Why can not install some applications creative Cloud on my PC at home?
Recently, my employer has sprung for creative cloud. I was very happy to use it at work. Given that I do a fair amount of work at home, it is particularly useful.
Or it would be if I could figure out how to install all the software I need . I was able to install five or six apps already (Photoshop, Dreamweaver and bridge among them), but I have the following problems:
- Fireworks: crashes at 54%, completed by the centuries of centuries. (I waited three hours)
- Creation: Downloads completely, but then said "Waiting."... "for ever and ever. (I've waited 2 h 30)
Ironically, I have aninstalled my older versions of these programs specifically because CC makes it obsolete. My PC is powerful enough to run this software, but I don't really know how to move forward. I tied up my computer the last two nights trying to install these items and don't have a clue what to do.
Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to provide more information, such as pull an error log, or what you have.

According to the newspapers, it seems that installation hangs during repair of the Adobe help.
Could you move the folder C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Adobe helps on the desktop and then continue the installation and check.

Error -60 is an error in downloading, caused mainly due to network problem.
(1) delete the Temp folder.
(2) turn off the anti-virus and firewall temporarily.

After re-installation and update of XP, I had trouble to install Microsoft fix - it. When I downloaded it, I was told that it was a mistake and asked to try again later. (Frustrating, there is no error number and no information on the nature of the error.)
Looking at my logs of errors (start > Panel > administrative tools > component services > Event Viewer, I could look at the logs.) In this case, I found a mistake for CARPET (Microsoft automated troubleshooting service). An internet search will find many very official looking websites offering downloads to fix the problem, but don't be fooled, most (all?) of these sites are trying to download a file that contains a virus or malware. Use rather a search on internet of the type of error and the error number to find the measures to take to resolve the problem manually.In this case, the correction of this error was relatively simple but hard to find (thanks WR203). Go to start > Control Panel > administrative tools > services and right click on Microsoft automated troubleshooting services and select Properties. On the connection tab, select the radio button for "this account:" and enter "NT\SYSTEM authority" (without the quotes). You must then provide and verify the password of your system. If successful, you will be asked to restart the service. If you receive the error 80072efe or 80080008 when you use Windows Store, the cause may be an interruption of the connection between your computer and the Windows Update service.
Here are a few methods you can try to solve this problem.

Open and run the Windows Update Troubleshooter to fix the problem automatically.
Method 2: Run the troubleshooter for Internet connections.
Open the network troubleshooter utility by hitting at full speed in the straight edge screen, quilting search (or if you use a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then clicking search), inbound to identify and repairin the search box, and then tapping or identify and repair network problems.

If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

I can not open any application such as anti virus, system restore or anything like that in my control panel. I can open internet explore. I know that I have the xp antivirus virus 2011. I can't remove anything well. When I try to download and install new anti virus it will download but not open.

MalwareBytes Anti-Malware works well... but this isn't an antivirus application. It mainly deals no virus malware. The usual recommendation is to install good antivirus for the protection in real time and to analyze periodically with the free version of MBAM (and SUPERAntiSpyware). I have uninstalled, restarted and reinstalled the latest version of my software, unsigned, signed, wheel, sacrificed a Twinkie to foreigners... Did that shit for hours...
I thought it was BusinessCatalyst that was the problem, but I tried a dozen other extensions Add on with same error results.
The error is "(insérer le nom extension ici) not able to be installed because it requires a compatible application of CC (error-411)." I tried the extensions for Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator - no install and have the same error.
Adobe support has been no help whatsoever.
Someone at - it an idea of what the problem might be?

Well, as usual, I ended up fixing myself by reinstalling everything from scratch:
- Uninstalled all applications using Creative Cloud Desktop
- Uninstalled creative Cloud Desktop
- Delete all files on the system com.adobe
- Deleted each Adobe folder on the system
- Restarted
- Installing Desktop creative cloud
- Reinstalled all applications
