Where's the Firefox Button?

I installed Firefox 4 and it seems to work satisfactorily, with one exception. Maybe it's me being not able to find the way to display the button?

All new tips for Firefox 4 videos show a Firefox "button on the extreme top left of the page and explain that by clicking on this button will bring up your menu. I do not have this button. Instead, at the place where advice videos show the Firefox Button, it has the same description as in the open tab.

I have not been able to find info on support to show me how to get the Firefox tab it. The correct bar is at the top of the screen and there usually minimize, maximize and close buttons on his far-right.

Is someone able to sort this out for me?
Thank you

The new interface is the default on Windows Vista and Windows 7 only. To get it under Windows XP, you must hide the menu bar. Do, in the view menu, select Toolbars, then click on the entrance to the "Menu bar".

If you need to access the menus, you can press Alt or F10 to display temporarily.

How to get the video intro off my google home screen I already saw it, where is the firefox logo used to be. I started with the last update that I rebooted.

    Hello
to change the homepage when opening firefox-press 'Alt' and click on tools-> Options.

Main menu, you can change the URL.

If the problem persists, you can follow these simple steps:

Enter about: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Accept the message of 'dragons' to see the Advanced preferences screen. Use the above search box to enter the below pref.

You can assign an empty string to stop your Firefox to retrieve "extracts" and brandLogo changes the browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl pref. Right-click this pref and select Edit then clear the value as pref in the box that appears, and then click OK. Who will also disable "snippets" that appear under the container of the research on the default home page.

Then you must open the folder of your profile, via help > Troubleshooting Information > profile folder > > button view folder. Then close Firefox. Your profile file open with Firefox closed (Firefox '3-bar' menu key > exit/Quit), wait or two minutes, then remove the storage\moz-safe-about + home folder in the Firefox profile folder to remove the brandLogo and stored in IndexedDB code snippets to make Firefox use the default brandLogo and a defined default code snippet.

If you later change your mind about these changes, you can reset the pref browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl via the context menu and Reset allows to retrieve the default value using the storage\moz-chest-fort-about + home folder again.

  • change the background color of menu for the firefox button

I changed the color of the font of all menus in firefox to white (using userChrome.css) because I'm using a custom theme dark windows 7, where all the context menus are dark. The problem is that the menu of the Firefox button (in the menu that appears when you click on the orange button firefox) remains a brilliant white and blue, making it almost impossible to read the text in white. Is anyway to change two circles of the firefox button menu, or perhaps to change it so it appears like my popups? (via the module or adding to userChrome.css) Thank you

You can use these two as selectors of these two components in the list of menu drop down menu Firefox button.

  • The firefox button used to be on the left, with tabs lined up next to her to reach the top of the screen. The firefox button is now on its own, with tabs on the line below. It wastes a lot of space at the top of my screen, I can put it back how it was?

Previously, the firefox button was upstairs on the left and tabs lined up beside him, so that reached the top of the tabs just to the top of the screen. Close/minimize etc. were at the top right.

Two days ago it so that the firefox button is at the top left, close/minimize etc. are always in the top left, but now the tabs are on a line located underneath, leaving a space at the top where I can see through to the desktop. There is also a wider border than before, around the window of Firefox all, more space wasted.

I have windows 7 on top of my desk quick links bar, now that firefox has left a void that is located above the tabs, it means that it is easier to accidentally hovering over the bar when changing tabs, it's awkward because it brings forward and disrupts the ability to quickly change tabs.

You see the difference between a magnified window and a window "restored down." Click on the middle button in the upper right of the Firefox window, so that when you place the pointer over the button, it says 'Restore down' and a show of boxes double overlap.
