whenever I play a game like on the sport fish, my computer hangs

When I run the games and about 10 minutes into it, my computer shuts down. I know almost nothing about computers to get detailed instructions, I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks to you all.

Hi nadinevermilya,

1. did you make any changes to the computer before the show took place?
2. which web browser is installed on the computer?
3. what version of web browser do you use?

  • Satellite A60: Can't play good games like the Sims 2

    Hello.
I have a satellite A60 and im having problems with my display driver.

I have the latest updates on everything, but I still can't play good games. Even the Sims 2 will slow down.

Idecided to a cooler on the ati chipset (like some toshiba models) but I can't seem to put on, although his decision-making in the right place.

    so my question is:
Why the video display is so slow? make my processor always on 99%
Why the chipset cooling fan does not work?

    Thank you

    Hey Buddy

I think you have misunderstood something. This issue has nothing to do with the version of the graphics driver you know?

AFAIK the A60 Sat came with an ATI graphics card that supports only 32-64 MB shared memory!
It is simply down to play new games with maximum performance!
The graphics card shared graphics memory for main memory and this reduces the amount of main memory.

Last but not least the CPU always runs with maximum performance during game!
The CPU is highly requested, play games or run other applications of high performance.

  • Whenever I play a game it sends me on the desk.

    Hello

I need a little help... whenever I play a game full screen I get randomly sent on my desk, during playback. I don't know why it does this I just got this computer having windows 8 preinstalled so nothing is changed on a component. It can be very annoying when you play a pvp game. I can't g ORetour in the game without a problem, it's just can be annoying to go to the office every 10-60 seconds

    Hello Ninja,

The game could minimize if one of the following conditions is true:

    ·         Applications that run on the mode full screen, including games may reduce if there are all the prompts on the message error or an update. Check to see if you get any prompt to install an update or an error message when the game reduced to a minimum.

    ·         Other programs running in the background can also cause the game reduced to a minimum. Check if no program or an application is running when you play the game.

You can also consider updating the video card drivers on the manufacturer's Web site.

    I hope that helps!

original title: Blue Screen Crash - whenever I play a game fullscreen (in this case, Fallout New Vegas)

For some reason that I was constantly blue screen crashes whenever I'm playing Fallout New Vegas on my computer. I'm positive my computer takes care of everything, I will list the specs below. He broke down twice today while I played for a good two and a half hours before the first, but then when I rebooted and went back into the game, he has frozen almost immediately so I ended the process. NVidia GeForce GTS 450 graphics card

    Orion HP650D 650W PSU

I went into the Device Manager and ensured that all my drivers are up to date, that don't seem to not be.

    Hi Adam,.

    This method works.

  • HP Split x 2, can I play video games such as the sims 3 or world of warcraft?

I recently bought this divided Hp x 2 for academic purposes, but my husband wanted to play world of Warcraft in my laptop. usually the screen feels so hot after that he played for at least 3 hours. I don't want him messing my laptop. Sometimes, the game freezes.

I wanted to know if games like WOW or sims 3 can be played regularly in this type of laptop. I wanted to know if there is anyway I can upgrade this laptop to run to its full potential.

    Thank you!

    Hello mariegarrard,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

This computer is not designed to handle such heavy games such as WOW and Sims 3. Even if you were to spend a few thousand dollars and any compatible hardware upgrade, it still would not work properly.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you!

    Mario

  • My computer is running hot whenever I play a game and stops

When I play a game on the computer as Witcher2, the computer runs hot and then stops when I turn on it shows he got hot at 90 degrees. Can I do to prevent that from happening. Thanks for any help.

Open your computer case and check that the fans are running when your computer is powered - in particular the fan on the processor on the motherboard.  If the fans are working properly, then get a can of compressed air and blow out the dust from the inside of the computer - especially around the CPU chip.  Dust can collect on components and act like a blanket that is causing the overheating of the computer.

  • My daughter played a game that changed the resolution of the screen on the reboot I see is no longer anything on the screen!

My daughter has tried to play a game of old trails Oregon of a disc. It made him change the resolution to which she did not return to the stop down. Now, to restart, we are unable to see the screen after windows starts. Any suggestions? We are running Windows Vista.

    Hello

Although she has changed the resolution, you should still be able to see a logo when the BIOS boot screen loads. IF this isn't the case then something else happens.

