  This happened to me some time ago.  The difficulty for me was to do a "hard reset" of the device.  Remove the battery, or press (hold down together, like on a PC) 3 keys: the 'Alt' key, press ' Caps/Shift' and the 'DELETE' key (the same as back).  After he re-boots, I hope your problem disappears.

  all you have to do is make a rectangle of width 100% (stretch it as far as it can go, or click the 100% width button in the menu bar)
