Whenever I close firefox, my computer hangs for a few minutes and I can't use it

Since the upgrade to Firefox 10 and later upgrade, when I connect on firefox, my desk is totally insensitive and then after a few minutes working normally again. I use Vista and has not had the problem with earlier versions.

Thanks cor - el your solution certainly improve things, in the end, I completely uninstalled firefox (with revo to delete the registry entries as well), then did a new facility, which has cured the problem.

Please see recommended settings of WiFi routers and access Apple points.

Despite these recommendations, some routers will work better with the latest Mac models if you turn the radio 2.4 GHz mode in settings and only use the 5 GHz. Note, however, that very old devices Apple and some third-party devices can then not connect at all.

Some third party routers have advanced that you may need to change the settings:

The encryption algorithm must be AES.

The group key interval must be 3200.

I can't give you specific instructions on how to change these settings, because all routers are different. Refer to the documentation for the provider.

  • Satellite L350D works for a few minutes and then stop completely

    Hi all!

I'm having a weird problem with my laptop Satellite L350D-216
I have used for a long time in a row and is starting to show some strange vertical lines on the screen and the kind of activity let go and then it went completely black
Since then if I disconnect and leave it for a few hours switches normally and work for 5/10 minutes and turns black again.
It happens after I worked on it for about 20 hours straight or Yes (can be linked)

    What I tried:
    -Turn on with battery only
-Turn on only with the ca
-Remove all and to hold off key for 1 min and then try again the two above

When it comes on everything seems to work 100% without problem but don't lasts no more than 10 minutes as I said

    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance

I can't say for sure, but the problem may be material high temperature. Satellite L350D is not the latest model cell phone and if you use enough difficult I guess laptop is full of dust and cannot be properly cooled.

Maybe the laptop needs to be cleaned.
    > When it lights up everything seems to be working 100% without problem, but does not last more than 10 minutes as I said
One more thing: do the quick test. Start your laptop and enter the BIOS settings. Leave it for a while and check if the same thing will happen again.

  • When I close Firefox my computer says it is still ongoing and I have to restart my computer to get Firefox to run... This is a first for me.

Every time I close Firefox and try restarting my computer leaves a message that I have Firefox running and that it does not and must be closed. The problem is that it is not a Firefox always running, therefore, it is impossible to close and therefore impossible to open it. I used all forms of Firefox and this is the first time that this has happened. Please, please don't force me to use Chrome or iExplorer!

Use "Firefox > output" (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing by clicking on the X close in the title bar of Firefox.

You can check if it is useful when you can start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the shift/Options key.

  • CC of Photoshop seems to hang for a few minutes when you import Lightroom CC using the Spot Healing Brush.

Recently updated Lightroom LR CC and CC updated Photoshop. When I "edit a photo in Photoshop CC", Photoshop seems to crash shortly after the image is loaded. Using the Spot Healing Brush just seems to hang the system for a few moments. Sometimes, I left the window and comes back only to see the large tracts of "to be edited" trails on the image. When they came, I have no idea. After an eternity, these trails are published. I have no idea where Photoshop is going and what is the cause.

It doesn't look like we'll be much help then, but you use a similar thread in the LR forum?  No, I see that it is the only wire you have anywhere.

This looks more like a LR problem, so go ask there as well:

  • JavaScript causes Firefox to be unresponsive for a few minutes.

I have a form of Web site with a large amount of dynamically generated javascript that uses jQuery to handle events. When you click on the radio buttons in the form that Firefox 26 cross halfway then stop responding for about two minutes, while showing (not answer) in the title. If I go to: javascript.options.baselinejit.content config and disable the form works very well, if I turn this option FireFox unresponsive courses via the form. It started recently, but I don't know exactly what version is started on, Firefox 26 certainly has the problem for me. All extensions and plugins have been disabled and "Use hardware acceleration when available" is not selected. Also the form works fine in 31 Chrome, Internet Explorer 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Hey keviga, would you be inclined to produce a new bug for that? You can reference the JavaScript baseline compiler as the problem. I guess that the tricky part is to find what is happening in your scripts that triggers the question.

