who is trusted Installer

who is trusted Installer? that made my computer takes the permissions away from me and I can't make any changes. It becomes so bad I reinstall the operating system and start all over again. Wifi is shared where I live, but I don't know how to tell if it's a person or a virus that kills my system. Can someone give me help with the hunt for who or what this can be. I have my suspicions, but don't want to blame someone who doesn't deserve it. This happened for months and is the same thing over and over again. Please help Kevin. Thank you.

  • Why many programs have all permissions to "Trusted Installer"?

    Original title: program permissions

Can someone explain to me why many of my programs grant all permissions to "Trusted Installer" and that this entity, it is that I as administrator does not know of? That is why it is said in my Panel"unspecified 53"?  Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit OS.

    Hello

This will explain some of what he does:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/968440/en-us

Windows Vista TrustedInstaller service is responsible for the installation of the updates on Windows Vista.  When a set of fixes must be applied, some of them will need a reboot.  When they need a restart, they are placed in a queue pending. A pending.xml file is generated contains information about the update to apply.  Then the value of the service Startup is on Manual Automatic so that when the system is started, the service is started and that it drains the queue.

    See you soon.

  • A programme called trust Installer has my computer now how can I solve this

I download a program by the Trusted Installer and it seems that it is the owner of my computer with some files it says I need permission of the Trusted Installer to make changes to this file

    Hello

    Please, try the following:

    1
right click on the file or directory that gives you the permission issues.

2 right click and select 'Properties'.

3 once inside the properties, select the 'Security' tab.

    4
once inside the Security tab, select the "Advanced" option at the bottom.

5 once in the "Advanced Security Dialog" window, click on the tab "Owner" .

6 is where you can see the current owner (Trusted Installer).

7 if you want to take ownership of that file or directory, click 'Edit'. UAC will ask you for permission, say Yes. Then, highlight the user name in the window "Change owner" that you want to assign as the new owner for this file or directory. Click 'OK' to finish.

8 then, in the window "advanced security settings" , you see now that the owner has changed to that you specified. Click 'OK' to close this window and select "OK" once more to complete.

    9. follow the steps 1 to 4 to open the 'Properties' window for the file or directory once more.

10 once inside the 'Properties' window again once, click the "Edit" button and say yes to UAC.

11 to highlight the Administrators in the "group or user names" box. If the user ID or group that you want to manage permissions for said file or directory does not exist, click on 'Add' and type the user name that you want to have full control regarding the file or directory.

12 once inside the permissions for the directors (or the username you chose), select "Full Control" under the "Allow" column. Click 'OK' to finish.

    Kind regards

    Hello

Method 1, the only option is to upgrade the operating system. Unfortunately there is no alternative workaround.
  • Why MS gives exclusive rights to this d!@#$% of "Trusted Installer? I'm a big boy and it's MY PC, and if I want to delete the useless langs, it is MY right on MY PC!

Win 7 just won't let NOT someone set up THEIR OWN system. Win 8 never goes to save themselves after MS $200 for this horrible os load. MS need to come up with a patch to get rid of the (United Nations) bloatware trusted Installer! Trusted Installer needs to go, as yesterday!

Because no Government or company planning to buy Windows if it did not include such a feature. For Microsoft, this consideration overrides your $200.

  • Why is trusted Installer the owner of the Program Files folder when I'm the only admin who uses my computer?

    Hi winndriver,

Thank you for using answers Forum.

The TrustedInstaller is a process used by Vista. I probably own records so he has the correct permission to install the software in them.

Here is a link to a thread that will show you how to take possession of the file:

  • How to delete files protected by the Trusted Installer?

I change the owner of the installer of confidence to my account, then when I tried to remove it, it says I need permission from my account. WTF, im logged into my account! Help, please!

    Hi imlegend,

Were you able to go through the other troubleshooting steps Sharief K suggested?

You can also try to remove using disk cleanup.  See the following steps thanks to Ronnie Vernon:

Use the Disk Cleanup Wizard to remove this folder.

    1. click on Start, type Disk Cleanup in the search for text box. In the results, click on disk cleanup right-click and select run as administrator option.

    2. in the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box, select the drive where Windows 7 is installed, and then click OK.

    3. click OK to analyze the C: drive.

    4. Click to select the previous Windows installation check box and any other files you want to delete.

    5. click on OK.

    I hope this helps!

  • I got the CS6 for more than a year and now it says I left 24 days in my essay... Why? It was installed on my pc by my former professor who used his installs extra... it wasn't a trial.

