Who fooled to uninstall programs?
My PC has too many programs installed. I'll start the process of cutting down with programs that may be duplicates, older versions of the same thing, or simply not essential. I've included a link to an edited screen capture and I am interested in suggestions that on the list can be removed...

Super slow computer after uninstalling programs...
I recently had strange problems with my system. They include:
- Before, when I left my computer for a bit, it goes into sleep mode and displays my screensaver. Now, instead of showing my screensaver, it only shows my wallpaper. Nothing else. No internet browsing software, no icons. My paper just painted. There are a few times when my screensaver appears but only about 1 in 5 times.
- I put my computer to ask me a password when I wake. But the password dialog box is not displayed when I move the mouse. I have to enter Ctrl + Alt + Del to force the dialog box to appear. I'm positive, I put my computer so that I don't have to use Ctrl + Alt + Delete, but it does not work. And sometimes the command does not work yet. I can stay there and keep only typing for an hour and nothing would happen.
- Programs to take a long time to start. Microsoft Word used to load in 1 or 2 minutes, but now I have to wait 5-10 minutes.
- Web pages take a long time to load. It should take only a few seconds at most, but now it takes a few minutes for a page to load. I don't have the best Internet service but I am sure that shouldn't be that slow. 3 weeks, everything worked fine. Last week, all these problems began to occur. I changed my ISP 5 months ago and the Internet was going well so far. I tried to clear my cache, delete my history and cookies, but nothing works.
- I use Google Chrome as my browser, and when I try to search something in the Omnibox (aka the address bar), it takes forever to load. I have to go to www.google.com and type my search in there. My default search provider is Google, but I don't understand why the site works very well but is not the address bar.
- On Facebook, I can't comment on, such as updates, see all the comments on a post, or see my notifications. When I click the button I like or click on "View all comments" on a post, it does nothing. I click a few times more, but it does nothing. The same thing happens when I click on my Notifications at the top. Nothing happens. And when I click on the chat on the bottom bar to see who is online. No effect. Is this something to do with Java? I have the latest version of Java, Adobe Flash Player and Adobe Shockwave Flash.
These problems started occurring just after that I uninstalled a few programs on my computer. They were in a few games and The Weather Channel Desktop App. If anything, uninstall programs should make my computer faster; no more slow. I have AVG antivirus installed and I've scanned my computer already and I have not all infections.I use Windows XP and have the latest Service Pack installed (it was 4 SP...?). My computer is somewhat old (I got it in 2005). I have a HDD AMD with maximum capacity of 40 GB. 1.70 GHz Intel Celron processor and about 220 MB of RAM then that I write this. It is quite old compared to new laptops nowadays (they have 400 GB Intel hard drives with 4 GB of RAM).I have AVG would eliminate for a while and see how things seem to be of course use their uninstaller from here:
http://www.Avg.com/us-en/utilities
You can always reinstall AVG later if yo have to do (I don't would be not so constrained).
If you are worried about an infection, disconnect the Internet after uninstalling AVG, then see how to open your Word documents and other features with AVG off the image.
If you are worried about not having protection AV install Microsoft Security Essentials . MSE completed with MBAM and SAS is pretty good protection and has low overhead.
If she was not so freakin ' complicated to upload a screenshot here, it would be nice to see the Manager of tasks sorted by the CPU column) descending) when the system malfunctions.
Maybe someone will post this link on how to do that - I never found and it makes me sick to even read. I am spoiled to work in the Big Boy forums where things such as viewing the screenshots are just a click away...
Here's one way:
To create and send/post/print capture screen or a screenshot:
Press the Print Scrn button to copy your entire screen to the Windows Clipboard.
Press Alt Print Scrn to copy the active window to the Windows Clipboard.
Open MS Paint:
Start, programs, accessories, paint
When the painting opens, press CTRL + V to paste the Clipboard, save the new file in paint on your desktop or somewhere that you remember. JPG files take up less disk space than BMP files and are just as readable.
Make screen captures as much as you want. Practice makes perfect. Make sure that your screenshot does not contain personal information. Practice the visualization of your images before you send them to make sure they agree.
Some sites will allow you to attach a file directly on your post, but not the MS Answers forums. If the site has a sort of piece attachment/upload function it is usually easier just to use it.
If there is no such function in your forum to download files, then use a third-party free hosting site WWW image.
Create a free account on some free photo hosting website. You can always delete your account later if you wish. Here are some free image hosting sites:
http://www.imageshack.us/
http://Photobucket.com/
With your free account, download your screenshot (s) (JPG or BMP files) on the site and it is up to you to a URL (Direct link) for your new images that you can paste the link directly in the post message, e-mail, etc.Send this web address link live here in your answer, and we can click on the address of the link and see your screenshot. After as many times as you need - the sites are free.
When you are finished, the link that you post here should look like this my poor system:

Some are obvious (such as games and other), but there is so much and I'm not computer savvy. Help, please. Give me a list for computer idiots or something. Thanx.

Hello
There is no list of what you don't need.
We don't know what programs you have, or what you use.
It is your personal choice.

