Where the log file is located (Win Vista) for the actions of OTHER USERS have taken to using the boxes in user account control?

I use the version of Vista Home Premium.

While I don't really like how the UAC area enters the information that tells it when to display the box tell me about your work of things on the UAC (I know an article exist on the web), is not how to answer this question.

There is no log of UAC elevation file.

I use this tool. During installation, you create a folder in a location of your choice for the backup of data to go. I keep mine in My Documents. Whenever my documents are stored outdoors, a copy of this record is as well. If something happens, if you reinstall the program, you can return OE the way it was by restoring the folder you created.

This freeware tool backs up everything on OE in seconds. Ignore what is written in red. Which refers to another program.

  • Full log files are available to LGWR for reuse

    Hello

    Oracle version:
    Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.4.0-
    OS: Windows XP

    In oracle, documentation, noted that:

Filled log files are available to LGWR for re-use if archiving is enabled.

    * > If archiving is disabled (the database is in NOARCHIVELOG mode), a full redo log file is available after changes in it have been written to the data files *.

    Link for Documentation is:
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/server.111/b28310/onlineredo001.htm
    My doubt is:
Redo records are written in files of data also?

    user12141893 wrote:
    This means:
    Suppose that:
Files redo log Online contains some redo entries and cache buffers data base contains data and these data belong to redo entries to the redo log files.
Now this redo log file cannot be reused until the (related) blocks of the database buffer cache are written to the data files.

It's sort of OK. If the log file should be filled, LGWR could switch to the next group of newspapers and would launch a Log Switch that would also trigger DBWR to launch the script of checking the content protected by this newspaper group in the data file. At the time, this operation would go, newspapers group members would have the status of assets , and once it is complete, the State would be marked inactive , which means that this group of newspapers and its members may be reused by LGWR.

When you select Properties > Security tab > advanced > owner tab > continue, current owner says "unable to display current owner. Can not change, cannot be changed.

  • Why do some executable programs require Windows Vista user account control to start, while others do not?

For example, Iobit Advanced System Care 6 requires user account control to start, while none of the programs Microsoft Office requires user account control to start, but they are all executables (*.exe).  Why?

EXE files may have a small text file embedded in them that controls this behavior (and other). A file called programname.manifest in the same folder can do it too, but one stand-alone exe substitute manifests (vista and later).

Here is one that requires the Admin run and also uses 6 worm of the common controls.

  • The Windows 7 user account control settings does not open

    Hello

Someone knows a problem where a computer launches the application "change user account control settings?  We are dev work on multiple PCs and need to disable this feature.  Normally, I would run the UAC and just drag the bar down, but I can't even the application to load.  I even tried running: C:\Windows\System32\userAccountControlSetings.exe and it does nothing.

    Thank you
    Sean

Well, I was not able to understand why the window UAC doesn't appear, however, I managed to disable UAC via the local policy settings.  For reference purposes:

    1. Start > run > gpedit.msc
    2. Computer configuration > Windows settings > security settings > local policies > Security Options
    3. Then define:
    4. User account control: behavior of the guest of elevation for administrators in Admin Approval Mode – set its value toElevate without asking for confirmation.
    5. User account control: detect application installations and prompt for elevation - set its value todisabled.
    6. User account control: only elevate the UIAccess applications that are installed in secure locations - set its value todisabled.
    7. User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode - set its value todisabled.

Please, don't say "user account" when you hear the user account control. They are 2 different things.
Tell the UAC if you wish.

Take a look at this tutorial

There are 3 ways to activate UAC in this tutorial.

If still no help, please do a check of the file system. It will look for corrupted files and it will try to repair if it is found.