My teacher gave me that extra installation for PC for more than one year for the whole package CS6. Only a few days ago, I use InDesign and had an alert that I got at registration; now it tells me I have 24 days left on my trial period, or I have to buy it. It was a free installation that I had put on my PC in June, why that said that it is a trial which ends in 24 days, and what I can do to prevent this. I run a graphic design of my home business and this is ridiculous!

First, you use an illegal copy... your teacher is allowed two activations on ITS computers, no one on his computer and on a computer that does not

Second, Adobe no longer stand CS6... and certainly would not provide support for an illegal installation

If you had even a demo version of any cloud program read below

Note about what could happen https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1584746 can help

    - and https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1584746

Everything that happens here, the only solution I can think of is to do a reinstall... which is not legal on your computer for the reason that I mentioned above

I would like to become an installer of 'trust' for any future problems. How can I go about it? Thank you

You may have permanently damaged your Windows installation, but it is difficult to decide this question, although an online forum such as this.

You should not have deleted the files of C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-tabletpc (unless you were actually only removing shortcuts).

WinFix is generally regarded as malware--> http://www.spyware-techie.com/winfix-10-removal-guide

I don't use Windows Live Photo Gallery (assuming that's what you are referring), so for the best chance of getting help, you should ask a question here--> http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/gallery-files?sort=lastreplydate&dir=desc&tab=threads&status=all&mod=&modAge=&advFil=&postedAfter=&postedBefore=&threadType=all&tm=1460601829025

Use an object as "Icons of WINSXS in Photo Gallery" and to include a link to this thread--> http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-files/i-would-like-to-become-a-trusted-installer-for-all/488de805-9ca7-4e7c-901f-4b995fe9a6aa?msgId=5890890b-04be-421b-b622-0f839a815360

While you wait for a reply here, follow these steps.

Open the Photo Gallery, then click on the 'File' menu (to the left of the 'Home' menu)

In the menu that opens, click on 'include file '.

In the window that says "Change how this library brings together its content" (one at a time) select every item other than 'My images' and 'Public Photo' and click on 'Remove' and then click OK.

  • Joined to a domain and an administrator remote after the installation of SP1, updated to 10 settings (clean install) then

Wipe the hard disk, reformatted and did a clean install of OS7 home (fossoyées pro hoping group domain policies and etc. would not be a problem).  But they are still there. Reinstalled again.  I can't remove the files manually, give me permission. Loading guard who looks like a fake update file, but I can't delete that either.  I'm at my wits end.  I also have a problem with one of my Outlook email accounts, displaying a string of what looks like a key under my user name.  I have dealt with this for 2 months.  had my machine to two different local mechanics and nothing.  Even exchanged the motherboard and the drive.  How's it relate?  I do not even use the same key.  The only way he could do it is through my network connection. (Disabled Wifi too).

I read something on the Panther Trojan and I do not have a file of Panther on my machine (which again, I can't delete).  I didn't even think that HOME version had this kind of remote administration and yet it moves it. Its load of 32-bit strange file and run it on a 64 bit system.  I don't know what to do from here.  I can't get a version of Windows installed which does not suck up all my processing power and crazy amounts of data transfer.  I pulled out an old HP Pav and am now loading XP on it.  At least I will be able to view and edit files it contains.  I don't think safe, even check my email on this machine. (I use my ipad for that).

Here are the results of the queries from the command line, screenshots and event log shears.   Since I was the last reinstall at about 21:00 there are 294 Logon and created special logons.  Not to mention that I had an another windows machine and one android corrupt their hooking up to my Dungeon phone.  The worst is a 10 years ' worth of my design files holding external drive.  Sighhhhhhh...

IM so sick of looking at this.  Im going to bed and hopefully not dreaming about it.  If someone can tell me how to stop this happening, I would SO appreciate it.  Support for Windows is a joke.

I have run 3 different programs of Virus Scan on it, reformat the drive twice (wiped to zero once), and used three different install media (three different versions of Windows. 0 s 7 home, pro and pro OS7 OS10 (7 pro is what I was running when this began).)  Again, it is after that I paid two services of different repair to diagnose, pull the wireless network card, replace the motherboard and replace the disk.  After that I freaked out on them they began to throw the installation discs and Home keys. lol seriously, I might as well throw my money down a hole. (the key I've finally pulled the machine isn't that I've never owned?) I guess that's why I'm trying so hard to get pure installed, I already so much money in it.  I should probably just give up and load Linux.

If I ever get my hands on this bloody trusted installer it is a dead man. Thanks in advance!

I was looking in the Lenovo Superfish Adware (I have her, much less a Lenovo) and I read an article in PC world who said Superfish installs a root certificate self-produced in the Windows certificate store for trusted root Certification authorities, and then quit all SSL certificates, presented by the HTTPS sites with its own certificate :
