  Greetings,

  I found account, is a simulation training and evaluation where the timing of the slides is set to 3 seconds of post-production: I want to change ALL of the timing of slides to 2 sec.

  I know I should have done this in the global Prefs by default prior to registration. Will the preferences and try to change the Slide duration post-production does not work.

  Is it possible to do without having to change each slide individually?

  No, I do not know such a flow of work and also think that this would probably cause a lot of questions. If you have interactive objects, change the slide duration will change active/inactive parts, if you have any effects, the duration will be changed relatively, if you have audio, it will cut off etc...

  Is there a particular reason why you want to do this? Maybe for a little little the size of the file? Most oppose default timeline will no doubt also be 3secs, to reduce the duration of the slide that you will first have to decrease the times of the object or attach them to the end of the slide (CTRL-E). If there is no real staggering into objects that will be the fastest way (but always slide/slide):

  • finding items of each type/style and define his script in 2 seconds, you can use the small curved arrow top right of the accordion of Timing to apply to all objects of that style/type
  • then slide/slide select the chronology of the slide and use the shortcut CTRL-SHIFT-LEFT to decrease the length with 1 sec

  As you say you know the command to use in the Terminal, and then with Automator, use the Action run the Shell Script after the name change.  The new file name will be passed to the Action run a Shell Script, and from there, you can use touch - r to set the time of the file at the time the name of the new file

• Change the display time for grouped objects

  Hello, I have problems to change the display time for the grouped items. I use 7 Captivate and I love how now grouped items display only as an element in the timeline because it reduces the number of lines visiblein the chronology for each object on a slide. However, now that the grouped objects is more individually appear in the timeline panel, I can't see all the adjustments for group objects together.

  If someone else has had this problem and is there a work around? My main problem is that if I need to extend or shorten the audio to the slide, and I assigned a tip action to be grouped in order to adjust the grouped object to match the audio, I must now separate adjust, regroup, then reset the advanced action by using the name of the new group. It's frustrating and tedious.

  To enlarge and view the items grouped on the timeline, you need to click the arrow next to the group name. Once you develop, you can select the individual object and adjust the timings.

  

  Alternatively, you can select the individual object in the Group on the slide and adjust the timing of the accordion of timing. You can do it without separate.

• I can't LR5.0 to change the Capture time

  When I try to set a specific capture time, it behaves exactly like LR4.x but nothing CHANGES after hitting 'change '.   Anyone else have this problem?

  

  The top left of the screen progress bar appears briefly as if changes are made, but when go back to change, again, the capture time remains unchanged.

  PROBLEM SOLVED.   After being frustrated with more attempts, I left LR5 and then restarted, it.   After having done that, I saw NO other problems and am able to change the date/time of capture as expected.   (Maybe my hardware is bad driving... will have to look.)

  I just did an event with 2 cameras and later, I noticed that one of the 2 cameras was about 3 minutes and 25 seconds in front of the other.

  I want to set the capture time because some of the image are out of use now.

  It doesn't seem like Lightroom may deal with this small amount of time, or does it? (LR can do a picture at once, but not in batches, it seems)

  I use version 3.5

  

  If Lightroom cannot do, any other software could do it in batches?

  Select all the photos that need to be adjusted and change the Capture time.  Select the reduce/enlarge option at specified Date and time and set the corrected time of 03:25 less.  This will adjust all photos of the same relative difference.

  (This is a common confusion about this command option - it is mislabeled).

  I have a slide that has a 30 sec display time.  I want to change it to 6 seconds.  Then I'll drag propteries and change the display of the time in 6.  I click OK but it make no difference.  When I look at the properties again, the time is set back to 30 seconds!

  Check your timeline - sounds like you have something there (maybe do scroll to the right to see) which forces the duration to 30 seconds.
