Whenever I have install update SP3 I restarted mode safe

Whenever I have install the SP3 update I get restarted safely Mode.It no matter what number others updated or I install first. Then. My solution is to say Good bye to MSE and update Windows SP3. Since Microsoft has already ceased support of the SP2 and stop support for SP3 in 2014, SP3 can t be acquired on a computer running SP2.

Original title: will NEVER install SP3

How were you install SP3? Try this way if you don't.

If SP3 has been downloaded with a program antivirus or anti-spyware, running, you may have a bad installation.

* If the configuration of your antivirus software prevents certain system changing files, SP3 installation may fail. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus software. You can usually do this by double-clicking on the icon for your antivirus program (it usually appears in the lower right of the computer screen) and clicking on disable.

* If you disable your antivirus software before you install the service pack, do not forget that you are aware of the risks involved, don't forget to enable it after the service pack is installed.

Remove SP3 via Add/Remove Programs, reboot and download and install again. Click on the link below. Do not use the Windows updates. Before you install, disable your antivirus and anti-spyware such as Windows Defender programs. If you are using another firewall, disable and enable Windows Firewall in the control panel for the installation. Once a requires SP3 and working, you can activate the third-party firewall and put the Windows Firewall. Do not keep the two running.

    Hi kises2539,

    Method 1:

    1. download the stand-alone package with four updates at a time. You can download the stand-alone version of the link with the number of KB below:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads and check if the problem is resolved.

    2. start the clean boot computer and try to install the updates manually. Link below will help you to start the computer in clean boot:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

Make sure that you reset the computer in normal mode (you can see step 7)

Method 2: you can also run the built-in convenience store, check out the link below: open the Windows Update troubleshooting tool:http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Open-the-Windows-Update-troubleshooter

  • When I install updated computer then restart successfully

I have 12 which have been considered important updates waiting to be installed, however I did it twice now and after each attempt that the computer just does not start once the updates have been installed.  It just seems to stop dead.  Then I have to remove the battery to reset the computer completely, then it goes back to a time where he started successfully, but then again wonder to reinstall the same updates.  I don't know what to do, I want to keep everything updated, but something is obviously wrong.  Keep answers as simple as possible, I would not class myself as an expert!

  • I have install update Adobe Acrobat reader on my computer a few weeks ago. I was not able to print my documents, new or old. I use win 7. I tried to uninstall the program and re - install, and that has not worked. I went to the HP tapes

I installed the update of Adobe Acrobat reader on my computer a few weeks ago. I couldn't print my documents, new or old. I tried to uninstall the program and re-install and that has not worked. I went to the HP website and from the down loaded the latest printer drivers, and that did not work. I went to tools for the production printing package that reads 'Add' tab. I clicked Add and got a (1-800-915-9430) number to call if I want to pay other services that offer Adobe. I called the number in the hope of getting my answers to the question and that has not worked. I've gotten has been a long wait (1 h) for a person to respond to the call and when they meet a poor service. I went to different forums looking for answers and found my question but not response. The messages I get are: "the document could not be printed" and "there is no page selected. Is there a solution to this problem? The version of window is Win7.

    Hi Abhishek,

I followed your instructions and none of it worked. I had to uninstall Acrobat Reader and then update my version of the window. After that I downloaded Acrobat Reader again and it worked. Thanks again for your help.

  • Cannot connect to the network or perform system restore after installing updates have been

WIN 7 Home Premium running on a gateway PC connected to the internet via an ethernet connection using a RealTek network adapter for the past 5 years with no problems. Running Avast Pro antivirus / internet security.  09/02/2016, Microsoft and Avast downloaded and installed updates on the PC.  After the PC auto-redémarré as part of the Microsoft updates, I couldn't connect to the internet.  Connect to the network now says unidentified network - no network connection.  The adapter looks like to she always sees the (watch 100 Mbps) connection, but no data packet move.  Device Manager indicates that the unit is working normally.

I ran through the resolution of the problems of Windows network. I checked the cable was attached, reset the home modem, reset the adapter (toggle), uninstalled/reinstalled using the latest adapter driver available.  I have disabled the Windows Firewall because Firewall Avast wouldn't start.  I disabled all the Avast settings to see if it eliminated the problem.  I tried to run the system restore before the updates but continue to spread the message that there was an unexplained error and restore failed.  All this was done in Normal mode. I restarted mode safe and had the same problems without success.

I was able to clear the problem by manually uninstalling updates of security Windows which were loaded on 09/02/2016 through the programs and features Control Panel. Then I did the repair of Avast program operation.  I rebooted the computer and the internet connection worked. Then I reinstalled manually updates Windows security on the Windows Update program.

    Hi JIMPAVIS,

-Do you remember the number of the Knowledge Base (KB) of the update that you receive as an alert to install?

See the installation history for the error code or error for the failed update.

To view the history of installation, follow these steps:

    a. click Start, point to all programsand then click Windows Update or Microsoft Update.

    b. on the Web site, click view update history.

    c. find the latest entry for the specific update.

    d. Note the color of the icon in the status column. If the icon is green, the update has been installed. If the icon is red, the update is not installed. It shows the status as being down.

    e. click on the red X icon to get the error code or the error message for the update has failed.

  • Differences between "View Update History" and "installed updates".

I have discrepancies between "view update history" and "installed updates".  Updates do not match and there are a lot of differences.  I'll try and link to an extracted image so you can see the differences.
I have a Gateway GM4574 with an AMD Live 64-bit processor, but am running Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit) SP2,
I found this problem when certain Office updates (KB2760411, KB2760583, & KB2760588) kept wanting to be installed over and over.  This problem is now resolved.
Here's the problem I'm having now...

When I compare what follows, I come with a LOT of contradictions:
    (a) Control Panel, system and Maintenance, update Windows, view update history
    (b) Control Panel, programs and features, installed updates

Please see if your system has the same problem.  I don't know if it will work, but I'll try and link a picture of the views of two control panel so you can see the differences.  Just look at the dates of arrival and you will immediately see there are problems.

    Here is the link to an image I've snipped: https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=95DC3CEDE6DDD9BD! 814 & authkey =! AEwfCYrNsbmnUk0 & v = 3 +
When you click on the link and the page opens, look down the page and you'll see a thumbnail of the image.  Right-click on it and click View Original.  It looks better this way.  It is easier to read.

Again, I didn't know you can see updates two of 2 different ways, but there are a lot of updates do not appear on the installed updates that appear on view update history.

I'm worried about this because I don't know whether or not updates are really installed.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Sincerely,
    Dennis

History is not important, it's the installed updates that are important.

At a certain stage, you can reset Windows Update, thus losing your history, or may have installed updates manually.

Don't worry about this. As long as the computer is updated and the updates are listed under "installed updates", it is essentially.
