Error message when you try to burn a cd of Media Player 11.
I had a computer crash, last winter and had to have the hard drive on my computer wiped and rebuilt. I have w/service pack 3 for Windows xp. My media player has been updated to 11. I restored my music from my backup disks and imported into my windows media player 11 library. . I tried to burn a cd of songs in my library, 11. All the songs have been downloaded from Cd, I have owned or purchased from a line originally store. I was the first to send a message to digital media rights, then I got a message that they could not determine the length of the song and suggested playing them, then transfer to a burn list. I did this and still get the message on the length and the DRM rights. I had no problem with it before the crash, I was able to burn CDs with ease. When I'm viewing my library all the listed music has song lengths, so this message confuses me. What can be done to fix this?
Make sure that you logged in as an administrator and use Internet Explorer to go to http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite/nl/indivit.asp for the upgrade of security.
If this does not work either, create a new user account in Control Panel, log on to this account and try to perform the security upgrade it.
