  Microsoft doesn't develop hardware drivers. All hardware drivers coming through Microsoft Updates are provided by the hardware peripheral manufacturers.

  When you install a device and go to Microsoft Updates for a driver, updates will look at the hardware ID of the device and will offer a latest driver from the manufacturer of this device.

  First off, I am not our resident InDesign expert, I am a developer with experience quite a few other products Adobe.

  When it is installed on a machine, twice now our designer was unable to use controls in the bar of 'control' / control on the layout window.

  I thought it was something silly, like an incorrect selection, working with the wrong layer... that sort of thing. It was not something that would be obvious, at least to a power of Illustrator/Photoshop/Fireworks user.

  Well, after messing around with it for awhile, I couldn't find any reason to do so. The only thing I can understand is that the machine, while nine, has a processor that is not listed in the requirements of system for InDesign CS5. To test this, I installed in on a developer machine (more than meets the system requirements) and am unable to reproduce the error.

  My question is this: is there something that would cause this, before I submit to our admins that they need to upgrade his computer brand new to a system that takes in charge the CS5? Any thoughts at all are appreciated.

• When I create a desktop/tablet/phone version of a site, why all the pages are blank?

  I use Muse since jumping on the train of creative cloud a few years ago, but so far my experience has been to maintain and update a desktop version of a few small sites.  I liked the idea to help the creation of separate traces of mobile/tablet/Office (ie the delicate design) of Muse, and last week was my first experience using it as I worked on a regeneration of ground-up of the http://www.eridusociety.org.  I started with a presentation of the phone, with the intention to get this right and then expanding outward to a version of the Tablet, and once it was over, adding a provision of office.

  After completing the mobile site and test it on Business Catalyst (thanks to all those involved in this seamless integration, by the way), I clicked on the + tablet button and began to build on the presentation of the tablet of the site.  To my dismay, all the pages he built were empty.  I tried to remove and re-doing with different combinations of the options checked, does not.  Then I ran out of the web browser the closest and began the search - probably, I missed a step, or the collective brains of the internet could alert me on a way to do this.  Alas, no luck.

  White pages are intentional, and how to fill these blank pages is to return to the configuration of the phone, open the page, and then copy all of the content, then switch back to the presentation of the Tablet and open the corresponding page of the provision of the Tablet and paste the contents of the presentation of the source... and of course, rinse and repeat for both office layout (but for my workflow I copied pages of) available Tablet finished to create the desktop version).

  Also, another great option for this dialog box would let me choose to spend all the page links to the new provision.  In other words, when it copy and glue all the content of the presentation of the source page, Muse would then also update the links to the pages on the site so that they link to the pages of the presentation.  So when I create a version of the phone, then click on + Tablet, I can check a box to copy content from the source page, specify the source and then another box to update the links to the page layout.  After Muse does its magic, I have a provision of the tablet which already has the content of the page on this subject, and this is the link to other pages on the presentation of the Tablet (and not available to source/phone pages).

  Yes, on the one hand it is through advertising networks as the google-owned https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DoubleClick that are embedded on Web sites you visit - however google will record your search history on their default site as explained in resources related by jscher2000 before.

  Using windows xp pro, IE 8, while typing, if I pause or stop thinking, sometimes my cursor will move to another area on the page.  If I go back to typing, letters will start to appear when the cursor is, it is very random and only moves to the area on the page where I already typed, sometimes in the middle of a Word.

  If the problem only occurs when you use Internet explorer 8 then try the steps below.

  Method 1

  Check if Add-ons installed on the Internet explore is the origin of the problem. I suggest that you try to open Internet explorer without modules and check if the problem persists.

  Thanks for the tip.  It turned out that kind Reader has been commissioning in protected mode.  I changed the setting and it prints now as before.

• Firefox is unable to access all the pages of an HTTPS site.

  We have a computer cannot access all the pages on a specific HTTPS site. I don't want to advertise the URL here. "" We can connect to the site and navagate to half pages, but the other half give ' (error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer). We have uninstalled FF and spilled the appdata. Renamed the cert db and he had to recreate. IE working on it from that computer to the website. All computers in the office can access the web site without any problems, some using ESR some with regular FF. This system uses the latest version of FF ESR, but we also tried the regular version. The only thing we haven't tried is disable the AV (Symantic). One thing I noticed, is that the URL of this web site are extremely long.

  Why the FF honors cert for some pages but not others. It also does us not add an exception.

  The first thing I checked was the cert chain, all certificates are valid. Time on computers is very good, the second thing I checked.

  As I said in a previous post, a few pages work, some do not which means that certificates are valid for certain pages, may not be a problem of cert, sometimes they work. Same site also works with IE and chrome on the same systems.

  Cannot ignore and accept the cert in he won't let me. Which is off and I don't know how to turn it on.

  In any case, I submitted a ticket for the owners of the website last week and now everything works.

If I type Perry Como, in the search box, the page does not change.

  lysdexic01, I know almost exactly what you describe on my screen of iTunes Store recently updated for Windows 7 64-bit. Only difference is that the icons in the black box are invisible until I move the mouse above them, their location by trial and error. Once activated, the icon remains visible. Each found icon flickers at first, but stops flashing if I pass the mouse over it.

  I think that the store is now functional and useless for those of us experiencing this problem. Other users have reported that their iTunes store screen flickers since they updated iTunes to the latest version, but most did not mention the area big black screen that you and I see.

  So far, Apple seems not to believe that there is a problem with the software to update iTunes. It is therefore important that users continue to report these problems to Apple that there are enough complaints for attention even during a week of office party.