You can submit bugs here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/

  • PC hangs for a few seconds, and then return as normal and fast as always, no reports of any problems in the operating system.

    Hello world

I have a Vista Ultimate SP2 system and all updates, my hardware is an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 3.2 Ghz with a RAID 0 (2 discs), 4 GB of RAM, video memory shared up to 1 GB, Asus M2A-VM Motherboard.

My problem is that sometimes when you work with any my computer shutdown application package to meet any keyboard or mouse control for 2-3 seconds and suddenly come back with tasks in the queue and fast as usual.

I've updated my Chipset and RAID drivers.

I uninstalled ASUS ACPI Center who could be one of the causes of this problem, rename the executable to Center asus acpi.

I ran TuneUp Disk Doctor to verify my RAID and fix problems

I update and updated my Antivirus ESET Smart Security in order to improve the performance of the process EKRN who sometimes take a large part of the time CPU.

Can someone advice me how track and what tools to use to run a diagnosis of systemd and check if my problem is with the hardware or the operating system?

    Kind regards.

    JUOX.

Run process monitor. Stop the trace when your problem occurs. Look through the timestamps of the gaps.

  • Windows 7 computer hangs after a few minutes of inactivity

I have a HP G62 that uses Windows 7. When I don't use the computer, it will freeze and not allow me to do anything other than the manual switching off the computer. Restarting seems to go fine, but a few minutes of inactivity, it will freeze again. Can someone help me?

    Use Norton Cleanup utility:
    http://MajorGeeks.com/Norton_Removal_Tool_SymNRT_d4749.html

to make sure that it is gone.

What is your Antivirus solution now?

Can run MalwareBytes and SuperAntiSpyware (full crawls, free software) and remove any they find.

Also change your screensaver to something basic (white) and adjust the time to 20 minutes.

I'll have this weird problem and did not find the problem. Suddenly my laptop (Lenovo Y710 - 4 GB RAM - Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit) crashes after a few minutes of activity, Vista freezes. CTRL + Alt + Delete does not work. If I force close to the bottom and then try to restart, it do display anything. I tried to start in safe mode, but after pressing f8 and it only beeps and still doest appear anyting on screen you. If I try to start the laptop after a few hours it starts again and minutes it freezes again. I noticed this problem for the first time when using RDP to my desktop, but it wasn't the first time I've done RDP. I have not installed new hardware or drivers. Am not able to nail the question, would appreciate any help.

    Thank you.

This is no doubt hardware failure. The laptop could be overheating and/or other components could be involved. Contact Lenovo technical support or take to a competent local computer Tech do not use a type of BigComputerStore/GeekSquad of the place.

If you have a pretty good level of computer skills, you can test some components yourself although it is more difficult to make accurate material on a laptop computer troubleshooting.

    Hi JohnPloughman

You have set display up-to-date drivers installed?

    Step 1 :
To resolve the problem, you can check if uninstalling and reinstalling then the display driver allows.
Also check if you have any exclamation point or cross the marks on the sides of display devices listed in Device Manager.

    a. click Startand then click Control Panel.

    b. click system and Maintenance, click Systemand then click on Device Manager.
Note If Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click System, and then click Device Manager.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

    c. in the Manager device, expand display driver, display devices, right-click and then click on Properties and on the driver tab, click Uninstall.

    d. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.

    e. restart the computer.

After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically.

    Step 2:

If the problem persists I suggest you to check if you install the latest updated driver on the manufacturer's Web site to help you.

You can also check out the link below and check if you get an updated video driver. You can install updates in optional updatesvideo card driver.

  • Whenever I start my desktop computer, he goes to the BACK and informed me that my CMOS settings are false.

Help! It started to happen last week and I don't know what to do. Whenever I start my desktop computer, he goes to the back and informed me that my CMOS settings are false. How should I address this!

    original title: CMOS setting

It mahy be as simple as needing a new CMOS battery.  If you are not under warranty and have a counter top it is usually fairly easy to replace (google your computer for more information).

If that doesn't fix it, you may need to reset by removing the battery, unplug the power, remove the dough (if any) and now the power button is for one minute.
