  A few days ago my computer started not to wake sleep cycle.  It goes into hibernation and don't wake up with a jerk of the mouse or by pressing the buttons on the keyboard.  I put the display to sleep for 4 hours and 30 minutes, but she falls asleep before 4 hours are rising and then don't wake up upward.  I have to press the button for a few seconds to do to turn off and then restart.  If I press a button on the screen when the computer is in standby it gives me a message that the signal of the computer has been lost.  Anyone has any ideas how to solve this problem?

  Look at all the features associated with sleep and ensure that it is only sleeping and not hibernate.

  Some computers sleep mode will not let you wake up mouse etc. You have to push short s to the power Witch (as mentioned above by WillTel).

  When I select a box in Photoshop CS6, can I deselect is more by clicking outside the box.  My ToolTip displays the cross with the sign at the bottom right to indicate I'm in additive mode.  I can do a right-click to display a menu drop-down and choose "deselect", but it's a drag that interrupts the flow of my thought and annoys me so much.  I tried to go to the preferences and ensuring that the slider is 'standard '. I have reset my preferences. Without ceiling locked, etc.. What is going on?  More importantly, how can I ensure that all I have to do is to click outside the selection to deselect.  I work on a Mac, if that makes a difference. I'd appreciate any help here.  Thank you.

  I need have the selection mode set to new selection in the options toolbar to make it work.

  Or Cmd + D to deselect.

  Every time I close Firefox and try restarting my computer leaves a message that I have Firefox running and that it does not and must be closed.   You can check if it is useful when you can start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the shift/Options key.

  I have a slide with a scenario and four option buttons, of which three are good options. I would like that the learner to click on the correct three buttons, which each give comments, before the continue"" button. I have scripted an advanced action to show that the key to continue only after all three keys user has clicked. For some reason any, when I saw the project continuous slide without interruption after I click on the first button. All the buttons are set to show a hidden legend and break after 2 seconds. How can I set up my calendar to (a) allow for the learner to decide which buttons to click and (b) a break long enough to allow him to make that decision? I am using Captivate 5.5, incidentally.

  I am sure that I am doing the equivalent of Captivate to forget to wear one, but I'm unfortunately stuck. Thanks for any help you can give me!

  Hi Krista,

  I think your buttons have the same point of suspension, and given that the sequence is not imposed which is logical. But when you click on a button, the normal behavior is that the playhead continues. Can you please post a screenshot of the timeline and your advanced action? Maybe you need to go back the playback head. I call this micro-navigation and blog about it:

  ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

  ·         Is the SD card reader built into the computer or is connected via USB?

  Follow these methods.

  Method 1: Refresh the Device Manager before restarting the computer to see if the drive icon is back. Use the option ""look for changes on the hardware.". Follow these steps:

  (a) click Start, type Device Manager , start the search box and press on enter.

  (b) right click on the SD card and click scan for hardware changes.

  Method 2: If it is connected via USB, then uninstall and reinstall the drivers of USB bus controller. Follow these steps:

  a. click Start, click run, type sysdm.cpl in the Open box and then click OK.

  b. click on the hardware tab.

  c. click the Device Manager button.

  d. expand Bus USB controllers.

  e. right click on each device under the Bus USB controllers node and then click on uninstall to remove them one at a time.

  f. restart the computer and reinstall the USB controllers.

  g. plug in the removable USB storage device and perform a test to ensure that the problem is solved.
