Whileusing Windows 7 crashes Firefox (Graphics Driver has stopped working successfully and corrected)
My problem is that my Windows 7 freezes and crashes completely while surfing on the internet on Firefox.
Sometimes, it displays a message: "ATI Graphics Driver has stopped working and successfully recovered."
I use a Dell Inspiron N5010 laptop.
Windows 7 (64 bit) - all the latest updates are installed.
14.1 Firefox (latest) - all the flash player and other plugins are updated to their latest version.
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics card
Card drivers are: aticfx64 aticfx64 aticfx64 aticfx32 aticfx32 aticfx32 atiumd64 atidxx64 atidxx64 atiumdag atidxx32 atidxx32 atiumdva atiumd6a atitmm64
The only solution is to restart the computer or disable in Firefox hardware acceleration.
The arrows on the websites like Facebook.com and Google.com becomes rectangle, triangle, when I turn the anisotropic offshore screening of ATI Catalyst Control Center.
So what to do?
Any correction or suggestion?
Or should I disable the Hardware Acceleration of Firefox? :(

Try to uninstall the old version of the graphics driver Intel or by reinstalling fix it. Qosmio X 70 - graphics driver has stopped working, but has recovered
IM using a laptop Qosmio X 70 but when im using Photoshop to edit photos, I get a window telling me that the "graphics card stopped working but recovered", but the one to get Photoshop working again is closing in the Device Manager, then everything that I have worked on pop up is lost ,
How can I fix it if it does not happen?
What graphics card driver do you mean exactly?
The fact is that Qosmio X 70 - a models were equipped with an external graphics (nVidia) and the Intel CPU provides additional internal Intel HD graphics (according to the CPU)
Since the application Photoshop needs a lot of graphics performance (RAM), it would be desirable to use the NVidia GPU for execution using the Photoshop software.
I recommend you to change the settings for nVidia and assign the photoshop to nVidia GPU.
The setting can be changed in the nVidia control panelThere, you must choose the "manage 3D settings" (can be found on the left in the nVidia control panel)
Now in the main window, you will find two tabs "Global settings" and "program parameters".
In the 'Program settings' tab select the application (Photoshop) that should use the nVIdia GPUIf it is not listed, click the Add button
Then choose the graphic processor preferred for this program (generally must be nVidia processor high performance)In "specific settings for this program", you can assign additional features to improve performance.

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

NVIDIA graphics driver has stopped from working properly.
well, I have a HP pavilion dv6000 with windows vista. my laptop has a recurring problem: the screen stop working there are lines everywhere and the mouse becomes what looks like a saw. You must restart it or put it to sleep. It keeps recurring more frequently and after about 3 - 5 times, the computer will not restart in any. Ive done system restore, and then when I'm running again, he looked for a solution to the problem. I received this message:
«NVIDIA graphics driver has stopped to work properly.» an update of the driver, as appropriate, could prevent this problem does not happen. "and then there's a list of about 5 options on how to update. I did the first two (check the windows automatically updated and manually update the driver). Update Windows provided nothing driver associated. When I went to update manually, it says the best driver is already installed. When I had clicked on my driver it says that everything was working properly.
This has happened several times, ive just saved and deleted most all of my computer.
Here's my driver information:

Hi Jeroen,
I think that your problem is related to overheating rather than a defective display driver. The idea here is that it takes several attempts to reboot, giving the unit time to cool.
I suggest that you try to remove all dust and debris from your radiator and see if it improves the stability of your units. You can download a copy of your display driver of: -.
