Where to store the TS files for each user on a Terminal Server in Windows 2008 Server

I have a TS w 2008 R2 and have a program that requires files kept for each user in their own folder, where it configures in TS. Each user will have its own folder cache for this program

Each user login for TS and have a user on a shared folder, this program should have updated files in this folder.

    Looks like we have found a solution. We had a group of "update" policy the registry for the current user on login.  It's the key, you need to add in a GPO / your domain controller. In case you can't see in the screenshot, here's the path full key: Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\9.0\FormsPrefs

    Hi toad133,

    ·         What type of backup that you talk too much?

    If you are referring to the automatic backup there backup everything that you have selected or defined to be backed up.

    If you are referring to the manual backup backs up what settings or files that you select to backup such as emails or files.

    Is their any restrictions on the total facilities of cloud creative app after purchase of the monthly subscription for each user? For example, an application may not be installed on more than 1 computer. (Or it will break the policy of licensing or software etc.) ?

    1. You can install the software on as many computers as you want
    2. You can activate the software to be used on a maximum of any two computers at the same time
    3. You can only use one of the simultaneously active installations.

    Seems that all the space the file cache. (C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\Profile.default\Cache)

    Is it possible to implement a policy within the program to clear the cache for each user or each time the browser is closed or when the user disconnects?

    Hello nukeit108, you can set the preference browser.cache.disk.enable to false, then no cache file will be written to disk (does not affect the entries cached in RAM).

  • Where to download the flat file for POC adapter

    Hi all

    We are currently looking at GoldenGate as a mechanism to capture changes to tables specified in an Oracle database and produce text files containing these changes in near real-time. Everything I read pointing adapter flat file for GoldenGate as a way to get there.

    I am now at the point where I want to start a little POC see prove if it will work for our needs. I downloaded GG for databases Oracle 12.1.2.1.0 RTO, as well as customer GG monitor and Director of GG. My question is now - where can I download the flat file adapter? It includes the GG for the download of Oracle?

    If I missed something in the documentation somewhere - I'm happy to be told where to read them.

    Kind regards

    John

    I'll answer my own question here...

    (1) delivery seems to be the only place to get it

    (2) 12 GoldenGate can capture a trail and send it to a configuration of GoldenGate 11 running FF adapter.

  • get the location of the configuration file for each virtual in a cluster

    Is there way in the cli of power for a list of the location of each file in the configuration of the virtual machines in a cluster?  or even each file configuration on data warehouses?

    Thank you

    For all the virtual machines on the VIServer (s) connected

    Get - VM | Select Name, @{N = "VM Config file"; {E = {$_.extensiondata.config.files.vmpathname}}
    Or if you just want to a single data store
    Get-Datastore | Get - VM | Select Name, @{N = "VM Config file"; {E = {$_.extensiondata.config.files.vmpathname}}
    Replace with the data store you want to run it against, for example to run it against Datastore01
    Get-Datastore Datastore01 | Get - VM | Select Name, @{N = "VM Config file"; {E = {$_.extensiondata.config.files.vmpathname}}
  • RH8 and where it stores the project files

    Hi all, I'm supporting some of my colleagues in another country who need to connect to my HR project through our local corporate network remotely. The project is using Robo SourceControl 3.1 and HTML RH8 (webhelp). They're running Win XP SP3 (I know, I know).

    I can get them connected to the project the RSC OK, but when you open the project in RH8 it takes hours and hours! The local store of the project is a local drive, such as c:\RH8.

    They have admin permission on their PC.

    We noticed a thing, it is that the files in the folder C: drive are also somehow their way in Office user profile (desktop icons are disabled on the installation of the company). The profile is stored on the local network and fills his profile space - but I suspect that it is also the cause of the epic slow.

    Any ideas on how I can stop HR mysteriously taking c: in the user profile?

    You may have already done this, but have you tried to remove the. PCD file before opening? Who can help a bit.

    Is there something custom in your project: large attachments generated HTML files, etc. ?

    Take a bow

    Where can I find a linke for the the help file for process Explorer 14.01?  Thank you.

    If you have problems to access using Process Explorer, it's probably because you do not it unlock after the download.

    The best way to do this is to go to the folder where the zip file downloaded, right click the zip file and select Properties. Then click on the button unlock and apply them. Go to the excerpt from Process Explorer.

  • Source control of database - separate files for each object...

    I have always used a tool that has a repostory as Designer, Erwin and now ERStudio to keep and maintain my database and the objects together in one place. Now, you asked us to make a file for each package, proc, func, trigger, table, view, sequence and others and store these files in a CVS tool. I basically keep Oracle Forms applications and have a lot of things. I'm not working on a JAVA application where I could get one or two procs PLSQL for archive - as appropriate. Seems a lot of work for me when I can click a few buttons and save my entire schema in the repository or export a single big SQL file and check in CVS for each version. Whence this control a separate file in the CVS idea ever come and how is this better than using a repository tool or a single big SQL file for each version?

    Then, links or comments that describe the best way to CVS a database from the point of view of Oracle schema?

    Of course you have outside products such as

    However, how can do you it with the tool that is using your business...
    You can check if the tool that you use to design has some kind of ability to connect to the CVS tool. I know that JDeveloper.

    I would say that the benefits of multiple files in a single file is just the ability to better track what changes affect what parts of the application. This is important for testers be able to focus and easier to track problems.

    The people who are pushing for motivated individual files documented why they think it's a better way to keep the changes?

