Why CC 3-way does nothing when I click on 'white' or 'black '?

Hey there ' All! I'm new here from FCP7. I don't know if this is normal or if I'm missing something but I don't really need to be able to understand and it drives me crazy!

I noticed that the 3way color corrector does not much when I click on an area that is supposed to be 'white' or 'black '. So I thought I'd do a few tests. In photoshop, I created an image in 3 colours (black, white, & 50% gray) and then applied a blue tint. Then imported the image tinted in first and FCP7.

Here's the result in PrPro:

In FCP7, here is the result:

That's what I do:

-J' I apply the color corrector 3 PrPro lanes

-I click on the little eyedropper "strengths".

-Click on the white part of the image

The result? Nothing.

I do the same thing for the midtones and shadows. And I find myself with what you see in the first picture on the left.

When I do exactly the same thing in FCP7 you can see he gets rid of the blue tint and I find myself with an image that is exactly this means that white/black/tones should look like...

WHAT ME MISS IN FIRST PRO?

Hello Ivan,.

I miss this one-click feature too! But with more than three clicks and a few meters from the mouse, you get the same result. In the section of midtones and highligts of shadow, there is gain slider witch is set to 20% as default. Set it to 100%. But, to me it does not work all the time well...
