Playing with the buttons on the front of your monitor after your computer has been for a while (to warm up) and set it so that the screen is filled

Or, check your screen resolution settings: clic click right on a free space of your desktop, choose Properties, go to settings, increase your screen resolution, also check your drivers to see if they need to be updated.

Depends on what you used for the backup.

If you used the windows backup or another backup software will contain the entire disk will be a backup file, and view/use this file, you use the same software that allows you to save.

    Hi KarenSellers,

-What is the exact and complete verbatim of the error message that you receive? Thanks for mentioning the same thing with the error code that is displayed with the blue screen.

Method 1: Try to start your computer in Mode safe mode and check if Windows loads successfully.

Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

Check out this link to do the same thing:

Method 2: Use the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool to check if there is an error with the memory.

Refer to the section "using the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool" from the link given below for the same:

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

It sounds as if 'something' is corrupt. This can be the result of an add-on, or it could be that reinstall Firefox will help. Here are a few suggestions of diagnostic:

First, make a backup of your computer for more security. For backup of Firefox, see back up your information.

Then, try to start Firefox in Firefox
Safe mode. Be sure to not "reset" anything permanently if you have no back upward.

    Hello

If you use a MicroSoft Keyboard that uses Itellipoint is how and others probably
    are similar.

Keyboard configuration panel - the key settings tab - scroll to Volume +/-/ Mute and double-click
on it (or highlight with a click and then click CONFIGURE) - uncheck Display Volume and Mute
Status on screen - APPLY / OK

Your Volume bar is probably a utility Dell or provided by your keyboard manufacturer. Check with Dell
Support, online documentation, their forums as well as the manufacturer of keyboard if not a Dell utility.

  • Laptop Dell XPS 13 L322X: 8 beeps start after replacing the screen

    Hi all

I have laptop computer Dell XPS 13 L322X (serial number: CC2YVW1).  I use an external monitor because the screen is flickering with vertical lines and ghosts of the colors. I've updated the Bios and the driver video and tried the diagnostic mode (power and the D - key... and) without success.

I just bought a new replacement compatible screen but the I cannot start using the new form and meeting the 8 beeps are heard. I tried to start with the external monitor and using power on the laptop with the D key, the new screen of the laptop began to switch colors four times and return the sound signal.

I tried to disconnect the battery and the AC power and maintain the power to drain the left stored energy from capacitors without success.

Thanks in advance for your help,

    Sala

In this case, return the set of sieves of replacement - it's probably the cable is bad (but since it is an integral part of the screen, the set should be replaced.