  • Select the last value for each day of the table

    Hello!

    I have a table that contains several measures for each day. I need two queries on this table, and I'm not sure how to write them.

    The table stores the rows (sample data)
    *DateCol1                 Value       Database*
    27.09.2009 12:00:00       100           DB1
    27.09.2009 20:00:00       150           DB1
    27.09.2009 12:00:00       1000          DB2
    27.09.2009 20:00:00       1100          DB2
    28.09.2009 12:00:00       200           DB1
    28.09.2009 20:00:00       220           DB1
    28.09.2009 12:00:00       1500          DB2
    28.09.2009 20:00:00       2000          DB2
    Explanation of the data in the sample table:
    We measure the size of the data files belonging to each database to one or more times a day. The value column indicates the size of the files of database for each database at some point (date in DateCol1 European model).

    What I need:
    Query 1:
    The query must return to the last action for each day and the database. Like this:
    *DateCol1       Value      Database*
    27.09.2009        150          DB1
    27.09.2009       1100          DB2
    28.09.2009        220          DB1
    28.09.2009       2000          DB2
    Query 2:
    The query should return the average measurement for each day and the database. Like this:
    *DateCol1       Value      Database*
    27.09.2009       125          DB1
    27.09.2009      1050          DB2
    28.09.2009       210          DB1
    28.09.2009      1750          DB2
    Could someone please help me to write these two queries?

    Please let me know if you need further information.

  • Where Win7 stores the Windows Virtual PC > XP Mode > XPMUser "My Documents" to access if the virtual XP becomes inaccessible?

    Lost all files in XP mode is "My Docs" XPMUser because I can't connect? Same situation. Where Win7 stores the Windows Virtual PC > XP Mode > XPMUser "My Documents" to access if the virtual XP instance become inaccessible? Like many here, I have activated integration and where then asked for a password on the next reboot of the XP Mode. The password that I usually use has not been accepted. I tried all the possible solutions (have "integration" disabled, start with virtual XP safe mode), but not able to change my password XPmode so don't chance NO connection.  I have brand new instance of XP Mode works, but obviously does not have access to the CASE of XP Mode instance. My question is simple: where are the files that I created and saved in the default location of the first modes XP XPMUser "My Documents" in Windows 7? I tried Win7 for XP 'My documents' files by names or names of game but no luck.  Help, please.

    It is located in the file XP Mode VHD (Virtual Hard Drive), you can look as pretty as a ZIP file that contains a structure of entire disk rather than just a few files.  This VHD file is usually stored in your user folder in a folder of Virtual Machines, for example mine was in the C:\Users\SKeene\Virtual Machines.

    And it's my cheesy guilty pleasure wishes to inform you that you can browse this file as if it were a hard drive, without having to start the XP mode.  However, security applies: If your 'My documents' has been limited, it might be difficult to access (even if you pouvez be able to take possession of the file and gain access).
    Here's how:
    1. Open the Start Menu, right-click on computer and select manage. In the maintenance window of the computer that opens, choose "disk management".
    2. On the right side, click "More action" and then click "Attach VHD" and select your XP Mode VHD file.  You might consider making a backup of the file copy of the hard drive virtual before do you it, just in case!
    3. Once you have connected the virtual hard drive, an Autorun dialog box may appear.  If this is not the case, simply click on Start/computer to see your new 'Local disk '.
    At least, I can confirm that it worked perfectly for me, and I had access to my account "User XPMode" alongwith without problem.
  • Windows 7 - enable the display settings for each folder: folder options, "save the display settings for each folder".

    Hello.

    Any one out there know how to activate the display settings for each folder in WINDOWS 7?

    I'm especially interested in adjusting the size and the location on my screen.  A few days earlier, before moving to Windows 7: I could open a file, place and size where I wanted, and when I opened it again, presto!, even spot and size.

    I've seen several posts of users seeking to turn this feature off.  I'm looking forward in opposition.   I would like to than windows "remember each folder view settings.  This particular configuration seems to no longer be available in Windows 7, screenshot attached:

    Thank you for your time and your interest.

  • by selecting the second result for each client...

    Hello

    I have a table that contains all the contacts that we have with our customers.
    We consider a file active file from the moment where there was 2 contacts for this customer.
    Today someone asked me "can you tell me how many new customers with an active file, we have this year."

    So what I really want to do now is make a view that contains the DATE of the SECOND CONTACT for each CLIENT_ID.

    the table looks like this:
    CONTACT_ID
    CLIENT_ID
    DATE
    CONTACT_FORM (any in this story)
    REMARKS (any in this story)

    Can someone help me with this please?

    change I don't know how to make an opinion, which is not the problem :) in this case only the query select to make the problem there.

    Edit 2 I made a small example

    If I start with the data in this table:
    CLIENT_ID || DATE           .... other columns here...
    436     || 01-02-2011
    328     || 05-04-2011
    319     || 13-01-2011
    220     || 03-09-2011
    319     || 17-12-2011
    220     || 25-11-2011
    436     || 01-04-2011
    436     || 01-04-2011
    that vision must end up with:
    CLIENT_ID  || DATE_OF_SECOND_CONTACT
    436     || 01-04-2011
    220     || 25-11-2011
    319     || 17-12-2011
    (works with version 11.2.0.1.0)

    If you do something like

    SELECT CLIENT_ID, date_column
    FROM (
    SELECT client_id, date_column, row_number() over (partition by client_id order by date_column asc) AS CONTACT
    FROM YOUR_TABLE)
