Which TV Tuner/Capture card?

Hi people.
Here is my Config to the computer.

Intel Core i7 920
Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5
Corsair 6GB @1333

Tagan BZ 800W PSU
Sunbeamtech RTC 120
XFX Nvidia GTX260
Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150
Seagate 1.5 TB * 2 + 1 TB HARD drive
Vista 64-bit
NAGRAVISION NAC - 510i STB (Set top box)

What I need to know, is what card TV Tuner/Capture internal should I go for as the Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 does not work well beyond 4 GB of RAM. To use it, so I need to limit my RAM less than 4 GB.
The quality is good enough to view and capture. But I don't want to use the work around or reduce my RAM.

Please suggest me a good internal TV Tuner/Capture card that works with my PC config and allow good capture. I also intend to upgrade to Windows 7

Current models available in India:
Hauppauge WinTV USB2-Stick TV TUNER CARD
Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1100 internal
Hauppauge TV Tuner card
Hauppauge Win TV PVR USB2 MCE Kit - OEM
Hauppauge MediaMVP
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-350 TV Tuner card
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500 MCE TV Tuner card
Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 MCE Kit - OEM

Note: I have a Coolermaster CM690(Mid-tower) because of who I am able to use only one PCI and one PCI-E slot. I need a PCI card. Or external case.

PS. : I can try and a delivery from newegg or amazon to my country

It's really a personal preference type of question.  You might consider contacting the manufacturer is to see the compatibility of Windows 7 is going to be.  Regarding delivery to your country it is a question to ask the retailer you are dealing with. Locutys of Borg

  • LabVIEW compatible capture card

    Hello

A few weeks ago, I ordered a PCI 4 x 4 of the German company Phytec acquisition card. When they were not yet convinced me to buy the thing, they told me how this card works with LabVIEW and that there are many example of screw when I tried to use the card in LabVIEW I failed so I contacted support Phytec.

Support emails we exchanged has been one for the Gallery:

I told her that my capture card does not work with LabVIEW.

He said, LabVIEW is not supported.

I: but I have a few screws that are supposed to work

Him: Where do you have them?

    I: it * link *.

Him: LabVIEW is not supported more we have cleared all the screws on the server.

I'm sorry that my ranting is a bit out of place.

    Here's the point:

I'm looking for a (PCI or PCIe) frame grabber card, with which I can receive signals from 4 cameras analog-connected via cinch directly in LabVIEW. I don't like how it works, it should just work in LV 2010. I have a full bachelor including NI Vision.

So far, I have these cards:

    Matrix Vision Sigma

They told me, they had a driver that works with LabVIEW 6.1. I told them that this could be a problem, but they did not quite understand why. They said that it would work very well, but I have heard this before. The good thing is we can put videos together split on the equipment screen. And I can send it back, if it does not work. But I can't even imagine what will make my deadline.

    The imaging source

According to this thread the imaging source hoarders have worked with LabVIEW.

    Falcon ID

I haven't heard back from them yet.

What do you think of these? Have you had any experience with them or any other card acquisition which can handle 4 cameras? Do you have any other suggestions? Have the cameras in support for work in LabVIEW?

    Thanks for any suggestions.

I have used several maps source of imagery in LabVIEW, but using an ActiveX interface.  No problems.  I am 12 years old and + 4-channel PCIe cards you are watching.  I only got one with a bad channel.  I use videoCapX from fathsoft.com that has several options that didn't IMAQdx for AVI recording directly from the device.

    Good luck.

  • Try to get a USB capture card to work

I just bought a certain T610 more units. I try to get a Hauppauge USB Live-2 capture card to work. I get a driver has not loaded or corrupt the question. I tried this USB on a PC and it works fine. The system is 6.1.7601.286 English. I had a problem earlier with adding users after joining a domain, but found the question. I think it's a problem of permission in system32, but can't seem to find it.  Any help would be great.

Without worrying if PCI or USB, the OS for TV Tuner compatible components is not present in the image.

  • H.264 capture card edition

    Hello

I know that the standard flow of publication for DVR live is:

    Capture card (raw video sample) > > > > > > GFFE > > > > > > FMS

The problem is, the output of the sample capture card video raw format and the GFFE do the job of coding. It increases the processor load.

    I think it is:

Some capture cards do not support DirectShow output filter, but it provides a native interface to get the card H.264 encoding.

Acquisition card can encode the video in H.264 by clips on the map and there is no cost on CPU

Then, if I can publish the H.264 encoded card for FMS in my program.  which will not increase the CPU load.

    Capture card (H.264) > > > > > > My App > > > > > > > FMS

How to send frames H.264 to FMS?

Open a video channel, then send that H.264 images one by one?

And which client / library if I use?

Adobe RTMP SDK, how much does the permit cost? my project is just a tiny and we cannot pay a lot on it.

Then the only choice is RTMPClient Red5?

    Thank you

Yes, you will need to send data to FMS via RTMP - so you should use RTMP SDK for it. I don't know a lot about customer Red5.

