  If you have reinstalled the OEM of Vista Business copy on the new hard drive, as Bill says you can't also use it in a virtual machine.

  You can only reuse your OEM of Vista professional copy if it is no longer used on the computer. Do you have what operating system installed on the new hard drive? It was an upgrade copy or complete the license?

  If you used a license to upgrade to another edition of Windows to replace your copy of company then Vista Business license is still in use (for upgrade) and you cannot reuse it in your virtual machine.

  However if you replaced Vista business with a copy of the full license of another edition then you are able to use the OEM copy in a virtual machine, but only on the same computer. You must use the product key from COA to the label on the computer. The product key is put in the copy OEM cannot find the SLIC table on the host motherboard. You must use the phone activation from within the virtual machine. Click on start in Vista Business and typing "slui 4. Do not meet the audio guests until it asks you if you want to speak to an agent. Explain that you have completely replaced the OEM copy with a copy of the full license of the new windows and now want to use the OEM copy in a virtual machine on the same computer.   To me that sounds more like a keyboard failure, I can't imagine that it could be linked to the question of the windows operating system do you have tested an external USB keyboard.

  Please test this. In this case, you can check if it s really a software problem.
  If the USB keyboard works correctly, it means that your internal keyboard is malfunctioning.

• No bass when you use the docking station to not probe

  When I use the out port of my docking station (Series edited by moderator) I get no bass sound, just hail my wide range speaker. When the speakers are plugged into the headphone jack directly on the laptop it normal sound, with a full range of sounds. I checked the setting in the CP of its speakers are identified as the range, so this isn't the issue. There is no sound improvement enabled in Control Panel SRS. I'm puzzled. Why no bass when you use the docking station only. I tried two different docking stations with the same result: no bass.

  • Go to the control panel
  • Choose the material and audio

  or simply to display all Control Panel items

  • Select SRS Premium Sound Pro (it's an icon of circle blue/white)
  • Wait for the program to come black EQ
  • Select the tab/words "listening experience" near the top of the window of SRS Premium Sound PRO
  • Uncheck the 'improvement of Audio '.

  Fact

  In addition, there is the graphic equalizer in there that totally works well to further fine tune your desired speaker and the audio preference.

  I googled the question of fun and learned you can hit CTRL + Alt + an arrow key to change the direction of the display on the monitor.  Pressing on the same new keys cancels the function.  I must have accidentally done to create the mess in the first place.

  I've done the same thing if I had rebooted the system.

• "The product key does not work with this edition of Windows 7", but I have not changed anything

  Suddenly this week 7 Windows has stopped working and the error message said I might have a non-genuine copy, etc.   I checked the product key by using the Start/computer/properties menu. The product key was not the same as on my PC, so I tried to get the right version. Then I got the error message that you have entered the product key will not work with this edition of Windows 7, and I want to run Windows 7 set up or enter a professional product key.

  I saw that someone else had been advised to run MGADiag.exe so I've already did but am puzzled by the report.  And I'm worried, why me nice Acer desktop PC suddenly did that, when he had worked happily with normal updates etc.  The report shows a different product to the label of my PC key.
