White noise

I just bought a new pair of headphones (Gioteck HC3) and from the moment wherever I plugged there was a constant white noise. I don't mind a quiet white noise of semi, but my new helmet currently make a high pitched noise high. I just need a way to significantly reduce the noise.

================================================================

If the above does not resolve the problem then there is either a problem with the audio drivers.
audio peripherals on the computer, or the helmet.

Check with your motherboard manufacturer for the system/updates for audio drivers (also updated
BIOS, chipset and other great pilots while there). Check with their online support
documentation and ask questions in the forums about known problems.

And check with the support for headphones.

I hope this helps.

  • Portege R600 - white noise problem

My Toshiba Portege R600-102 a constant white noise (as you can hear on http://bit.ly/7HaRfn), which becomes apparent when the computer is used with headphones or connected to a speaker.

This happens with the latest audio drivers under Windows XP and Windows 7.

The noise does not disappear when I turn off the microphone or disable the onboard sound of the Device Manager.

In fact, when I connect the laptop to a PA system pro (Edirol UA-101 with Yamaha MSP5) via USB, I get the same noise from Yamaha! That tells me that there is probably a fundamental problem with the motherboard.

  • Dynadock - USB Audio broken broken kaput (white noise)

don't know what caused this, but I use a Dynadock until Monday USB audio was fine then it started making a sound crackling white. I thought was temporary as was just leaving work but in return today is to do the same thing. A bit of google leads me to think that this is not uncommon.

I reinstalled Dynadock software (latest version of the Toshiba site)
I reinstalled the sound drivers Conexant (latest version from the Toshiba site - but don't think it's the last according to update Vista - did I mention Vista?)  ;) and works fine
After a lot of research because it doesn't seem to be available on the Toshiba site I found a Driver and installed 106 C Media (which is what it was before), and the white noise is still there.

    I guess it's a Vista / driver issue?

Includes also means there is no way round without any system restore to a previous point and hope it goes away, then select each update
or wait for a new driver, but without knowing who owns or when it might be?

Is there an alternative? I use the cradle most of the time so it is a real pain in the rear.

Not a happy Bunny! Can anyone help please? What is someone having the same problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Tim

Your ad is quite confusing, and I cannot understand what you did and wrote about all the audio drivers. In my opinion, you should own Dynadock installation and configuration.

Disconnect the Dynadock from the system and remove all the stuff pre-installed. Download Vista Dynadock Utility 2.3 c correctly. Follow the on-screen menu and please, do not interrupt utility installation.

Dynadock Utility will install all the stuff you need, and I hope that you will be able to reuse this nice external device. Of course, I hope that the sound will be OK again.

  • MOTOROLA PHOTON Q 4 G LTE white noise

Lately while listening to music on my phone from SD card or via Pandora/Slacker, I hear what I can only describe as white noise. I remember back when I got the Droid 2 Global, this has been caused by the presence of Audio effects on so I have not turned them on my current phone.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have not tried all the other apps other than Winamp, I installed an app called Equalizer and it seems to help a little. White noise is still visible, but not too serious, I can live with that.

  • RF: Adding white noise to a stream IQ

    Hi all

As the title said, I seek to add noise to an IQ stream. I found that there is a VI in the RF range called NIFPGARFfp add AWGN which creates a scale factor to be applied to the skirts of my carrier signal noise. This scale is truncated up to the value of RMS of signal strength. I am wanting to change this VI to generate white noise for all the signaland that the user inserts the desired scale factor. Any ideas on that?

Finally, I feel that NEITHER truncated the level of white noise for some reason. Any thoughts on it? Ultamately, I would like to see if my signal can still be read/answer key with high levels of noise.

    Hello

Thanks for posting on the forums!

What equipment do you use? I was able to find this post from the community, which you may find useful: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-30500

Unfortunately, I'm not sure what would be the reason to truncate the level of white noise.

  • PXI_Add GAUSSIAN additive white noise to a carrier generated using NI RFSG mode of arbitrary waveforms

    Hello!

