  Method 2.

  Log files are rotated once a virtual computer is turned on or when the file reaches a certain size. The vmware.log (without number) is the current log file. By default, the old files are kept for purposes of troubleshooting.   You can remove the program from the taskbar and check if that helps. To remove a program pinned to the taskbar, open the jump list for the program, and then click remove this program from the taskbar.