To solve this problem I would boot windows in safe mode, so you can load windows into a default resolution. To do this, when you turn on the PC press, key F8 before Windows loads. (do this as soon as the BIOS screen disappears)

You will be asked to choose from a number of advanced options, is the option you want to select:

Turn on the video resolution (640 x 480)

This will load windows in this resolution, so you can set it manually to your favorite resolution.

Let me know how you go with it.

My laptop Qosmio F50 works completely normally and would never shut down on its own.
But I try to play a game pes 2010 example or the need for speed, my laptop long closed.
It was good before, but after rebotting my computer this problem just recently started...
I have Nvidia Geforce, DirectX 10 and all recommended Requirments for the games but sometimes I start a game or after 2 or 3 housr game it would be completely Shut Down My computer and when I would turn on the computer, he would say that it was not Shut Down normally.

    Alhajji,
They suggested to do a factory restore, if a valid step to do.  I know this isn't the most fun thing to do, but if you restore the system failing factory (clean install of the operating system).  Then, run Windows update and update drivers.  At this point, you can install a game and test.  If the problem persists, it would look to be a possible hardware problem with the system.

  • Not able to play card games. At the opening of the game as the question comes back: application not found

Windows Vista. It was working fine, but something happened and I'm not able to play card games.

  • I have had 4 games installed by the cd on my computer worked fine for months. Now they keep encounters an error and must close

I have 4 games installed by CD I played for months, with no problems. We had the power to go out and I turned it off so it wouldn't be a problem when the power came. Reconnected everything, the next day and when I tried to access ONE of the games I have installed, I get "Microsoft has encountered a problem and needs to close" and I send error report. I took and uninstalled and reinstalled the games, but no luck. I contacted one of the manufactorers game and they gave me directions to go and get manually for the game to start and create a new shortcut. I followed their directions and that did not work. I have the home edition, XP and century link DSL. I even disconnected my DSL and re-installed the game - no difference. (these games have not played also online) I don't think that this is a problem with the games, or why it would happen in all 4 games? Besides my Spider solitaire and freecell properly. And I can come back and play a game on facebook without problem. Help?

I want to thank all who have responded and have tried to help. Fixed the problem in fact itself, without my help. So, my first thought was that it was a matter of microsoft, must have been the case. And in the future, I'll wait a few days, after the error reports are sent to microsoft, before that I worry about what I might need to do. Thanks again!

  • I play old games like "the Lord of the rings." But they are not compatible with my new RESUME. Any help?

When I start these games he says there are not compatible with the computer.

    Probably because it's Windows 7.

The back of the games say it is compatible with Windows 95,98, Me, XP...

But nowhere Win 7, probably because it did not exist at the time.

Is there a way around this problem? Because I do not just want to throw these games.

    Please any help?

    Hello

A way to get around is run your machine in XP mode (depending on your version of W7). Please try this

    Kind regards.

  • Whenever I play a game explore HARD drive go all wacky. Never seen this problem before today.

This NEVER happened before a few days ago. Don't know exactly when that I didn't play for a few days. I could alt tab off games, whenever I wanted to before that without any problems whatsoever.

Explorer keeps jumping from memory use normal and low of 10 MB and 30 MB, to the use of 500 MB, 1 GB, and slightly above, the use of half of my ram to 2 GB. Explorer goes from normal to that in a moment, when this occurs. That cannot be good. I just noticed that this happens when you do something more intensive you use Firefox or playing a video. First of all, I thought it was just when I alt tab out of any game, Mass Effect 2 in particular right now. When I alt label off ME2 it takes a few minutes for the drive to stop thrashing and to explore to stop using as much ram. Also, everything goes very very slow, virtually frozen since a few minutes. But I also tried a much much much less intensive game (Halo 1) and the same thing happens, it stops just less than a minute. It shouldn't happen even for a few seconds.

I just downgrade my GPU driver to see if he'll fix it (did not help) and I noticed the Explorer do the thing of the use of huge ram for a few seconds during the driver installation. That is how I know that it is not just about games as I thought initially. Also after I alt tab out ME2 after that I'm able to do things again once my HDD will always continue to do things for more than a few minutes. I watched the resource monitor to see which accesses the HARD drive. It seems to access many things unnecessarily. I have screenshots of the resource manager of the monitor and the task during the activity. Look at ways out of whack to me. If you need I can post a hijack this log journal and combofix.

Note: it is not recommended to have more than 20 MB of data on the desktop, you can have shortcuts for each file, however there should be no large files or executables stored on the desktop, as the computer reads the contents from the desktop to the start so that it starts before your home screen appears.
