  (b) uninstall the software and drivers on the computer

  (c) plug the printer back

  (d) allow the Hardware Wizard search for drivers

  e) if it does not, it asks you to install the source for the drivers, the installation driver CD and install the drivers and see if that helps.

  This problem occurs when the agent Windows Update Wups2.dll file is incorrectly registered in the registry. Because registry files that correspond to the Wups2.dll file are missing, update facilities have failed.
