Original title: rundll.exe error

Hi all

I have a problem with my file rundll.exe. When you change any personalsettings such as theme, display, screen saver or any of those things I get the warning: "cannot find C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe file. Check if you have entered the correct name, and then try again. "(Sorry for any incorrect translation. I have a Dutch version of Windows).

Is there anyone who can help me with this problem? I searched on several forums, but no luck so far.
If it helps, I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 BIT

Rgds,
Robert

    I checked the previous messages and can't seem to find a solution to this problem.  Recently I ran 3 different scans, i.e. sbybot, avast and Malawarebytes virus. After that I ran these anti-virus programs and remove viruses, I was not able to open any more virus scanners. Every time I tried, would open a window saying "Choose the program you want to use to open this file." If I try to download a new virus scanner, it says the same thing.

    When I try to open the Control Panel, add or remove programs, a window appears saying "C:Windows\system32\rundll32.exe Application not found. I checked this file on my c: drive\system 32 and see the rundll.exe file. I also copy and pasted the file rundll.exe my CD of Windows XP in c: Windows\System32

    Everything else seems to work fine on my computer, and I get no message on the rundll.exe file when the computer starts up first.

    Try the following to "scrub" your machine HP printing software. This should clean your computer so that you can re - install the printer as if it was never installed previously. Sometimes this solves problems with the driver.

    Of the Original installation CD:

    1. Insert the CD in the drive and then cancel Setup

    2. open my computer and click right then on the CD from the drive and select open

    3 open the Util folder

    4 open the CCC folder

    http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/

    9 download drivers and full software features

    Photosmart C7280 Full Feature software (Windows 7)

    10. run the download to reinstall the printer

    If the software has been downloaded and extracted to your system:

    1. type % temp % in the field of race

    2. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

    I've seen this posted here, but nobody has ever had a response, so I'll ask him again.  When I first installed Vista, Chess Titans worked well recently, however, I get the following message at startup: texture is not found

    (Media/TableWood.dds)

    Each is repeated twice, and then click the final, the application closes.

    From: Brock

    Pretty easy fix;

    (1) you must enable "Show the hidden files and folders" in Folder Options View tab. (Instructions to do this are drawn from the research "Help and Support" for "hidden files")

    2) open Explorer and navigate to;

    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft Games\Chess Titans

    User %%Nom is, of course, your own windows user name

    (3) change ChessTitans.xml; (Right click on the file and select Edit)

    Change X (X is any number of other then 0) to

    0

    Save and close the titans of chess early file in program menu.  It seems that this error occurs when you set the graphics quality on the highest setting allowing the option "smooth edges".