Does anyone know how to add AWGN carrier generated using NI RFSG?
I know how to generate a signal CW using NI RFSG arbitrary signals mode (see attached file), but I have not found out yet how to add AWGN to it.

    Thank you!

    Aina

    Hi Aina,

I can always be understanding not completely exactly what you ask. So in my example I gave you, we add the additive white noise GAUSSIAN on both I and Q tables separately. What you are looking for is actually add noise to the signal after he was upconvertis. Does this sound right? With our equipment, it is not possible because the baseband I / data Q are mixed with the carrier in the material as the last step before that it is generated. To add the additive white GAUSSIAN noise after the signal has been on the carrier you would need a noise generator. The best you can do is add the additive white GAUSSIAN noise to the baseband I / Q, then upconvert it based on the carrier frequency, you specify in RFSG. Let me know if this has been helpful for you.

  • Dell Inspiron 15r white noise 5537 - helmet

    Hello

A week ago I bought an Inspiron 15r 5537 brand new, and I just for the first time used with the laptop headphone. However, whenever I tried to use the headset with the mobile there is a significant amount of white noise emitted by the helmet (in a volume which is sufficient to divert the attention of audio playback).

White noise starts when the audio is released and continues even when the audio is paused (or ends), but cut abruptly from 5 to 10 seconds after the end of the audio...

Laptops have the speakers don't emit white noise: when my headphones are plugged in fact that the problem occurs.

    Any help would be appreciated?

    See you soon,.

    Scott.

P.S., Computers are not particularly my area of expertise, so no simple statement would be ideal for my brain to benet...

Scott, it seems to be a problem with this model. Here is the main thread where the owners have discussed the issue for 6 months without any resolution. Some say that you use the Windows driver audio native gets rid of the noise, but others say that it does not help. If you want to install the native driver, this is one of the ways to do this:

    1. open Device Manager (type devmgmt.msc in the start search box and press ENTER) and then right-click on "Realtek High Definition Audio" in the sound... Category of controllers.

2 Select this option to "Update driver software". [This screen shot is of a different model that IDT audio - yours will be "Realtek High Definition Audio".]

    3. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".

    4. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers on my computer".

    5. put the "Show compatible hardware" check box if not already checked.

    6. in the list of devices, click on 'High Definition Audio'.

    7. click on "next".

    8. in the update driver warning box, click 'Yes' (the driver).

9 restart the portable computer if you are prompted. If not invited, so no need to restart.

    10. to reinstall the Realtek driver, repeat the process but select the Realtek driver to step 6.

Note that even if you use the native driver eliminates the noise, he may not be a satisfactory solution because it is a generic driver that lacks some of the features of the pilot of the provider.

Don't forget that there is a short return period during which you can return your defective laptop. After the expiry of this period, your remaining option is to obtain the warranty service, but a solution could not be achieved.

  • White noise from speakers

I recently installed Cubase as part of my university course.

The sound works well in Cubase, but now whenever a system of sound or any other playback sound is indicated I get white noise.

The volume mixer seems functional and green bars seem to respond as if the sounds were correct.

I guess that Cubase invoked his own driver, or something and has not put in place.

    Any help is appreciated!

Just for test, try to uninstall this software and restart your PC and check if the problem happen again?

If so, report it to the Publisher of the software.

    Hello Forum,

I have problems to make audio omf for protools. When I export the format omf using wav 16 bit 48 kHz using the audio file separated with handles on my media the resuting protools session reads as white noise. All the waveforms look correct in Pro Tools, and I can navigate the .wav files generated by first and these fine reading, but not in the protools session.

Does anyone else have this problem? any suggestions?

I also tried to export only 1 clip to the timeline using aiff and integrated, and I get the same problem.

I tried using 24 bit as well and had the same problem,

and then I discovered the problem.

ProTools don't like the external drive on the media's! Probably because it's a RAID.

Once I have copied media to another drive, it works as it should!
