The positives: you can get it for cheap because Adobe it sell any more, you wouldn't have a lot of money if you decide a newer version is required, it is software 64-bit (a big deal), it works well - particularly for the occasional user - and it has lots of nice features.  I use it myself at home.  Suits me very well.

Disadvantages: it does not work on the latest Mac OS, her lack of features found in newer versions, Adobe is not update it any more and you could not open project files made in later versions.

There may be some other pros & cons, but this isn't a blacklist for beginners.

    Hello

You are unable to update or upgrade Vista 32 bit to 64 bit of Vista.

32-bit to 64-bit, or 64 bit to 32 bit is done by a new installation using a full version of the operating system.

32-bit and 64-bit are different operating systems.

Can I install lightroom 5 on Windows vista home 32 bits andhow many computers can I install it on? I'm afraid that if my computer rejects lightroom I will get a second chance.

    Bunkieboy,

Lightroom 4 and later will not install or run on the 32-bit editions and 64-bit of Windows XP Edition family or professional

Lightroom 5 et seq. will not install or run on 32-bit editions of Windows 7, Windows 8, 8.1 for Windows and Mac OS 10.6.x

Lightroom CC will not install or run on Mac OS 10.7.x

Please see system requirements for Lightroom for more information.

You can install and activate the perpetual software (purchased) two computers of the same type (mac or pc), as long as you use it one at a time. Lightroom is the exception because it is a cross-platform product, so it can be installed on the pc and mac platforms.

  • Where can I buy apps from the Store of Windows for Windows Surface RT?

Is there a "Store" or a "Microsoft Store" where can I buy Apps, music, movies, ect. with the Windows Surface RT? So anything that's comparable with Apple's iTunes Store?

If so, are there gift cards, as Apple has for the iTunes Store and buy in stores at random?

Windows 8/RT software is based entirely around shop Windows for the supply and installation of applications and RT, this is the only way to install the programs anyway.

It's early days yet for the store to have gift cards etc., iTunes took awhile to get to the stadium, which was pulled by the market for music on an iPod in hand, although it has grown more far. Microsoft has unfortunately split this market that music is via XBox that is separate from the Windows Store, so it can not happen in the same way. Same movies are on XBox but there is also a Netflix App so it is not related to a supplier who could work a choice anyway, but no mass down.

Buy an Anytime Upgrade, you must first reinstall Windows 7 Starter.

Besides reinstalling Windows, you can also try this, if you have the Windows.old folder to restore your previous Windows installation:

Return to a previous system Windows using Windows.old:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx/KB/971760
Note: If you had installed Windows 7, follow the instructions for Vista

Please note: you cannot uninstall the preview of consumption. To return to your previous version of Windows, you will need to back up your personal files, and then reinstall Windows from the installation or recovery media and reinstall your programs.

    Reinstalling Windows

Reinstall Windows preinstalled on the computer
When Windows is installed with the computer, computer OEM manufacturers are required to provide at least one way for you to reinstall Windows - your computer should have included a recovery hard disk partition, or the installation/restore Windows diskettes. Most computer manufacturers also have a function to do your own installation disks.

If the recovery partition is still there, and was not deleted, it will reinstall Windows. There is usually a command prompt when you start the computer telling you which key press to start the restoration? -Check your manual if you don't know how. Or if you install disks - enter them, restart and boot from them to start the process of relocation.

If restore it back you to factory State, it will be like it was when you bought first - all preinstalled programs will be installed. Everything you have installed after purchase needs to be reinstalled. This removes all the personal files on the computer, save them first.

Windows preinstalled - if you don't have the recovery partition or install discs:
Contact the OEM computer manufacturer and ask them to send you an installation to your computer disk - they may charge a small fee. Contact information for the manufacturer of your computer can be found here:

    The upgrade to Windows XP?

Please read these instructions carefully and completely before you begin installing Windows 7: there are important steps that you must follow to upgrade your PC from Windows XP to Windows 7 in order to preserve your files and settings.

Before you begin, you'll need to backup all your data to an external storage device, and you will need all the installation discs for the programs that you want to keep. Please make sure that you have an external hard drive (see details below).

More detailed instructions are available at windows.microsoft.com/upgrade-windows-xp. Here are the basic steps.

    1. start Windows Upgrade Advisor (windows.microsoft.com/upgradeadvisor) to see if there are known issues that may affect the installation and the question of whether you should install the version of 32 or 64 bit Windows 7.

2 back up your files and settings on an external hard drive using Windows Easy Transfer (windows.microsoft.com/windows-easy-transfer). If you do not have an external hard drive, you will not be able to use Windows Easy Transfer. Alternatively, you can copy the files you want to keep on a USB stick, CD or DVD.

    3. you will need to manually reinstall your programs, such as Microsoft Office, after I installed Windows 7. Gather the installation for your programs and all partner/license product key discs. You may be able to download programs from the Internet. For example, Windows Live Messenger can be installed from the download.live.com/messenger.

    4. Insert the Windows 7 DVD in your PC. When asked "which type of installation you want. Click on "Custom (advanced)."

    5. when Windows 7 is installed, use Windows Easy Transfer to restore your files and settings.

If you are not comfortable Windows 7 installation, check with a local retail or the services of the PC company store to see if they offer upgrade services.

  • Where can I download the Windows Vista Home Edition ISO?

I need editing family vista? is there a way to get the iso I have my product key, but need the disc...

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact the manufacturer of your computer, if you have an OEM license and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead

Use this guide for the retail of Vista licenses too:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

  • Where can you provide feedback to the developers?

I am a normal user, annoyed by the fact that dialogue like this Firefox and Thunderbird boxes both masquerading as an anonymous 'software security device' (oh come on!) without telling me, the user, what application they belong. I have different passwords for different applications (of course!) and often end up typing in the 'bad' password. May not have the name of the application appear in the dialog box so that we know?

Yes, don't get out of the name even if it is called bugzilla, this is the place where all applications development, improvements and features are followed, so this is the ideal place if you want to attract the attention of the mozilla developers.
