  Everything I try associated with firefix gets "your computer must be restarted to complete a previous update of Firefox" I tried to not restart no luck, I tired uninstall in Add Remove programs or install 4.0 on it.   10.) the Setup .exe file is now gone - I'm deleting it. He took himself

  It is possible that the Flash Player files detected in your second screenshot are in a certain place that uninstall is not updated on delete. Follow these steps:

  1. Launch Firefox and navigate to Subject: plugins
  2. Locate the Shockwave Flash
  3. Note the access path Flash Player Flash Player from loading.  For example:
     
  4. Using Windows File Explorer / go to the location of the path (in step 3) and delete the file

  For the dialogue window empty installer, follow these steps:

  1. Right-click on the Setup file, and then select Properties
  2. On the general tab, click the unlock button
     
  3. Click apply
  4. Click OK to close the window
  5. Double-click on the installer to start the installation program

  Success!  I managed to fix file to the Apple software update, and then I deleted it and the rest of them.  Then followed the instructions and made sure all Apple related software was off my laptop.  I then rebooted, it ran a place clean and restarted again and downloaded and installed iTunes successfully.  I thank you very much for your help, you led me to the right place.
