  I understand that whenever you print photos of the Photos on your Mac app, the lines appear in the printed image resulting.  The following steps will help isolate the matter with Photos or the printer itself.  To start, please print one of the photographs from the Photos app to confirm a specific photo translates into lines on the printed copy.  After seeing the photo, please export the original photo of the Photos app on your desktop, open the photo in the preview and then print this photo.

  Export pictures in their original format

  1. Select the photos you want to export.

  2. Choose file > export > export Original unmodified.

  3. Click Export.

  4. Choose where to save the exported photo files and then click Export the originals.

  Recently, I noticed that when I open an image in windows photo viewer, there is way to much contrast than usual. I tried to play with my display settings, and it solves nothing. I also noticed that when I open the picture in photoshop, it shows good contrast, but when opening the same photo with Photo Viewer, there is a lot of contrast. This problem also goes for the images on firefox.

  Check that you are doing the default Windows Photo Viewer.

  Try the steps below; It could help us solve the problem.

  1. open default programs by clicking the Start button.

  2. click on Control Panel, and then click default programs.

  3. set your default programs. This option allows to choose the programs that Windows uses by default.

  4. Select Windows Photo Viewer in the list and click Set this program as default.

  5. try to access photo and check if it opens with the Windows Photo Viewer.

Sony offers a software play memories, but I don't want to download and use yet another software package when all I want to do is rotate images before sharing them with family and friends. If I rotate the images before sharing them, my family / friends would have to download the software of memories play in order to rotate/edit? I tried not to actually change the photos again, which could also be a problem. I tend to return the camera. Thank you

  Please check the image properties and uncheck [read-only] only then try to rotate the image or rotate the image using Microsoft Paint.
