  Mail ceased to receive emails in the Inbox, and also, my mail that was in the Inbox disappeared. In addition, my Junk folder is now more than 100 pieces of junk per day, whereas before, I only got about 10-15. With the increase, there are multiple repetitions of the same Junk, usually one right after the other. What can I do to make Mail accepts incoming mail? (I get all my mail to my Gmail access.)   All gmail messages between March 10, 2016 and April 15, 2016 disappeared.

  Are you referring to the taskbar on the desktop?

  Click on an empty space on the taskbar, and then hold down the mouse button, dragging the taskbar to one of the four sides of the office. Once the taskbar where you want, release the mouse button.

  Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode.  Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan mode without failure.  To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode.  Then run a complete system scan.

  bookmarks.html contains no bookmarks, this file is no longer used to store.

  Are you sure you're looking in the right folder, you are possible to search in the installation of Firefox rather than the profile folder folder. The following link provides details on the location of the profile folder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox

  If you do not find places.sqlite you may not have access to your old profile folder.
