Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

If the above does not fix it:

  • Omen of HP: HP Omen control "Enable the touchpad while typing" resets on reboot

Hey, I just got a new laptop HP Omen and it works for the large majority. However, I was annoyed buy the touchpad is disabled while typing (because it took a few moments to re-activation, making it difficult to edit documents quickly, jumping from one section to another). I have seen that there is a setting for this in the control of presage software and I enabled it, and it works temporarily. But when I restart the laptop, the setting is enabled is no longer, and you need to re - activate yourself. This doesn't happen to other settings, such a deactivation of the windows key, which remain after the restart, but isn't the touchpad setting. Is it possible to fix this?

    Thank you

Thank you very much, I didn't know that this setting could also be found under the touchpad settings. I turned to SmartSense (detection of palm + keyboard delay) and it solved half of the problem. However, the touchpad settings don't also save on reboot. There were messages on this before, such as:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-systems-and-software/Synatics-touchpad-v7-5-settings-not-saving-after-Windows-10/TD-p/5177065/page/5

The final solution to this position, changing a value of resistry, worked for me, and now the settings remain saved. So thanks to you and which after.

  • Satellite R850 - cursor moves at random while typing

I use this R850 because it was provided by the work.
I found it almost as frustrating as the HP, I got to my previous job... and it's for the same reasons!

-The cursor moves randomly, then when typing I find I type completely in the wrong place.
-It removes random pieces of my work - particularly frustrating on a web page where there is no "undo" button
-When you use functions like drag in the editor, or highlight text, the touchpad is not always cooperative.
-Some random/spaces etc. letters do not occur despite proper pressure.

Quite frankly, it takes too much time to do things and I want to throw out of a dam in a deep lake.

No liquid has been spilled on it.
Are no crumbs in the keyboard.
This seems to be a defective product as the "HP Elitebook" I got last year!

This happened to me because I accidentally touched the touchpad while typing.
In my case I could solve this annoying problem issue but the option settings: disable the touchpad while typing.

This setting should be available in Control Panel-> mouse-> avancΘs

The other option is to disable the touch pad using the function key

  • Tecra A4: coursor jumps while typing

When you type on the keyboard, with no indication, the slider repositions to somewhere else.

As I am a touch typist and not look at the keyboard or screen, it can cause me some problems of approximate return.

Does anyone know a fix for this problem, the Tecra is only a few months old and shouldn't do that.

    Hello

I had the same problem with another laptop.
To be honest it wasn't a problem but simply a mistake while typing.

    It's a case key.

  • M30: Keyboard delay

I have a M30 and when I type the typing is delayed, I stop and let it catch up all the time. Sometimes is streaches accuracy of typing and sometimes the cursur jumps to a section in the middle of the text.
I'm not in contact with the cushion, no mater how fast or slow, I type, wether I'm in word or Explorer, it always does.

I used the operating system provided with the laptop and I reformatted in a different version of Windows XP with a different version of the word, and it still happens. It's as if the CPU is not fast enough, even if it's a 1.5 ghz centrino.

I also put in the bios for the processor to run at full speed all the time.

    Help me I am confused

    Hello

Check it please all processes running in the Task Manager. I guess the HARD drive activity slows down typing speed.

I had similar problem while antivir application runs. Believe me I have removed from the system and now everything works fine. Now I use antivir Antivir Personal Edition easier application and the it HDD unclaimed at all.

  • txt while typing interference (causes for her)

I'm trying to find the text starts while I type interference. My computer is new, so there is really no reason for this.

It would be useful to elaborate a little bit on what you mean by "interference" while I type.  Words move on your screen whenever you press a letter or a different letter pop - up on your screen as the key you pressed on?  You can see the effect of the latter if you go to:

    Control Panel-> locale->

and change your keyboard to 'US' in 'DVORAK '.  With the exception of 'A' and 'm', which causes different letters to appear while you type - which could be interpreted as "interference".  You can verify that you have the correct keyboard selected for your region.

If you have a laptop, your wrist sometimes comes in contact with the touchpad while typing, causing your cursor move the strike so that you end up typing in a different location than expected.  Solutions to this problem include "TouchFreeze '.

  • Why my cursor jump to another area of the page if I stop while typing?

Using windows xp pro, IE 8, while typing, if I pause or stop thinking, sometimes my cursor will move to another area on the page.  If I go back to typing, letters will start to appear when the cursor is, it is very random and only moves to the area on the page where I already typed, sometimes in the middle of a Word.

    Thank you annie...

    Hi AnnieSaub,

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2. the problem only happens when you use internet explorer 8?

    3. you use USB keyboard or computer laptop touchpad?

4 when was the last time it was working fine?

If the problem only occurs when you use Internet explorer 8 then try the steps below.

    Method 1

Check if Add-ons installed on the Internet explore is the origin of the problem. I suggest that you try to open Internet explorer without modules and check if the problem persists.

    (a) click the Start button, click all programs, and click Accessories

    (b) click System Tools, click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).

How the modules of the browser affect my computer?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/how-do-browser-add-ons-affect-my-computer

Note: Above article is also applicable to the Windows XP operating systems.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then try to reset the internet settings explore by default and check.

For more information please visit the link below.

How to reset Internet Explorer settings

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/923737

Important: Reset Internet explore its default configuration. This step will disable also any add-ons, plug-ins or toolbars that are installed. Although this solution is fast, it also means that, if you want to use one of these modules in the future, they must be reinstalled.

  • While typing cursor sometimes does not work as expected

While typing cursor sometimes goes to the next tab or the end of the paragraph. Characters are removed automatically.

Cursor sometimes goes in the middle of the sentence. It is very difficult to write anything.

Keyboard works in a weird way

It is likely that your keyboard is a failure.

If yours is a desktop computer, the solution is very simple and cheap.  Replace it.

If yours is a portable computer, the solution is more expensive and difficult because it requires the services of a competent technician to disassemble the PC until a failure can be deleted and a new facility.  Warning, ensure that exactly the correct replacement is used.

Another solution for a laptop that is easier and less expensive, but not so nice is to simply plug a USB external keyboard.

  • Text cursor disappear while typing

I've noticed since I've upgraded to CC (from CS5) that whenever I type in Dreamweaver the input cursor (cursor) text disappears until I published all the keys on the keyboard. It is a little aggravating while typing, but does not have to hold down the arrow key to move the cursor to a certain number of spaces. As it goes so that the button is kept pressed, I do not know to what extent he moved until I release the button.

I use Dreamweaver CC 13.1 on Windows 8 Pro. My video drivers are up to date (another thread suggested this).

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    Hi mate

I read on this issue of cursor on the different laptop models (from different manufacturers).
But in most cases, the users didn't note that the touchpad was accidentally while typing of touchpad.
You said you checked this hmm but in any case, try to disable the touchpad while typing just for test purposes

In addition, some have said that the BIOS update can also be useful
So if the most recent BIOS is available, updated it!
