Why Aspire Firefox for Android?

Firefox on Android 2.3.7 is probably the worst software I used it all. Short boot, it is an unusable product.

1 horizontal orientation distorts the graphics in an unusable state.
2. access to text fields pop-up keyboard input, but distorts the graphic design of the Web page in an unusable state. This only happens when the keyboard is in place. Everything returns to normal when I drop the keyboard. Only fields entered text on the page modules are working properly.
3. Add search fields search engines does not work on both engines, I tried: dictionary.com & priberam dictionary Portuguese.

Main features are broken here. How long will take to solve this problem?

First of all, Firefox for Mac me drop because to date, the animation of the rear & front page is still absent. The feature was introduced in Safari 2 years. After that time, I moved Safari.

Then I install Firefox for Android find this mess, which persists more than 6 months since I installed it all first. I had to resort to dolphins all the time.

Finally, I see low quality updates come out on the Windows platform. I have used Firefox since 2.0 (maybe earlier), but my loyalty is being overwhelmed. Don't think that you can continue on the same path without a game. I've yet to find a good alternative, but I'm looking.

Looks like you're on one of the following phones Motorola Defy XT, call Samsung, Galaxy Mini 2 (GT-S6500), Galaxy Ace Q (i827d), HP Touchpad. These have some graphics drivers who behave strangely with Firefox on Android.

We have improved the addition of search engines on our construction of trunk. The changes should appear under 24 of Firefox. At the moment the engines can be added to http://mycroftproject.com/

I can't speak for Mac issues.

I got this ASUS MEMO Pad unit for 6 months and Firefox for Android has never been able to play any media or plugin content without crashing. I tried to play with the appropriate flash installed plugin flash and without and it crashes every time (it should not crash even without the plugin - it should do).

  • Why don't build you firefox for android versions prior to version 2.2. My android phone has android 2.1 Flash version.

My phone has Android 2.1 version (Flash). Unfortunately there are no updates available for my device, even in the future. I consider you as a top developer if you can optimize your browser to support my mobile device. And I know you won't, because as a developer, it is very difficult to work on older versions of android, and which took time. Really, I have made a worse choice my mobile device.

This is for technical reasons. Firefox for Android requires a feature called OpenGL ES. Open GL ES is used to draw on the screen. Android 2.2 is the first version of Android to support OpenGL ES 2.0 for applications of NDK.

  • Firefox for android mobile phone said app can access the following on your phone... take pictures and videos? Is there a work around? If not have to uninstall.

I have Firefox for my laptop and wanted to use it on my phone Android mobile phone. When I saw under permissions that the application can access photos and videos and can take photos and videos that seemed very odd. Does anyone know of a work around to keep the app to take photos and videos without my permission? I do not want to uninstall but can allow the intrusion of privacy.

We have a help article about why this permission is here: how Firefox for Android uses the requested permissions?

Specifically, some sites may give you the option to attach or embed an image directly from the camera instead of going through a folder of pictures already taken. In order to support this feature, Firefox requires permissions to access the camera. However, according to this article, Firefox will ask your permission before leaving the site to use the camera. I don't think I have ever seen this in action.

  • No Firefox for Android of Firefox desktop sync passwords?

I do understand that my Firefox for Android is able to get the passwords stored in Firefox desktop.

I configured on both sync and works correctly for the tabs and bookmarks.

Passwords, I don't know: I don't seem to be able to access those that are stored on my laptop to mobile.

Here are a few reasons why passwords are not synchronized.

    • Using the functionality of master password on Firefox for Android. If you don't know what it is you using it. If you are fairly long disable for Firefox for Android to sync once, and then re - activate the password.
    • Site is to save the password for you by using cookies. The remember check me box on the login page of many sites. Firefox Sync will not sync cookies.
    • The site has another mobile page. www.Facebook.com is another touch.facebook.com site Firefox will not share a password for a site on a different subdomain, because there is no guarantee that they are both managed by the same company.
  • Will be released 13 of Firefox for Android?

Download fate 13 Firefox on Android? The reason I ask is because for some strange reason, the stable version in the Google game store is still at version 10 (quite old now).
I want to have the best features of Firefox, so I hope that 13 will be released and not overlooked like what happened in 12 or 11.
Version 10 is also pretty slow, where the reason why I want to improve.

10 Firefox for android has been updated with security patches, is the latest stable version. The developers decided to put a hold on the release of new versions while they finished 13 of Firefox. This is why there is no 11 or 12. There is no exact eta, but I bet it will be in beta (which is on Google game) in a week or two and published officially in 6 to 8 weeks after that.

  • How can I remove the Get Firefox for Android box on the homepage?

Recently, I noticed that I constantly see a box on the home page of Firefox asking if I want to send me a link to Firefox for Android. Is there a way to delete it? I tried the solution with a similar issue in 2012, but the solution doesn't seem to work this time: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/937849#answer-370222

These kinds of "ads" should have an option to delete, as I already have the application installed and do not want to see it more. Firefox is usually of choice, and a button to mark the div html with style 'hidden' should be very simple to implement.

I think it would be great if there was a button to reject individual code snippets that you do not want to see again. But... I'm not aware of such a thing at the moment.

If you look through the recent posts about the excerpts on the home page, you can find a number of different methods to hide their. For example:
