  I'm assuming that you encrypted these files using the available XP Pro Encrypting File System (EFS).  Unless you've backed up your encryption certificates or have a backup of the image-style where you can completely restore your system to exactly how it was, you will have great difficulty to recover these files.  Required for the use of EFS is the short article.  Particularly in the paragraph titled "why you should back up your certificates.

  It is possible that the remains of your old user still exist on your disk.  If so, there a program designed specifically for people in your situation that may be able to retrieve the certificate.  No guarantee, however, but it might be worth trying:

  Sounds like a question of verification on any market that you have bought PS Touch. Have you tried contacting Google and Apple to see what they say?

• Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) is not listed in Services.msc

  I bought a new printer (HP Envy 4502) and it connected wireless to my PC. It prints and copies fine but when I try to scan (the printer and PC), nothing happens - message on printer says "computer does not.

  I tried with my firewall off and still nothing. (Use Bullguard security, windows firewall is disabled).

  After some research more advice is to check if Windows Image Acquisition is on, but when I look in the list of services there is no Windows Image Acquisition - in alphabetical order, he jumps 'Police Windows Cache Service' to 'Windows Installer' (accessible via the command Services.msc)

  I also tried to run sfc/scannow, but who doesn't.

  CHKDSK found no errors.

  I tried to download "Windows_Image_Acquisition.reg" and "RestoreWindowsImageAcquisitionWIAWindows7.bat" without success.

  No, it wasn't. There were a number of effects or even some EXPRESSIONS that would kill multiprocessing. Seriously - the wrong kind of expression could kill and do all the rendering on a single heart. Good luck to know which of your layers in all your precomps to the offending phrase!

  Multiprocessing was a hack several decades old to try to make architecture of ageing of EI to use multi-core processors. When it worked, it was nice, but the system was NOT "fine." In fact, if you have spent a lot of time on these forums over the last years the chorus "broken multiprocessing" would be rather familiar to your ears.

  There are a few pieces of good news:

  1. There is a new version in preparation that will be better than the old. (Finally!)

  2. you can always use multiprocessing now. Simply, open a project in CC 2014 (even if it was created by 2015 CC) and make the. That's what I do. I do use the term better handling, more vivid interface, etc. in 2015 CC, then (if it's a project that would use multiprocessing), I visited in 2014 CC.