With regard to cost of RTMP SDK is concerned - again I don't have the data, but I can ask someone to contact you if you are really interested. In this case drop in mail me at [email protected] with your details

I would like to upgrade computer (add) USB-3 to my existing. Which USB-3 PCI card (make and model) would be compatible with my computer?   Is there anything that should be avoided?   The card may only be installed or is there some other changes/upgrades necessary to make it work correctly?

    #HPExpertDay

Yes, you can add USB 3.0, but it would work in 2.0 as the motherboard must be able to do.

So you would need a powered USB hub.

  • To increase the flow of a Basler Cameralink Camera (A504K) with a capture card PCIE-1429 card

    Hello

I use a monochrome camera of Cameralink Basler A504K-resolution 1280 x 1024 with a capture card PCIE-1429 (x 4 slots) card. The image acquisition is controlled by MAX of LabVIEW version 11.0.1. The problem is that when I try to reduce the number of lines (specifically height) 1024-32 (for example) in the window of acquisition (from MAX), the frame rate of the camera is expected to increase to almost 16, 000fps. But it does not go beyond 248fps. Can you suggest me, why is he so past, or how to increase his pace? In addition, under the image window has appeared has something like: 1 X 8-bit 1280 x 32 9 image. That 1 X means here? For your reference, I am also attaching the image of the purchase window.

    Thank you!

    Hi Római,

Change the height of your image in MAX will not increase the rate of your acquisition - the camera always sends the same number of lines per image, you said just the software to stop their playing earlier.  The following image still occurs until the next edge FVAL.

1 x at the bottom tells you view the image at 1 x magnification.  In MAX, you can zoom in and out, and this indicator lets you know your current zoom level.

  • Problem with setting window of acquisition on 1429 PCIe capture card

    Hi all

Recently, I am using the Basler A504k camera with card PCIe-1429 of goodwill for the acquisition of images at high speed. I found problems with setting the acquisition window in the capture card using Measurement & Automation Explorer.

    1. for example, if the size of the original image is 1280 * 500, if I put the window of acquisition with left 0 and width 1280, everything is OK, but if I set the width to 1279, there will be an error (error 0xBFF6002C FIFO overflow caused the acquisition of stop), if I set the width multiple of 8, there was no error. Could someone tell me why in this case, is it because the packet data transfer for acquisition card rule?

    2. the window of acquisition is set according to the camera image, right? If the camera has also a function of area of interest, the acquisition window setting is always the image coming from the camera.

Attachment is my setting a MAX software.

    Thank you very much

    Hi xiaochunfly,

My bet is 1280 pixels image size is aligned on 32 bytes, and the material may actually go from line to line without breaking the transfers. With the width of the non-aligned countries, he needs to start a new transfer on each line, and this has an additional load on the PCIe bus and the system memory bus. Currently infrastructure IMAQ trying to adjust to any size of border/size possible image regardless of efficiency, it take the material and changes in recent processor Intel chipsets have reduced effectiveness with system memory bus performs under these conditions. So, you can get much better performance if you use line widths. You can also get the latest IMAQ driver because there was changes in the latest few transfer more effective under some of these conditions.

AOI is usually under the framegrabber. If you reduce the AOI who sends the camera, it seems often identical to the framegrabber as if you just had a camera with a smaller sensor. Thus, your AOI in IMAQ must be set to the size of that the camera is sending, unless for some reason you want to capture less of what the camera is able to set up on its own.

original title: how to revive plug-n-play

I recently got a Roxio capture card and everything works fine on it, but my other computer, Dell Optiplex, could not manage it so I fell on my lenovo thinkpad and plug the device into the usb port but I forgot to install the CD it came with the first plug-n-play came with "no driver found". so now I installed it on here, but when I re home acquisition card, Plug n play dosent come up. and I tried to use the add hardware feature but could not find my device (more I didn't know really what it would be under).

is there a way to reset plug n play or something, so I can install it with the pilot who is now on there?

    BTW, both running win7

    Hi Sonrio,

Welcome to Microsoft Community where you can find all the answers related to Windows.

According to the description, it looks like the game capture card Roxio is not detected in Windows.

I have a couple of steps that should help you with this problem.

    Method 1:

If your computer is having problems with a recently installed device or other hardware, try to use the hardware and peripheral troubleshooting tool to solve the problem. It checks the common issues of interest and ensures that a new device or hardware connected to your computer has been installed correctly.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

Try to connect the card somewhere else USB and check.

I hope this helps. If you have questions more related to Windows, feel free to post here at Microsoft Community.

Ah, so you're out of luck. First only capture via firewire.

    Hi Joop,

    ·         The TV tuner appears in the devices under sound, video controllers Manager?

    ·         Your TV tuner card is updated?

Follow the suggestions below for a possible solution:

Method 1: Look for errors in Device Manager

    a. open the Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.

    b. in Device Manager, look for the device, then double click on the name of the device.

    c. the general tab look for the status of the device for any error code indicated.
