Where are my plugins installed to FF21 search engine?
they are not in
C:\Program Files\Mozilla searchplugins
they're not (only default FF plugins are inside, not what I downloaded)
C:\Program Files\Mozi lla Firefox\browser\searchplugins
I can't find my youtube, mycroft, torrentz search plugin in the cases (extension .xml, right?)
You can check if you have the XML files including Google's default search engine in the browser\searchplugins file in the Firefox program folder.
If this isn't the case, then you need to reinstall Firefox.
Search engines are in the searchplugins folder in the custom installed Firefox profile folder...
Try to delete the file search.json and possible search - metadata.json and search.sqlite files in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the default search engines.
Firefox will rebuild the file search.json from the default search engines in the folder "browser\searchplugins" in the Firefox program folder and the searchplugins folder in the Firefox profile folder.

I already uninstalled the program, where can I find the plugin to remove it manually? He asks once again the layers implemented page tiff or psd with text to close PS5 for Mac.
This is the reason why I didn't buy this product when the trial failed. No place to put on the web site of Font Explorer.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Plugins are normally found in the Plug-Ins folder, right next to the application itself.
They could be installed anywhere inside this folder (the names inside are just for your organization).

where are my plugins in 2015 CC?
The plugins are in the Common/MediaCore folder but only a few present you when I use CC2015. It is not good that the Installer removed CC2014. I need a fix ASAP!
8.1 Windows 64-bit
2 - processors E5-2650 Xeon 2.00 Ghz
64 GB OF RAM
K5600 Nvidia Quadro
Nvidia Quadro 6000
7 TO SAS
Plugins appears:
Red giant universe
Looks like
NewBlue II, III, IV, V
Pluraleyes
ETC.
It is always better to download the latest Plug-ins from third-party installer and install to the latest version. Their Web site and Setup must indicate whether or not the most recent version is supported.
Don't assume that just because a plug-in in the plug-ins folder of MediaCore is properly installed for all versions. For example, some plug-ins have the DLL dependencies requiring support libraries be installed in the same folder as the file Adobe first Pro.exe. It will not be in the right place if you come to install CC 2015 and launch.
Kind regards

How to stop the diversion of search engine
Right to the point: how to prevent sites like yahoo to misappropriation of your research?
Now, before the flames begin to-I checked several sites and non of show them how to STOP yahoo (and others) of hijacking, only how to FIX. It is easy fixing. These are two completely different questions. Stop, it's what interests me.
That said, lets ask it differently this time, why mozilla is allowing other sites in an arbitrary manner, a whim, authorize a Web site changes to the someones browser? If someone sets their browser to a specific search engine, mozilla shall not permit to be changed by one source, other than the owner (the user in this case), at BEST maybe a fox herself warning system requesting a change.
This would raise the question, how many other problems of security work in the background that are not intrusive (recorders, data mining etc..) which are 'allowed' to manipulate the Fox without knowing them users? How can I install / activate some features of alert that maybe says:
"Your current search engine [search engine] was changed, are you sure? Now, users are less likely to lose their search engine without warning.

Web sites cannot change your default search engine in Firefox without having to install a local file, is a program that changes your settings or an add-on. If you've seen any site show how to hack the default search engine setting while visiting a web page, please report the URL to Mozilla for urgent investigation.
Downloading a program and especially an add-on install prompts the user to allow/disallow installation, although the site may not be honest about the purpose and effect of the program, and Firefox is unable to break down a program in real time and tell you in advance what he does.
The most frequent cases seen on this forum is where a user has downloaded free software as "watch live sports anywhere" or "video" and it comes with a range of invasive software that either has not been disclosed or you just didn't notice in the 10 pages of small print, you have accepted. In fact, the installer may have been downloaded with any browser and affect all your browsers.
In regards to the programs that you are allowing your system how can Firefox, Firefox assumes that you accepted and allows them to run if they meet the current validation requirements and have not been reported for blocking. There is not a ban on Add-ons that affect research. If you think that there should be, you could raise this suggestion on the forum of modules here:

When I go on safari I only get google this is my search engine
I better stay with google or go back to safari on safari at the moment I get just search google.
I do not understand your question. Are you willing to change your search engine from Google to something else? You can do in the Safari preferences by going to the 'Search' tab. If you are wanting to change the home page of Safari, you would also do in Safari preferences, but in the general tab.

Any search plugin I chose to install it from the list of search plugins FireFox on the Mozilla Add-ons site, I get the same error message - "this search engine is not supported by FireFox and can not be installed. I tried to delete the 3 files in my profile identified in the article on troubleshooting plugins, but it did not help. I am running Firefox with administrator privileges, but it does not help. The problem seems to be with the search plugins. I can install other extensions that are not plugins from the Mozilla Add-ons site search, but not the search plugins. I tried restarting FireFox and restarting the computer severaltimes, but I get the same error message when I try to install a search plugin.
Something is messed up on the pages of plugins MySapce AMO. Clear the URL bar and type something here (but do not hit Enter) - then you should be able to proceed with the installation of a search plugin.

Why does not take account of Firefox with update to version 21 my search plugins installed?
I just updated my browser to version 21.0 and doing so 'lost' among my most frequently used search engines. A glance in the searchplugins folder revealed that all OpenSearch Description previously listed files are gone except for the search engines, I'm missing.
Try reinstalling some of them, I believe most of the missing search engines for sites that themselves do not provide them as http://www.wikimindmap.org and http://www.goodreads.com so I must have got their sides of third-party form, but in the previews versions they just worked well.Note that if this is the searchplugins folder in the Firefox program folder, then you must now put the search engines in the browser\searchplugins folder to make Firefox find them.
You can move plugins search of ' < installation directory > /searchplugins/ "to < installation directory > / browser/searchplugins/to make Firefox even find them.