See if this helps you improve performance.
Search for malicious software with the FREE version of this program.
And does not accept the option "Pay for the version" trial installation
Download, install, update and scan your system with the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware:

You can clean your hard drive using these two methods.

Using the free CCleaner program:

Read it in conjunction with the rest of the information they give link above.
Note
If SFC could not fix something, then run the new command to see if it can be able to next time. Sometimes, it can take by running the sfc/scannow command 3 times restart the PC after each time completely fix everything what he is capable of.
If this isn't the case, then run Dism/online/Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth to repair any corruption component store, restart the PC later and try the sfc/scannow command.
If still no, then try using ONE OPTION above to run the command sfc/scannow at the start
If still no, then you could do a Refresh of Windows 8, or run a System Restore using a restore point dated before the wrong file occurred to fix. You may need to repeat doing a restore of the system until you find a restore point that is older that may work.
If not yet, then you can use the steps in the TIP box in the section THREE OPTION to manually replace the files SFC could not fix.

Refresh your PC goes like this:
- The PC starts in Windows RE (Recovery Eenvironment).
- Windows RE scans the hard drive for your data, settings, and applications and puts them aside (on the same drive).
- Windows RE installs a new copy of Windows.
- Windows RE restores the data, settings, and applications, which it set aside in the newly installed copy of Windows.
- The PC reboots into the newly installed copy of Windows.

Windows 8 will be reinstalled, and you need to change any settings, and then reinstall all the apps you want to come back after the reset. Photosmart c4795: impossible to FIND MY PRINTER UNINSTALL PROGRAM
I want to uninstall and reinstall my printer, but it is not in my uninstall programs. What is HP Photo creations, HP Support Solutions Framework and HP update. It appears in my devices and printers with a yellow triangle next to her. When I installed it with the cd, something went wrong, because I do not have the Toolbox or the window that tells me how much ink is left. Troubleshooting said I don't have the complete solution software and downloaded it but it didn't work so I want to try to uninstall and reinstall, but like I said my printer is not displayed to uninstall. I am running Windows 7 64 bit. I also installed Revo uninstaller and it has not posted there either. Any help will be appreciated.
I figured out I was going to click where it says install the software and then I could click on printer. Thank you very much.

I want to uninstall a program and I hit the wrong button and blocked the uninstall program. Now, I can not uninstall the program. What can I do to unlock the program?
Hello
You should be able to "unlock" this program in your firewall allowing him access.
Please take a look at this link to watch a tutorial on how to allow access to programs through your firewall.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-GB/Windows7/allow-a-program-to-communicate-through-Windows-Firewall
This requires that you are running Windows 7. If you use a different version of Windows, the exact steps may differ.

Hello
You can uninstall a program from your computer if you no longer use, or if you want to free up space on your hard drive. You can use the programs and features to uninstall programs or to change the configuration of the program by adding or removing certain options.
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/uninstall-or-change-a-program
Open programs and features by clicking on the button start , by clicking on the Control Panel, click programs, and then click programs and features.
Select a program and then click on uninstall. Some programs include the ability to modify or repair the program in addition to uninstall. but many simply offer the option uninstall. To change a program, click on change or repair. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Uninstalling programs... Should I or shouldn't I
While he was trying to improve the performance of my pc, I've pulled up to see what I could uninstall programs. I noticed that there are programs that I does not recognize. They were as follows:, Cisco LEAP module, module Cisco PEAP module Cisco EAP-FAST. I don't know what they are for. Please help, before I make something irreversible.
Hello
Those used for authentication network so let install them.
LEAP Lightweight Extensible Authentication Protocol is a patented LAN wireless authentication method developed by Cisco Systems. Important features of JUMP are dynamicWEP keys mutual authentication (between a wireless client and server aRADIUS). LEAP allows clients to authenticate again frequently; each successful authentication, customers acquire a new WEP key (with the hope that the WEP keys do not live long enough to be broken). JUMP can be configured to use TKIP instead of dynamic WEP.
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightweight_Extensible_Authentication_ProtocolPEAP, also known as Protected EAP or simply PEAP, is a protocol that encapsulates the Protocol EAP (Extensible Authentication) in a Tunnel of Security TLS (Transport Layer) encrypted and authenticated. The goal was to correct the deficiencies in the EAP; EAP took a secure channel, such as that provided by the physical security, so the facilities for the protection of the EAP conversation has not been provided.
http://en.Wikipedia.org/wiki/Protected_Extensible_Authentication_ProtocolEAP-FAST (Flexible Authentication via Secure Tunneling) is a protocol proposal byCisco systems as a replacement for the JUMP

Impossible to uninstall programs in Control Panel
I'm in the Control Panel, try to uninstall programs. There are several programs that I can't uninstall. When highlighting these programs do not give me the button uninstall or the buttons change or repair. They show the name of the program and the size of the program. They take place on my hard drive and I do not use them. Even when I go to remove the icon, it opens a window which says removing the icon, it is not uninstall the program. How is it, I can't uninstall these programs?
