  If a problem does not occur when it is started in safe mode, then you have already determined that the problem was isolated to a few 3rd party software running on your Mac.  Take a look at the information below to start with the removal of some elements of start-up and connection and see if the problem persists:

  Test your login items

  1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click users and groups.

  2. Click on your account under the current user name, and then click connection points.

     Make a list of the login items, you will need to remember later.

  3. Select all the elements of connection, and then click the button Delete .

  4. Choose the Apple menu > restart.

  5. If this solves the problem, reopen the preferences users and groups, add the elements of connection one at a time and restart your Mac after the addition of each of them.

     If the problem persists, follow the steps above to remove only the last element of connection that you added.

• Firefox window becomes invisible when I try to restore the window size (larger works very well)

  When I run Firefox, the window is invisible. Maximize it works, but when I try to restore it to the previous size it becomes invisible.

  I had this problem with other applications, and then it was the position of the stored window which was damaged.

  I looked in the registry to see if the position of the window is stored there, but could not find it there.

  You can use JavaScript to fix the problem and Firefox 7.0.1 did move or resize windows with JavaScript almost impossible. You can configure your bookmark and change in about: config then only magnified, but you will need to read the notes at the bottom of the article about Firefox 7.

  The symptom is on the initial connection, the second monitor is not same display and the primaries to the resolution no standard. Try to whittle down where it is. PCoIP server log shows that APEX is only used for one of the monitors, which is not good. Later connections show using Apex for two.   I tried to pair my new Motorola SF600 bluetooth stereo headset so I could listen to and control Windows Media Player with my helmet. When I matched the device with the Microsoft Bluetooth driver has been installed, the service of the helmet was not available and troubleshoot message recommended that I upgrade to the Broadcom Widcomm driver. I followed all the instructions, downloaded the latest Widcomm driver and installed. Then I restarted the computer. I could see the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar, but it was red and not white (or blue). When I clicked it, it just says adapter lights up, I did. As soon as I hit this button, the bluetooth icon disappears and no bluetooth connection is possible. When I look in the bluetooth properties and the properties of the driver, I see the message "device cannot start (10). I searched all over the web a possible solution and the closest thing, I found was a fix article talking about a fix for bluetooth adapters that cannot start. I asked the fix and tried to apply it, but whenever I try to run it, it gives the message that it is not applicable to my computer. I wish you a few recommendations for how to fix this. Please let me know if you need more information about the devices or anything else. Bluetooth dongle is a mini Logitech BT which came bundled with the combo keyboard and mouse MX-5000. He is old enough, but he gave me always excellent service under Windows XP.

  Thanks for the advice, but I came to the conclusion that Windows 7 does not support the advanced features of this particular Logitech Bluetooth adapter. Windows XP takes to load them entirely, but for some reason any Windows 7 isn't. From Logitech Web site States expressly that the Bluetooth adapter supplied with my keyboard and mouse will not support anything other than a mouse and a keyboard, which is unfortunate. I don't know why, but there you have it. I'm giving up now.

• Why do I get VISA code error-1073807202 when you try to connect the PXI-2565?
