  You can try to install in compatibility mode and see if this will help; about the only other thing is you go on the game manufacturer and see if they have nothing else, you can try. It's perhaps the game just won't work in windows 8. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

After that I ran these anti-virus programs and remove viruses, I was not able to open any more virus scanners. Every time I tried, would open a window saying "Choose the program you want to use to open this file." If I try to download a new virus scanner, it says the same thing.

I checked this file on my c: drive\system 32 and see the rundll.exe file. I also copy and pasted the file rundll.exe my CD of Windows XP in c: Windows\System32
