like I want.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

Change the default color of Firefox opening links in a new tab
I use stylish addon for Firefox with a dark default css. I also changed the default window colors in the Windows registry. This changed the subject: white page to a dark color. But when I open a link in a new tab before the page is loaded, Firefox displays a blank page with a white background. I wonder how to change the white color to another.

When I click on the sign more to open a tab, and even when I go to 'File' and then 'New tab' nothing happens. The only way I can get a new tab to open is by right-clicking on a link. I tried to close and restart the browser and even restart my computer. Nothing helps. Firefox did an update this morning, would it be a problem of who?

The title of the question pretty much explains the problem.
EDIT: "Open Link in New Window" works very well, as by clicking on a link or bookmark to switch from one tab to the linked page.
"Reload Tab" does nothing. The page loads only when I stop and reload.
Sorry to bother you, but I think I just solved the problem.
In the last three days I closed & restarted Firefox several times and stop & restarted my computer twice without solving the problem, but I just started, open Firefox in mode without failure, then closed & restarted Firefox and "link in new window open" seems now function normally.
Now I feel like a fool for not trying that before asking the question.

The middle button does not open links in a new tab.
If your only solution is to tell me:
1 restart my computer
2. start Firefox in safe mode
3. use an another keyboard shortcut to open a new tab that isn't the central button of the mouse.Even bother replying. As I did the first two and it makes no difference and the 3rd option is a solution to everything.
It's frustrating and I'm a little upset that after reading 20 + Pages of the same problem of 2011 that there are no answers.
I'm on a new installation of Windows XP (yes I know old school) with firefox version 27.0.1.
COR - El I made everyone everyone else offered on all of the other forums.
I plugged my mouse on another computer and it worked fine. Then allows me to know its either something fishy with firefox or my computer.
That I wrote that I discovered what my problem was. But I'm not sure why. I'll explain here in case someone else has a similar problem.
If I Middle click on + hold click here for a solid second on the link, it will open a new tab.
It just seems like there is a huge delay in my middle mouse click speed on this system.
Either passing I'll discuss this further on my own. I appreciate all of your time.

I can't open links in a new tab after the last update
On some Web sites where links automatically open in a new tab, such as Gmail, etc, the tabs are empty and they all have this strange in the field address:
jar:file:///C:/program%20Files/Mozilla%20firefox/Omni.ja!/chrome/browser/content/browser/newtab/newTab.XUL
On Gmail, not a single link to work properly, all the links of the black bar, (Documents, calendar etc.) and links in emails, they are always open like that. It has never happened in previous versions of Firefox.
I'll be grateful for any help...P.S. I did not installed Ask.com toolbar and never had...

This happens not all the time, but it often happens. I right click and click on something, say save the image under or tonight was to add to the dictionary and it will stay on the screen after the action has been completed. I have to restart the computer so that it can get and it remains on all screens. It seems to happen when I'm on Facebook and any browser that I use. The image below shows what happened tonight. Thank you
Jyslinn

The Office has a Windows XP Home Edition and the laptop has Windows 7 Home.
It is possible that you have a problem with some Add on Firefox which is an obstacle to the normal behavior of your Firefox. Have you tried to disable all add-ons (just to see) to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you must make sure that it is not caused by one (or more) of your installed modules, whether an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do this easily and cleanly, start Firefox in safe mode (remember to select disable all add-ons when you start safe mode). If the problem goes away, you know that it's an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode and allow them one by one until you find the source of the problem. See this article for more information on troubleshooting extensions and themes and this one for plugins.
If you need help with one of your modules, you will need to contact the author.
If the problem does not disappear when all add-ons are disabled, please tell me, so we can work from there. Please be afraid not to follow my instructions to the line, as everything can be easily undone.