I have not read method 4 5 methods before re install XP on top of the instalation of gooseberry. Somehow, I had picked up Paladan or palladium that froze my system and wouldn't let me go unless I bought it. So I used the recovery disc to repair XP. Once I did I found that all my photos did not appear in my photos. I installed Picasa and can send pictures very well. I would like to get XP to recognize the photos so I can use Outlook to send photos.
I read a few other posts and wonder why in method 4 to install in a separate folder?
The installation disc said repair and I just let it go in automatic mode. How does the system decide which version to boot from? When it is in a different folder with a new name? Is it the latest version installed to boot from or what.
Thank you
Hi Muddlinthru,
· What article are you talking about for relocation?
· Where are the photos?
· You receive an option to select the operating system to load into the start menu?
Important : reinstall the Windows operating system or upgrade your OS on-site is a troubleshooting step extreme that you should only take if you fully understand the ramifications and risks involved. If you decide to take this step, make sure that you have the original Windows XP media and product installation key provided with your operating system. If you are not comfortable trying to reinstall or to repair the Windows operating system, you can contact the manufacturer of your computer for help or bring your computer to a professional repair shop.

Where are drivers of devices installed for the drives listed?
If I install a graphics card, sound card, card network or other maps add-on, I need usually to also install a device driver. These device drivers are listed in the Panel-> uninstall a program. But when I use an external USB docking station to look at the contents of a SSD or HARD disk, the first time that the drive is mounted Windows automatically installs a driver for the reader. Where are the device drivers listed? There be a master list of installed device drivers. And are device drivers is read from the drive, Windows include a bucket of typical device drivers, or Windows will quickly find them via the Internet?
Hello
Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.
All installed device drivers are stored in the system32/drivers folder and here are the generic driver. Windows Installer drivers automatically when you connect a new device, some devices require that you install drivers manually. In these cases, the manufacturer of the device contains a disk of software and instructions on installing the driver before plugging. You can also visit the link for more information below:

Hope this information is helpful to you, post us all issues related to Windows, we will be happy to help you.

Upgrade Ellements where the 9 to 11 are my plugins?
I just installed version 11 on my computer windows 64-bit running Windows 7 Edition home premium and at that time still have version 9 installed. I can't find third-party plug-ins in version 11. I tried the update of Portrait Professional, but this still does not bind in the new version. Any ideas?
This is because PSE11 had no information about the plugins installed on your computer. Workaround is to reinstall your plugins. Another solution is to point PES 11 on ((est un tel dossier vous avez) file that contains all plugins.) To do this, go in "Edit > preferences > PlugIns" and indicate the folder ins taken extra. A revival of the app should load the plugins.

How can I get information on a search engine installed?
I want to see what exactly search engines I installed, for example by seeing the page add-on from the respective search engine. How can I do this?
Which does not exist in Firefox for searches on the search bar or to the plugins you have installed. Look on the Internet using a search engine if you need comments. Or on the search engines home & support pages for features and descriptions.
Details of the research that I mentioned is simply the code to make the research available and is conveniently divided into a file by search engine and therefore lists the available search engines. For example, the default is Google. Even with your plugins, they are third party definition software, but in the case of the plugins YOU have installed and selected.
You can add searches Mycroft (http://mycroftproject.com/search-engines.html) as mentioned in the article linked, and they at least kinds for most downloaded. Even if you use addons hosted on addons.mozilla.org where you will see reviews and ratings.

Recently, I noticed I have a few plugins installed in my Firefox I didn't even know I had. I remember accepting MS Silverlight and Adobe Flash, but I do not always say Yes at the update of Google and the two versions plugins Ubisofts Uplay. One that I now have disableled and made me write this complaint. I guess that these got plugins installed in Firefox when I installed the related programs. But I never warned that this situation occurs. I didn't even know I had the first plugin installed Uplay who had a big security hole. Who is now disabled by defalt on your side. I have something better to do that in order to check what plugins are installed as if by magic on Firefox.
My question is why some plugins installed without Firefox notifies the user that it has been changed? In my opinion a browser should not make changes without notification to the end-user, and Firefox should not trust that other programs to do this.
A small related question is why there is no good way to remove a plugin it completely from firefox? Why is there no button I can click that it clears as if it were on addons. I don't want to risk plugins activate again when updates to firefox, or I have reinstall. When your support suggestion will have to manually change the registry then it is clearly not good enough.
Firefox does not offer an easy way to uninstall plugins because they are not part of Firefox, but there are other applications installed. Firefox uses only the plugins it detects are installed on your computer, which may include plugins like Silverlight or Adobe Flash that you consent to install as well as other browser plugins that are included with other software, such as QuickTime (included with QuickTime Player) plugin or the plugin Google Update (included with various Google applications). You can visit the Plugin Check page at http://www.mozilla.com/plugincheck/ to see what plugins are installed on your computer that are detected by Firefox. This page should include links to the plugin provider. In turn, do a Google search will find more information, such as http://www.ghacks.net/2012/07/17/current-version-of-the-google-update-plugin-how-to-remove/
