Where can I get Windows Vista

Someone at - it sources where I can buy a copy of Windows Vista or Windows XP?

It can be obtained from Microsoft.  I suggest you do a search for 'Purchase Vista or XP' on Bing or Google and see if they come up with something useful.  I don't know of places to get more, but I've not really looked at.

If so, you should br able to find sources on search engines.  If this one does not provide any options to refine the search term.  Don't buy OEM software, because the license allows it to be installed only on the original computer that it came installed on - you cannot legally install it on your machine (and you will not be able to activate when the time comes, and then you'll be stuck).

I hope this helps.

Good luck!

    Original title: Windows 7

    It depends to a large where you are, still list Amazon UK most of the versions. What you struggle with is finding a retail pack which is technically what you need. You cannot use the Upgrade Pack, even if you already have a Windows operating system.

    The OEM packs that as long as you understand the restrictions (not Microsoft supports load, 64-bit or 32-bit not both, installed only on the 1st PC and cannot be transferred to the future), you can install are more readily available.

    Also, you should check that the computer supports Windows 7, all the drivers are available, in general it will be but are not defined.

    Then you should be able to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS because it would protect the current installation.

    If you have not already purchased the computer if you check the biggest manufacturers on the trade routes of online providers you will find that Windows 7 is still available, it is above all the internal market which is forced in Windows 8. More small manufacturers of PC desktop are also used to define Windows 7, but must reduce quickly if they follow the rules of Microsoft.

  • Where can I get the Vista recovery disc - Satellite P205D-S8802

    Hey guys,.

    Last year, I bought my Toshiba Satellite P205D-S8802
    I got no CD Recorvy, but if I want to do the training, the HARD disk I need the disk
    Where can I get the disc?
    I have the original Windows Vista Home premium (the button on the laptop is a Microsoft label)

    Thank you for the help

    Hello

    To me, it seems that Satellite P205D-S8802 is a series of portable US.
    You should be able to order the recovery of the ASP disk in your country.
    Otherwise, you need an original Vista from Microsoft and the pilots could be downloaded from the American pilot site.
    But note; You may not use the Vista serial number which is placed at the bottom.
    It belongs to the preinstalled Vista and it s version just an OEM

  • Where can I download windows vista startup disk?

    Hello

    A few weeks ago my hard drive laptop (bought about 3 years ago) of hp has been damaged permanently and cannot be fixed without replacing. Unfortunately, the laptop came not with disk in Windows vista Home premium and I have not all copies file stored in the hard disk recovery disk.

    Currently, I use a laptop computer with Windows xp, but I would like to install windows vista Home premium (32 bit) using the product key that came with my previous hp laptop.

    Can someone tell me where to download the windows vista installation disc please? If the download is not possible, can I buy a new drive in windows vista?

    You can't put Vista in HP laptop on the XP machine.

    Read this:

    If Vista is preinstalled on your HP laptop, it is classified as an OEM license and is not transferable.

    The license of Vista OEM is related to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
    You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

    How to get the recovery media Vista to make it back to the factory settings on your HP Laptop(after you install a new HD) .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • where can I get Windows XP X64bit PRO
    I need Windows XP PRO X 64 bit. Where can I get?
    Hello skalb,
    Ends support for Windows XP in April 2014. After that date no other security updates, etc., will be provided by Microsoft.
    You can search Google to get a copy of Windows XP Pro 64 Bit. The only warning I would give is that you are buying from a reliable source, there are a lot of pirated copies of Windows XP available on ebay etc.
  • where can I get Windows XP pro iso?
    Hi I have no problem starting with windows xp and I do not have a CD I have the Pkey but I lost the CD a few years back. where can I download Windows XP
    As far as I KNOW, there is no legitimate site where you can download an ISO for Windows XP.
    If you have a retail copy, you might be able to get a replacement of Microsoft as explained CD here--> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246
    Note that lately more downloads relating to Windows XP appear to have been removed from the Microsoft download server, so it is possible that they don't is no longer meet demand of replacement XP CD as well.
    If your Windows XP came preinstalled by your computer manufacturer, you will need to contact them.  Microsoft will not help you in this situation, as explained in the above-linked document.
  • Where can I get windows 8
    I have a Pavillion 14-B029TU. The hard drive failed - would not start or run the restore. I didn't know that was another week or so to guarantee rest so I put a new drive. I'm running debian on it for the moment but would like to reinstall windows 8.
    Where can I get the victory 8 - I don't want to pay for it again.
    Hello
    You can not download the Windows operating system for your computer from the Internet.
    However, if your HARD drive has failed, the option is to buy recovery disks (they are cheap): they contain to the initial state of the operating system for your laptop.
  • Where can I get windows 7/Vista?
    Hi, I have a computer that is running windows 7, and I want to restore it to factory settings, but I need a recovery image. You can get one a download of microsoft with the original product key, except that my computer came originally installed with windows Vista, so I don't have a windows 7 product key. What can I do?
    Help is appreciated, thanks.
    If you need just to reinstall Windows 7, there is no need to return to Windows Vista, reinstall Windows 7.
    If you do not have your Windows 7 product key, you will need to buy a new one. If Windows 7 is installed, you can try to recover the product key:
    Here are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:
    Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
    (He did a good job of providing a wealth of information.)
    Also: http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml
    and: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html
    and RockXP: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4138.html which has additional features
    For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.
    It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.
    Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:
    How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?
    Make sure you scroll down and read the section:
    What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?
