1. When did you start to question?

2. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?

Step 1:

You can check in safemode, if the problem occurs.

Check out the link:

Start your computer in safe mode

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

Step 2:

You can also check the following link and try to download the Microsoft Safety Scanner and perform a full scan on your computer and check.

Note: When you perform the analysis, there are risks of data loss you can take a backup of important data before performing analysis.

I am running windows 7 64 bit on my PC. I don't know what I did, but whenever I try to open the preimere, window leaves me hanging around, I get the chime sound you hear when there is a secondary command window open, I guess it's one who wants me to set up the stage for editing. However as the window opens with only the visible upper part, I know exactly, what is happening. I can't close it or fix it or move it. I hit the return key, which causes the closure but that baffles me too much from the program.

So right now I'm unable to use the program. I tried to install the last update, but I think that its just something that I screwed up the last time that I used it.

  • C:Windows/system32/rundll32.exe - Application not found - OK__I get this error message when you try to open a program

Error messages occur now - seem to appear now, after I did a Defrag.  If I try to open AOL, it brings me to a display list who wants to choose from a list of programs.  For AOL, I click on AOL.  I didn't used to have to select from a list of display.  Then I tried to open an Astrology program and it took me to the same list, which of course is not.  Now, I get the same error as follows: C:Windows/system32/rundll32.exe - Application not found - OK

    Here's a Plan:

Goto, start system restore restore Menu\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System

Now select the oldest Restore Point and restore your computer, but first make sure that you have an external drive.

After that C:\Windows\System32\Rundll32.exe copy the external drive and the disc is ejected

Open the system restore and undo restore

After the undo operation is copy the Rundll32.exe in the road to C:\Windows\System32

    and the problem solved

Note: the rundll32.exe should be missed recently and you should have an old Restore Point which contains a file Rundll32.exe Intact

  • Microsoft's Jet in Win7 database error when you try to open a program

    Running Windows 7 Ultimate

We have two programs that are essential to our activities, making use of files using file extensions <.mdb>and <.dld>.

We have not used a program for a few weeks and now Windows Update, updates including Service Pack 1 installed.

Later, I opened one of the programs, and he opened with a window in the middle of it which announced:

It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data. >

I looked at the file in the program folder and its icon is passed under vacuum to show as a Microsoft Jet db file. So I changed it to associate only with the program who tried to open it. Then I tried again and got the following error:

It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data. >

I tried to re - associate the <.dld>but it did not.

Last thing I tried was to open the same program and files on a laptop as we go out to workplaces. He worked as always. I looked at the <.mdb>extension and its icon was/is always empty. This laptop has downloaded and installed the updates today, but still is to be restarted - that I have not done. I guess they are the same updates.

I have heard of problems with SP 1... What is a likely culprit? Should I try a system restore? Or is it perhaps something else?

  • When you try to open windows mail it says "Windows Mail has stopped working". The error code is COOD1198. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Download updates for

There was a problem with that caused it to stop working correctly.

Your computer may run out of updates that can help improve its stability and security.

Go online to search for and install the Important updates and recommended.

    1. Click here to access the Windows Update Web site online

    2. In the left pane, click check for updates. If updates are found, click view available updates.

    3. Select all important updates and then click install. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

      Note
If you have activated the automatic update, you can not see important updates listed. If this is the case, the updates have already been downloaded to your computer.

I am aware of the windows updates.

Try to compact and repair the database and see if it suits it.  See www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/

Also be aware of the problems caused by the installation of IE9: see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#15
